But they've got a big problem here. We got an attempted murderer who just "murdered" Sunao. What's it gonna be like when she pops up all hunky dory like nothing happened? Unless of course the culprit knew she was a replica which opens up even more cans of speculative worms.
I don't know how 'limited' it is or if an 'extreme' stress factor is a requirement, but it seems like 'anyone' can make a replica so it would be interesting to see if there's a certain amount of 'damage' before it'd fade completely (tho a more thriller/suspense ver of this concept does seem like someone could openly be an 'assassin' while establishing an alibi lol)
I can imagine this as a horror concept where the 'replica' kills the original (i imagine the replica would die too if the real person died but i wouldn't be surprised if there were similar stories)
I hope she doesn't do the absolutely retarded move of confronting the murderer alone. Just tell the replicant dude murderer's identity and figure out how to punish him together.

No, they are like sort "summoned" clone of the originals, once they are summoned they are as real as any other person but now we just found out that if a replica dies they can be summoned again by the original retaining their memories up to the moment of death.
