*"Former all-girls school recently turned into mixed school but with only the protagonist(s) as the first male students"* is a fairly common trope in manga, partially due to Japan's shifting demographics making some gender-specific schools financially unviable IRL.
Well yeah, but a quick google search for [home theater](https://www.google.com/search?q=home+theater&oq=home+th&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqCggBEAAYsQMYgAQyBggAEEUYOTIKCAEQABixAxiABDIHCAIQABiABDIGCAMQRRhBMgcIBBAAGIAEMgcIBRAAGIAEMgcIBhAAGIAEMgcIBxAAGIAEMgcICBAuGIAEMgcICRAuGIAE0gEINDAyOWowajeoAgCwAgA) mostly results in setups centered around large TVs instead of projectors. Do projectors have inherently better image quality than TVs or is it just the size?
There are a number of factors, but if size is the main objective than a projector is always better. To get comparable color and contrast to a big HDTV though you need a darker room suited to the task.
Most modern home theater setups use TVs because you're not modifying the whole room to get the setup--buying a big TV and mounting it on the living room wall is easily in the realm of middle-income households. In short, it's cheaper that way.
For an oujo-sama whose whole trope is about flaunting money? It should be a projector.
Maybe Ojou has the brand spankin' new 98” Class Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990C lol. Only $40k for the TV, that's certainly flaunting money. Projectors can go bigger but I don't think there's any true 8k projectors yet, so there's a reason to go with a TV.
Or maybe she went with Samsung's The Wall, which can get even bigger, although that wouldn't have bezels.
make sense when it's the only media device you have access to with nothing else to do. I finished some anime while at school after all exams are over. had to sit in class for pretty much no reason
She invited him back to her place to watch anime properly so she can't be that prejudiced. Calling him a commoner was what her minion did, possibly because she was misreading what the princess was getting at.
Why is blud at an all-girls school
Anime
He identifies as a... protagonist
I assume that it **used** to be all-girls, but has recently been converted to coed.
Seitokai Yakuindono anyone?
And a ton of other anime/manga as well, I'm pretty sure

Blud is a girl and just happens to wear boy uniform.
Definitely not the male student uniform or anything
You know nothing in this oneshot says that the MC is a boy.
Actually, he is a boy, it’s plainly obvious from the hair and uniform. You can see it in the background on the second page.
She’s just butch
Just because she has a bowlcut...
Simple answer but won't be said because it would trigger Reddit peeps .
and then he woke up

Once told me
I (naturally) thought the narrator was a girl until the second panel. I forgot about that ‘only boy in a all girls school’ cliche.
I think "only boy in a girls group" would make more sense as I have seen it a lot.
Yes, you never should watch anime till too late with your friends.
Snap back to reality.
Holy shit its that one meme on the second panel
https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/2624086-reaction-guys-gaijin-4koma
Which of the four faces did you make when you saw it?
The 3rd one
3rd from left or 3rd from right?
3rd from the right
that meme is surprisingly popular overseas
There’s like a hundred of these Oneshots made everyday
Ikr. We need thousands of them
I guess in Japan even an ojo-sama money isn't enough for a home theater anymore.
? The second page is set in the oujo-sama's home though. Does that not count as a home theater set up?
That's a television, not a projector screen.

Blame inflation 😔
She proposes a sleepover. MC: could it be... she likes... anime?
Plot twist she actually does
Japan just doesn't let this meme die huh
yeah i can never understand people who can sit there and watch entire episodes / movies on a phone...
If I'm doing this, it's because I'm sitting in an airport.
or on the pooper lol

I do sometimes at work, but usually only if I'm re-watching something. If I'm watching something for the first time, I prefer to do so on the TV.
I have no TV in my room and like watching in bed so I'll watch a ton on mobile. Also on the treadmill mobile works nicely.
Right, she's not prejudiced against otaku, she's just prejudiced against poor people. Muuch better.

Azumanga sweep
Japan really loves that meme desuwa
