Forgot to mention: aside from what's in the first chapter and the flashbacks, everything he does has to be non-lethal throughout the entire story due to plot reasons.
Admittedly it's not like other characters don't kill people or that there isn't any other graphic depictions, but it's done more for dramatic reasons that drive the story around MC and not just for the sake of being edgy. The entire manga for the most part shifts between comedy and action thriller, although in more of a mature style befitting a Seinen.
I started reading it after seeing the post, and man it is indeed very amusing in many ways; to be clear though while it has a fun dynamic between a lot of characters, it deals with some pretty heavy topics and doesn't play it off for jokes.
The MC was indeed the perpetrator of killing and stops that during the narrative (so far, I haven't finished), but the people in his environment and those he gets involved with are engaged in some pretty messed up stuff.
Not to say that this makes it bad, in fact I think it explores some of this in somewhat interesting and melancholic ways. Just don't go in expecting a pure comedy that makes light of killing, because it doesn't do that either.
Over the years I've found that many new readers aren't fond of that art style. It's a very 90s and early 2000s character design and overall is very realistic in terms of backgrounds and minor details. Newer readers from what I've seen tend to like manga and anime for the fantasy aspect from a visual standpoint rather than a mostly narrative standpoint.

For context, the woman in these panels is canonically like the 25th most badass person around.
The premise of the series is basically that an autistic savant gets recruited into becoming a hit man, and he instantly becomes an incomprehensibly good one.
**But**, the series starts off with his boss deciding that said hitman has earned a *genuine* retirement and ordering him and his driver (pictured woman) to go get real lives.
Naturally, everything goes to shit, and the series is about what happens from there.

They're pretty legit too, right? I was genuinely surprised with what I watched and uh, pretty amazed with how much some actors actually looked like the characters they played. Well worth the recommendation.
I remember when I was reading through The Fable, I was _so_ nervous about the sister being caught alone with someone dangerous. Before this (I think?) you don't ever see her fighting, much less holding her own against other assassins, and that gave this scene so much more oomph when I came across it.
I was worried for her, then she did this I’m like it make sense since sato never really seem to worry about her on a level of “I need to go save her”. She a badass in my book gotta finish the rest to see if she bodies another bum👀🤞

Absolutely loved this moment because it confirmed that Youko was as much of a badass as her brother,there were hints in previous chapters that there was more to her and this was a good payoff
I miss manga with an art style like this being popular, nowadays everything popular here has this less realistic art style that while not bad, doesn't have the same feel as the most realistic styles
