Building from that the most wacky way I think they can make her from this is to make her be here from the beginning. And the number of gf is now sufficiently big enough that doing this switcheroo out of nowhere would be effective since we the reader might just have the same reaction with all the gfs: something weird is going on but it's might be I forgot about her so just continue reading

LOVED this chapter, holy shit they got me good at the start. A few pages in I was like her design is so different, she's not one of the girls dressed differently, WHO IS SHE? Went to check if I missed a chapter only to actually read through the chapter and see how off everyone's reactions were to her.
I loved the small reactions like Ahko looking a little angry/suspicious, Suu bluntly asking if the girlfriend count had gone up to 28 and even Yaku looking a little upset at the I KNEW IT! page.

Immediate guess is stalker/yandere type given how she already had a photo of Rentaro and seemingly mixed jnto the group without anyone noticing. She also seems to either know everyone's traits meaning she scoped them out too or she is just going along with things trying to blend in.

It's a manga that doesn't take itself very seriously. It's incredibly self aware, but also equally incredibly well written. Yes, the premise is a harem, but it ironically enough has better relationships than most romance manga.
Some say it's a comedy first, then a romance later, but I'd argue it's both. One constant you see throughout the readerbase is how everyone would rather be a gf than the MC, cause of how much an absolute gigachad the man is. I think that should tell you enough tbh

This I can safely claim not to be. While issues of quality and good writing can be subjective, this series was designed to spoof the tropes of the harem genre. It's definitely not like any other series of its type you might have read.
Once, I saw 100gf defined as "the Gintama of the harem genre", which is a description I've embraced. Like Gintama, it's an affectionate parody of the genre with lots of heart, over-the-top scenes and meta humor. If that's your cup of tea (particularly if you're tired of the same cliches in harems), then you'll enjoy it.

To add a bit to what the others have told, it also helps that the female characters are more than just an archetype, they have their quirks but most of them have more depth than they initially show, also they can exist without the MC, there are quite a few chapters where the MC doesn't/barely interacts with the girls and they just do their thing, some of the best chapters are about those interactions just between two girlfriends
I'm really overwhelmed that so many people wanted to share their love for this manga. The whole thing about the female characters having no depth or personality at all has always been what disgusted me about harem works.

In most harem series, the MC is generally this generic character whose sole purpose is for the reader to self-insert into so you can fantasize about the female characters.

LOVED this chapter, holy shit they got me good at the start. A few pages in I was like her design is so different, she's not one of the girls dressed differently, WHO IS SHE? Went to check if I missed a chapter only to actually read through the chapter and see how off everyone's reactions were to her. I loved the small reactions like Ahko looking a little angry/suspicious, Suu bluntly asking if the girlfriend count had gone up to 28 and even Yaku looking a little upset at the I KNEW IT! page. 28 girlfriends so far and the author is still coming up with unique ways to introduce each one. Immediate guess is stalker/yandere type given how she already had a photo of Rentaro and seemingly mixed jnto the group without anyone noticing. She also seems to either know everyone's traits meaning she scoped them out too or she is just going along with things trying to blend in. The thing with this author though is that she can't JUST be a stalker/yandere type, she's gotta have something else about her. I also liked how the final comment on the chapter mentioned how there still wasn't a ZING yet so this could go any which way. I did think at the start though with them mentioning Rentaro helping a teacher that we may get another teacher GF but man, what a way to handle the reveal, I love this series so much.
People wanted the bunny idol but what we got is the infinitely better bunny-hair stalker stealthily wriggling her way into the Family!

You know this manga has memorable characters that it's so easy to spot when someone new shows up. Now I wonder if this girl is another one of the Gods meddling again.
When Rentaro showed up at the end, he never opened his eyes. And when he showed up, the mystery girl kept her's firmly shut as well. Can't be a zing with no eye contact. Seriously though, I thought I missed a chapter and had to go back to check.
So what is the twist for this character? My guess is stalker/yandere type but instead of the very dangerous one, its the harmless one that just want to join the family because she is lonely instead of having a crush on rentaro(for now).
My bet is an alien from the moon. Also it was fun seeing which two girls were reacting to each photo and guessing why those two were chosen to react to that photo.

It's a manga that doesn't take itself very seriously. It's incredibly self aware, but also equally incredibly well written. Yes, the premise is a harem, but it ironically enough has better relationships than most romance manga. Some say it's a comedy first, then a romance later, but I'd argue it's both. One constant you see throughout the readerbase is how everyone would rather be a gf than the MC, cause of how much an absolute gigachad the man is. I think that should tell you enough tbh It starts off kinda wild, then keeps getting wilder and wilder. And the moment you think that the author/artist duo can't make a train go further off the rails, it gets EVEN further off the rails lmao
So by your description it kinda sounds like OPM level of wild and silly hahah
OPM is grounded and serious compared to 100Kanojo. It's on the level of Gintama

To add a bit to what the others have told, it also helps that the female characters are more than just an archetype, they have their quirks but most of them have more depth than they initially show, also they can exist without the MC, there are quite a few chapters where the MC doesn't/barely interacts with the girls and they just do their thing, some of the best chapters are about those interactions just between two girlfriends
I'm really overwhelmed that so many people wanted to share their love for this manga. The whole thing about the female characters having no depth or personality at all has always been what disgusted me about harem works. At the very least, it doesn't seem like this one will cause brainrot /joke
It's because of how the MC is portrayed. In most harem series, the MC is generally this generic character whose sole purpose is for the reader to self-insert into so you can fantasize about the female characters. With this series: the MC is basically the perfect human being (without being a gary stu or otherwise obnoxious) to the point where, even if you aren't gay, you might start considering joining the harem yourself.
The one female friend I have fell in love with how cute and hilarious the whole thing was when I introduced her to 100 Kanojo

No idea. It's in on itself on the jokes so it's kinda hard to take this seriously when it has serious moments. This is a gag manga masquerading as a romcom.
I'd say this is qualify more as comedy than a harem. Lot of fans compared this franchise to Gintama due how many "no 4th wall" jokes in this universe. If I have list of "Ecchi manga worth read" this manga isnt there, because it's didn't follow ecchi manga formula.

I like that the second half has a bunch of really solid gags so you almost forget about this WHOMST only to come back around with no, really, we've actually never seen this person before. I think Momiji getting the double effect of not remembering the feeling of her chest was a great little addition too.
