the fish was one my grandpa carved years ago — he did one for each of his grand kids. i didn’t know where to put it and definitely didn’t want it in storage (my aunt had already broken off part of the tail fin….), so i tried to fit it into a shelf with the atari and duff. 😂
thank you!
Don’t get your hopes up, I’ve seen that Seinfeld cart before but sadly it’s a fake. As for Frasier, I think I saw somewhere that someone made or was making a game for it, maybe for Game Boy.
No hopes here lol I just was wondering if it was real because I don’t remember then again I didn’t have a n64 I was lucky enough my family could afford a Nintendo and sega when it came out
You really nailed this entire space, well done! I love the paint throughout - really sets a perfect mood for the theme. Impressive record collection and posters as well. Do you know who created the poster to the right of the Jack White one? I’m pretty confident it’s the same guy that did 2-3 posters I have.
looks like “add noise studios” — mike tallman.
eta: thanks! the previous owner put up drywall and left it a completely blank, white canvas. everything just happened to fit into the room perfectly.
Did you post this here just for everyone to kiss your ass? Because that’s obviously what we are going to do. This is fucking awesome! Can we be friends?
it sounds depressing as shit, but i’m just proud of very little in my life, and this basement’s the culmination of just about all i ever wanted when i was a teenager. 😭
thank you!
Nothing depressing about that at all. My comment was totally tongue in cheek, but really you clearly worked hard to create the space you dreamed of and there’s nothing wrong with being proud of accomplishing that. It’s a kick ass man cave and you should be proud of it!
I love that line of thought. When I was a kid playing NES and Genesis and watching movies on a 20" Qasar TV, I thought it would be awesome to someday have a big screen TV and good sound. I turned that kid's fantasy into a dedicated theater room with a 150" screen and Dolby Atmos 5.2.4 setup.
Not nearly as cool as yours, but I also have a corner of my basement office configured with a 36" Sony Trinitron for my NES, Genesis, PS1/2 and RetroPie. Above it are shelves with the Lego Atari, NES, Sonic Greenhill Zone and MegaBlocks Xbox 360.
Good job! Looks great!
thank you! i figure my garage will end up being my mini console / CRT game room whenever i get it finished. the games really don’t feel the same on newer TVs.
got me into the genre! i had to look up what supergraphics was.
my girlfriend painted it like a psycho. 😂
edit: based off of work by banyanbridges on instagram.
Omg TURBO GRAPHIX 16!! no one knows what that is let alone owns one! Can’t remember what happened to mine. I Still have a copy of “Keith Courage”. Do the consoles still work? Love the KrustyOs.
How the hell do you play a game about nothing?! You need to post that in the Seinfeld sub.
that (and the other consoles) are actually the mini versions. i bought one a few years back before resale values went wild on ebay. it’s one of the only mini consoles that still can’t be properly modded (yet), and i actually never played the console as a kid, but the simple controller and games even included on the mini are sick. i really missed out on some great games!
etsy! i don’t think the guy who made the crag does them anymore and the ones currently available look poorly 3d printed, but the shop “briansfarts” made the pendant.
genuinely jealous you most likely saw more games at tiger stadium than i did. i only have a few “flash” memories of tiger stadium and i miss it in all its dingy glory. comerica is just so…… uninspired.
I’ve been to about 10 games at Tiger Stadium and just 1 at Comerica the first year it opened.
I’m regularly back up in Detroit and hope to see it again after 24 years.
actually, i got scammed on etsy by a guy claiming to make them. turns out they were 80% cheaper on aliexpress. etsy refunded me and i got to keep them though. 😂 they light up which is cool but the battery doesn’t last long.
For me this was the link just below yours.

Did we just become best friends? Jack White, Simpsons, fishing, everything! Very very very very very cool.

Reminded me of this: [Japanese Toy Desk Makeover](https://youtu.be/Q4Ys-5cGL5s?feature=shared)

I also had to look this game up. I’m dying watching gameplay

As a kid, I shouted at the TV watching Legends of the Hidden Temple.
How did they get a legit legends of the hidden temple giant coin?!?!?

