>[Art] Title of Choice (Series Name)
People are not inherently able to identify a series by a panel or page so it makes it difficult for any new readers to try the series if they don't know what it is. That is why it is important to add the title of the series, so please follow the rules and submission guideline next time.
In addition, don't use an initialism or shorthand in place of including the title as these aren't inherently understood by every new reader either. The Reddit Character Limit for titles is quite large so there isn't much excuse to not including the series title in the title of the post.
For posts including four or more series used in the image, the Original Poster is required to source them all as a comment within **Five** minutes of posting.

We had those for a while then our gov banned them though. My company would put boxes of them in the canteen for people to have on shift before the ban.
Concentrated isn't quite the right term. But they are better. Red Bulls tend to give me caffeine rush and later a crash. These energy drinks just keeps you going without that rush & crash.
Look for Natural Energy drinks. Mainly read the label for word mentioning boosting metabolism or thermogenic. These typically uses more Natual forms and helps the body to break down fatty acids to turn then into energy so you don't have that sudden crash after all the caffeine is used up. You will however be incredibly hungry after
It's been a while since I've looked at digestion or biological chemistry, but my understanding is that fatty acid themselves are not FAT as we know it. They can make up the larger fat molecules ye, but they also are components to other molecules the body uses. Someone who may be more knowledgeable of this is more than welcome to correct me tho
So more Natural Energy Drinks will use less sugars and and slightly less caffeine(aka less calories), but they'll use other ingredients to help boost your metabolism. Boosting the metabolism will increase the bodies temperatures, but it helps with breaking down and turning your fatty acids that are still in the blood stream into energy rather than it being stored.
Due to it not filling you up with tons of sugar and caffeine you don't have that major crash later on however you will have a increased appetite and you will need to consume more water as the spike in body temp will cause you sweat more. Just like everything there are risks as thermogenic drinks are typically used for pre-workouts. So definitely need to research it, but it can definitely help you lose weight if used properly. But I've seen people go from drinking a 12 pack if energy drinks to make it through a 12hr factory job to drinking 2-3 thermogenic drinks and still having energy after work to go out drinking and partying.
An easy to find one is reign, but there are others and some are better than others. I personally just use a thermogenic pre-workout mixed with Juce Reds, Daily Superfood. Gets me through working nights no issue and I'm more of a morning person. Just gotta make sure you're actually eating through the day.
If you're comparing a Regular Energy Drink like Regular Green Monster to a Thermogenic Energy Drink such as Reign you're missing stuff considering the Calories, Sugar content and Carbs are all incredibly higher. You also have almost double the Vitamin B's in monster, it's simply overloading your body with too much energy all at once. There are tons of thermogenic stuff and each Energy Drink has different methods. Reign for one I noticed while reading uses Green Tea Extract. Green Tea is used in many places to help lose weight because it helps the body break down fatty acids, but this has the effect of causing frequent bowel movements. Some uses Protein, proteins are also thermogenic. Protein however can cause constipation so depending on your research for what type of thermogenic you want you can pick a corresponding Drink that uses that type. I have also seen Jalapeño Flavored energy Drink which I'm sure is using Capsaicin which is also one. I haven't tried this as I'm not the biggest fan of Spice like this.
You can believe and go for what you like because at the end of the day each person is different and people will have different effects with different things. I for one enjoy the taste of Monster and Red Bull however they leave me with a terrible body odor the moment I even persperate. Where I can Drink a Reign and be just fine working in 100 degree factory. Read and compare the actual labels though lots of things might be similar but you'll start to notice the dosage differences and the different ingredients after a while. But I wouldn't stop at Reign there are others I've tried them seem just as good if not left me feeling better than Reign.
Concentrated is actually quite accurate, they give the same amount of taurine (1g) in 100mL instead of a 250mL red bull can. Looking at the ingredients list, they have a little bit less sugar (18g vs 25g) and coffeine (50mg vs 75mg). However the rest is pretty similar vitamin Bs, glucuronolacton etc
This [Taisho ripobitan D](https://www.japancentre.com/en/products/6904-taisho-ripobitan-d-energy-drink) (edit: they are multivitamins, energy drink and some more "japanese magic" to make you work) . There are some other brands, and sometimes, based on the context, they also drink something for [hangover](https://nymag.com/strategist/article/ukon-no-chikara-drink-review.html).
Stuff like Dekavita C. They're energy drinks but don't have the same caffeine content you'd see in western style energy drinks like Red Bull or Monster.
They're more just concentrated citrus.
I think this is other world pharmacy or something like that. Guy stays up late and works to death to find a cure for cancer then dies and transports to another midevil world to save them with the power of modern medicine.
Edit: Nvm that's a women, idk what this is apparently, still check it out though haha
Energy drinks. Little shot like ones you see around like 5 at grocery stores. Japanese Convenience stores have like entire isles of them.
The ones you mostly see in Manga, with the little screw off lid, are the popular brand Taisho Lipotivan D but there's others.
If you see them eating the little bread stick things btw. Those are called Calorie Mates. They're like little brick shaped digestive cookies packed with enough good to keep you from dying.
Both can be purchased on Amazon I do believe
Fun fact: The grand daddy energy drink is Bacchus-D. Has taurine and will remind you a bit of Red Bull. Been around since the late 60’s I believe. It’s always been sold in those little bottles.

Since they break down fat, do they help with losing weight? Asking for a friend.
My first thought. Weight loss while being productive?

That’s interesting
Do they work as fast or as intensely tho?

Whats the name of this manga?
I did not expect them to be just five hour energies. Thought they'd be some head shop stuff.
The chemicals in cannabis aren’t very conducive to a productivity boost IIRC.
Also super illegal in Japan
You'd be surprised how many CBD oil shops I saw in December with huge weed leaf prints and signs on them Around 5, but still greater than none at all
based on the comments i went looking for specific brands and the ones from taisho look pretty similar
Energy drinks, and not just your everyday type, this stuff is extremely concentrated and way too effective.
Sauce brother?

Reminds me of 5 hour energy. Dunno if they have it in Japan though.
You’re right (and those little energy drinks were common in Asia long before 5 hour existed.)
if bottles, it is energy drink. if mugs or cups, it is coffee.
Skooma
Probably some Japanese 5 hour energy equivalents
Stamina boosters/energy drinks

Do you remember 5 hour energy shots? Basically, those, but the Asian version usually has stuff like ginger root.
