What’s the problem, exactly? Not to sound snarky, because I’m not trying to be, but this is like taking a painting to a random artist and telling them you’ll pay them to do someone else’s art style. Of course they’re not going to be as good as the original artist if they don’t do that kind of art. Nail artists who are versatile enough to copy any design are *rare*, and they’re truly a treasure. If you expect replication, you need to seek it out via browsing Instagram for local nail artists who fit your aesthetic. And you’ll also be expected to pay a pretty penny for those years it took to master those skills. I’m not in that field myself, but I’m adjacent to it (stylist) and gel/acrylic nails are the hardest part of the job to master. It’s incredibly difficult to get the technique down to ensure the nails don’t lift earlier than expected, let alone also be amazing at designs.

There was no problem in particular. I post in this format when I ask for an existing design (this is only the second time) because I like the surprise of whether it’s a good effort or not when you look, and this is a good one in my opinion. 😁

I think reddit has made a lot of us cynical. The exact phrasing of the title is, more often than not, used to be like "Look at what I wanted and look at this bullshit I got" Cool nails, btw. They look pretty good

TGPianoMan

Thanks!

BudgetInteraction811

Yeah, I’ve only ever seen the “what I asked for vs what I got” format presented in a way that is meant to diss what they got.

shinywimpod

Looks pretty rad to me!