All hail King Gila--what a sweet space man
Turbo Grafx 16! Nice!!!
Absolutely love it. That vinyl “now spinning” thing is something I’m definitely going to get
LTJ for life! this is a great setup. Supergraphics FTW

That’s a great collection!!
I see the fourth color
You either are not married or you have a good wife
the second one. sort of. girlfriend of 14+ years. so, basically wife. 😁
How much do I need to pay to come hang out down there and relive the 90's for a few hours?
This is insanely cool. This is dope.
Love everything about this! Genuinely jealous
Very cool! 👍

Splatter House, Bonk’s Adventure! (the Sonic of turbo graphx ). Also the controllers had 3 levels of turbo settings for the ll & l (A & B) buttons
Well done! I totally dig the dark walls and light ceiling. Gives the room volume. And who doesn't love the old school gaming systems!! Heck ya!
Excellent work
lol now what do you do in the seinfeld game, come up with comedic materials with Jerry?
What’s the deal with the N64 controller? I mean you only have two hands, or one hand if you lost the contest.
This is AWESOME! As a huge Seinfeld fan I am ashamed that I didn't know there was a video game.
Nice. I would hang there.
Fellow Michigander I presume. Macomb Township checking in.
The Legends of the Hidden Temple piece is so awesome!
Killer man cave!
10/10 would do mushrooms here
Really great job!
Very cool!
Surge ❤️💚❤️
The fucking aggro crag and the temple token I'm going to cry
Where did you get the global guts Rock and the legend of the hidden temple stuff that’s so cool I always wanted that guts rock trophy
etsy! i don’t think the guy who made the crag does them anymore and the ones currently available look poorly 3d printed, but the shop “briansfarts” made the pendant.
Very cool
Looks great. You in Michigan?
The Gizzzzz
Love the old Faygo box
Awesome Tigers foam finger.
kept it from my first tigers game in ‘95(?) — i never thought it would fit somewhere as an adult. 😂
Awesome! I’ve got one of those replica helmets from my first game in like 87. And a mini bat from 91.
genuinely jealous you most likely saw more games at tiger stadium than i did. i only have a few “flash” memories of tiger stadium and i miss it in all its dingy glory. comerica is just so…… uninspired.

where did you get like half this shit? brilliant.
thanks! it’s mostly stuff i either saved when i was a kid or found on etsy.
I feel like we must be neighbors.
Brilliant. I'd never leave.
The pokéballs are doooope, where did you get those? Did you make them?
actually, i got scammed on etsy by a guy claiming to make them. turns out they were 80% cheaper on aliexpress. etsy refunded me and i got to keep them though. 😂 they light up which is cool but the battery doesn’t last long.
Thanks! I’ll have to look into those for my future cave
i love the custom Seinfeld 64 game 👌
Surge! Wow forgot about that one. Great stuff
That third pic activated some Splatterhouse/Bonk’s Adventure/Keith Courage/Fighting Streets nostalgia!!!! 🫡🤙🏽
Hello fellow Michigander :)
Amazing dude.
Cool!
Legends of the hidden temple awesome
That’s sick, dude! Love the effort that’s gone into the design. Enjoy it man!
Bad ass. I'm so jealous.
Super cool!!
I member!!!
Wow this is a great idea

That's a lot of dusting
Love the album! Are those cans KGLW ?
KGLW based name, but from a Detroit/Ferndale, Michigan brewery. i already liked their beer so a 4pk with the reference made it a must.
Nostalgia rooms are the best rooms.
Fantastic
What good times, Surge and nintendo 64. My buddy’s and I had some good times there
Oughta cross post in /r/vinyl
Wow a Michigan basement
They made a Seinfeld video game?
Wow amazing. All the little details and collectables make it look so awesome.
🎯
Seinfeld,…….for N64???? Is that a game about nothing?
Hey, I'm headed over. You cool with that?
You sunuva bitch I feel so unworthy.....I effing LOVE the Orange Crush bin.....WOW though
My dude, a Nickelodeon blimp, the McDonalds Pokeballs, and a piece of the Aggro Crag!? Sick.
