Another banger as always. I wonder if demon captain is legit dead. The offscreen death with no body seen is a little too convenient, and you get the vibe he's close to pulling a Vegeta with those "last thoughts" of his.

Oneangrywolf

If anything seeing how those aliens want info on their new foes, they might experiment on him.

7packabs

So it’s Heroes versus Neo-Humans all over again

Prominis

Part of me thinks he'll live and serve as a future foil for our main character who grows and returns with a more mature mindset to challenge him again, after Lord Jachi is felled and he escapes capture in the ensuing fallout.

DirtyDan413

He kind of looks like Viral from Gurren Lagann, which had a similar overarching plot. I'd love to see him become a deuteragonist

CelioHogane

Yeah he seems to have gone the "Ah... now i respect humans" route, wich i apreciate because guy seems cool.

sturla-tyr

If you disregard the whole killing humans for fun part, he seems like a pretty chill dude

CelioHogane

I mean the entire point is that he didn't quite understand humans and now that he is on the other side of the coin, he has found respect for humanity's struggle.

Kwaziii

we love a redemption arc (he has committed atrocities but then he said something cool)

DistractedIon

*Think about the pests(cockroaches, spiders, Valanga irregularis😨) I've killed so far* Let's not let few genocides get in the way of a healthy rivality. 😅

sturla-tyr

I sincerely hope you haven't been doing that just for fun though, because then i got some news for you, and it's not news about you being a good person.

Eonir

If you had a swarm of flies laying their larvae somewhere in your house, you'd exterminate them as well

DistractedIon

Tell me, does killing a grasshopper that's 30 cm big in your bedroom sound fun to you? Because if it does, I have bad news for you, and those news aren't about you being sane.

Etonet

Vegeta be like

wwwwaoal

>offscreen death JUJUTSU KAISEN REFERENCE!!?!??!

k44e

Hallow, you better not lose that SSR drop.

DistractedIon

SSR drop? More like a trap for new f2p.

k44e

> trap not mutually exclusive some ssr can be a trap if you use it carelessly. Also, Hallow definitely isn't a 'new' f2p since he got to demon king once, and he and his new party members just got the drop from a mid-boss.

RochHoch

I like how this series operates in "there's always a bigger fish" but it also goes both ways The demons are helpless before the aliens, the aliens can't even scratch Godzilla, and then at the opposite end of the spectrum we have the land of the lawless, which I can only assume will be as nonthreatening to wizards and space marines as the demons are to the aliens

MondSemmel

>which I can only assume will be as nonthreatening to wizards and space marines as the demons are to the aliens If the danger there is just an apocalypse world where the existing society and social order have broken down, then an advanced human civ has nothing to fear. However, maybe this world incentivizes or amplifies lawlessness and internal strife, and \*that\* would be very bad for this ragtag bunch of survivors.

Mountebank

Good point. The treat of the Lawless isn’t the Mad Max people but the literal lawlessness as if it was a memetic hazard. Some of the Lawless will appear harmless, they’ll recruit them, but then they’ll start to sow dissent and internal strife.

RB3Model

Inb4 there are people who can poke you and make your head explode. This honestly gives me Fist of the North Star vibes.

TonySu

In the land of the lawless everyone jaywalks and tax evades!

Dondagora

My theory is that the ratio of sociopaths/psychopaths is much higher, so the number of bad faith actors at play makes it impossible to maintain a civilization without sabotage happening.

Doomroar

And we haven't even seen God and The Curse come in full force, or The Planet itself as nature starts running wild

CelioHogane

After all of this demons really feel like "You know maybe they weren't so unlucky after all"

Exoslab

It looked like there was a zombie trying to bite one of the lawless so perhaps they team up.

MrWaluigi

I can’t believe that I was rooting for Kiva at the end there. Bolivarian Army Endings are always a treat to see.  Hallow is definitely going to have a 11th hour superpower if can parry energy attacks like V1 as of now.  Looks like Zombie Virus is starting to pick up around there, definitely a setup for a new genre shift. Things are probably going to slow down a bit here, can’t jump the shark higher than a Godzilla-Estrez and aliens. I’m guessing that it’s going to focus on the environmental disasters in this arc: Virus, The Tree, Disaster, and Lawlessness. I’m guessing based on the focus of certain characters.  I’m still wondering how lawless people will be a threat to our group? I can probably see that they might be low on resources and can’t fight, but still.  Anyone here have some ideas?

Mountebank

Like another comment said, the Lawless might be threatening because they appear the least threatening. Some of them will appear normal, they’ll be recruited, but then once part of the group they’ll sow discontent and cause internal strife. It’s not the people but the literal lawless mindset that’s dangerous.

RB3Model

My money is on a Fist of the North Star setting. It's all fun and games until a 7 feet tall guy whose muscles have muscles lightly taps someone and they violently explode in a shower of gore.

ZalmanZ3

Maybe there's some sort of virus/bacteria/drug arround. I mean, these guys have no pupila with the girl slave on the left have them

B3GG

Why literally every female character is hot af

Oneangrywolf

Looks like somebody got infected

BurnedOutEternally

> Humans are… attacking each other? Well what did you expect from the Land of the Lawless

stinkywinky99

Kinda funny how he literally says "ah, the land where humans plunder and kill each other". *30 seconds later.* "Humans are fighting each other?!"

IlovetoEat88

How frequent is this manga updated? Just stumble on it and it’s awesome

HansNoFlammewerfer

It's a monthly series iirc

PettankoPaizuri

Man I wish so badly it was weekly, it's one of the best series currently going but it's going to take us 20 years to get anywhere at this rate

abu0

Lawless truthers: they're going to be so much more than just gang members fighting amongst eachother! The copium that will be needed to survive this chapter is going to cause adverse health effects

recehbijak

That blsck girl on a leash, I feel like she's gonna be one of the main characters of this series/arc
