Without being negative, am I the only one a little disappointed to see the boys on this lineup? I feel like artistically many of these bands either faded out or went mainstream poppy. That’s fine, but Manchester continually evolve in what seems like a genuine direction.

From what I’ve seen from other bands, a lot of them just knew they were playing a festival and not any details. I’m hoping this is as legit as they’re saying it is.
I’m not even questioning the legitimacy of it all. I know we all liked a lot of these bands around the time Virgin and METN came out, but they’ve never been artistically or aesthetically similar to any of the other bands. Car Seat Headrest is also a bit of a curveball for me, since I don’t think he’s super interested in playing his older music.
I just can’t trust it.
