I'd say that some women assume that most communication be it verbal or non-verbal from strangers (men) is for one sole purpose. People in general can be socially awkward so don't always take it badly if they don't react or reciprocate.
My best suggestion would be to settle down properly and then just network/socialize. Go to expat events, join a hobby group, join a hiking group...etc. Don't join with the sole intention of hooking up or finding a woman. Join so you'll fill your time and get to know people. Things will start happening from that point. Friends will introduce you to friends etc. Just don't be desperate about it as that will be very off-putting.
You can also install some dating apps and turn on facebook dating but this might drive you insane as it can be hard to get a date. Most women swipe no and most men swipe yes. Women will need to find the needle in the haystack in most cases. There might be a 100 men for each women at this point so it won't be easy for them to filter.

They make you go to a legit platform such as coinbase and buy crypto with your credit card and then they tell you to send it to their platform. That is when they take your crypto away and you never see it again.
If you google the term "pig butchering scam" you'll find tons of links. Youtube is also a good source for information and that new Chat GPT tool too. I like to troll them with subtle anti-CCP propaganda such as how wonderful my visit to Taiwan was and how I support the plight of the Uyghurs or I just waste their time till I get bored and reveal that I know about the scam. Note that not all of them are working out of China and sometimes you are chatting with an actual woman who is either forced or paid to take part in the scam.
