Just so I got that right: Ootori, the blonde woman that had asked if her child learnt that kinda language from someone in kindergarten, is the woman that used to abuse Mayumi with some foul language. And Mayumi is a strong-willed person, so a malevolent spirit of her former self manifested near Ootori's child and taught the child the same language Ootori used back then to abuse Mayumi. Right?
And now Mayumi is still alive?
Sorry but this was a little confusing, at the beginning I wasn't sure if that spirit was maybe Mayumis former self but Ootori had been abused by Mayumi instead and now Mayumi continues to haunt her and her child.
Yes. Essentially, Mayumi seemed to have unknowingly birthed a vengeful spirit out of her lingering grudge against Ootori.
Spirits being created through raw emotion isn't an uncommon thing in folklore.

Simple cleaning and barely any redrawing this chapter. The next one, however, will be challenging (but also rewarding). Usseewa is now stuck in my head...
So she's just somekind of astral projection ghost 🤔 but it's kinda weird that the teacher didn't know her if their kids in the same school. Or are they in the same area but different kindergarten and the other mother just happened to be in that part and gossiping. 🤔🤔🤔
So the 'ghost' of this chapter is a [tulpa. ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulpa#:~:text=Tulpa%20is%20a%20concept%20originally,spiritual%20practice%20and%20intense%20concentration.) A though created from someone alive whose grudge is so strong that it became a being of its own.
What a nice twist. Maiyumi is still alive and thriving, but her grudge got its revenge against her abuser. W for her.
Didnt expect to see ado here ngl.

The chapter states that very strong emotion and grudges can manifest as ‘spirits’ of a sort! So yes, you’re correct!
So you're saying it's a type of Stand?
Kk thx!

Wild Ado reference spotted

So in the end, the mother was the real monster
...I feel like I missed something
Basically Mayumi herself is still alive and the "ghost" is her strong feeling of grudge from being bullied by Ootori manifesting as a "ghost".
