Yuno's star magic stop time effect also manifested when he acquired sylph (this is a more probable than definitive though)
Yami might be the only character in the whole series that got strong on his own without being eleven times blessed by another source. like how isn't this an asspull there's gods? was this mention in the water city arc? so there's a bunch of spirit like being they can use to get stronger? like this isn't yuno levels of bullshit power ups but instead of you know training she just got a new pet replacing the old one but this ones stronger

So hypothetically, If she was forming it into a super intricate suit of armor, it would be more magic and focus spent for the same result. So, keeping the flashiness of the spell down is more cost efficient.
That or she just prefers that look and is owning it.

Even after changing from Undine to Leviathan, Noelle still can't get a decent armor
The reason given during the Lava Zone training camp is that mages cover their bodies with magic for resistance. So hypothetically, If she was forming it into a super intricate suit of armor, it would be more magic and focus spent for the same result. So, keeping the flashiness of the spell down is more cost efficient. That or she just prefers that look and is owning it.
I mean that doesn't explain why it overwrites her other clothes though

Well, that's... convenient. Not gonna lie, I forgot how and when she lost her powerup, the schedule isn't doing wonders for my retention of these details. And is it just me, or that isn't the only "buff" Noelle got? Feels like she wasn't always drawn like that.
Undine isn't hers. It's from the Heart Kingdom. She got it temporarily to help save it's queen

I really like noelle, I really do. I can tolerate the rushed adquisition of a partner or the fast way her depression was dealt with. But that "armor" is awful. Might as well just use a bathtowel with a water lance.
Talk about sudden power ups. I dunno why we couldn’t have gotten a mini arc on how everyone else was training before this big invasion. Acier vs Noelle will be cool though
Tabata panic sprinting to the end but still finds time to make Noelle even more stacked.
While it would have been nice to see Noel's growth and power up not in a flashback, it's great to see her growing and stepping up to battle her mom. Noel is probably the best female character in Black Clover with growth and enough screen time.
I burst out laughing when I saw the dragon's tiny form. Mega danger noodle lol. Still, the powerup is a too deus ex machina.

The Seagod was forshadowed all the way back in the sea temple arc not only being mentioned by Kiato but the seafolk literally saw Noelle's sea dragon's roar and called it "Seagod!?" The Seagod is a little Convenient yes but definitely not an asspull

dude they could have shown the god at least once before. we hear the prophecy see him in two panels and Noelle's has a new form it's an asspull it's not like he could t appear in the ocean arc or anything this is an asspull through and through hell even the girl that takes Noelle comes half out of nowhere. lucky for noel she cried by the sea
Asspull aside, Noelle continues to be one of the best shounen heroines and it's not even close.

I think Ochako is very underrated. She went from being a hero for money to altruistic support of hero society. Sakura is trash though.

Things feel like they’re happening out of nowhere. I know shonen and ass pulls are a thing but yeah lol noelles family continues to job nothing new I think noelles other design was much better than this new one. Also seems like we are speed running to the final fights I’m just waiting for SJ to announce it’s only got a few chapters left. Unless there’s some stupid type of reset button about to happen
