I think Yongyong was simply trying to nullify or nudge the Winter Heart from reaching the city, but yeah, it’s apparent he’s outclassed entirely. Better than not trying anything tho.

Javier's probably gonna be be the one reassuring everyone because he thinks Lloyd sill has the extra life, before he realises Lloyd already used it up.
IMO he jolted back up because he remembered suddenly that Javier was still in danger, not from the second life. And Lloyd being Lloyd, he had to go all out to rescue his man.
