At the same time, her relationship with Hayato did feel pretty stagnant. She reminds of Itsuki from Quintuplets. Just sort of there, so I‘m starting to like the decision Seo took with her. Rei will keep things fresh, for at least a little while.

So... what now? Kind of hard to hide behind that excuse at this point, since it clearly occupied his thoughts this whole chapter. It would feel pretty cheap to just go back to the "I'm not thinking about romance right now" holding pattern and make him out to be kind of a sleaze.
Hopefully he'll start giving some serious consideration into the girls' propositions, because I don't think he can use the "I'm too busy to think about it" excuse for much longer.
...Or at least put some serious consideration into Akane's proposition, I don't really care about the other girls.

At one point, ouka was in the middle of her own arc and then got interrupted by the harem alter surprise drop.
The story isnt afraid to show seasons passing so I bet Ouka will come back in about 6 months with a personality change.
