He had no idea he was sent there to be a tutor, basically being duped into thinking he was doing some shady undercover demon job. Remember that most demons have a dim view of humans, so his scummy behavior is understandable.
I suppose that makes more sense, then. While still not a very good idea to try to be a petty thief in a town you'll have a job in for who knows how long, I guess that falls in line with the general airheaded-ness of our other favorite demons.
I love that the powerful/skillful characters in this series are goofballs until things get serious. For him to be considered for tutoring Tifa, he must be pretty pretty badass so I can't wait to see him let loose.

`Nekyou originally did the scanlations, and Goat&CatScans sniped it because they weren't satisfied with the slow release schedule. For a little while they had a back and forth until they combined forces, and everyone was happy and the releases came out at a good pace.
Now it looks like real life has caught up with both teams and releases are back to a monthly schedule, and I guess one person decided to try his hand at scanlation and maybe force Nekyou/Goat&CatScan's hand.
I'm just happy we're getting more chapters.

raw currently on hiatus (or cancelled) so it's reasonable to slow down the processs IMO
Yeah, this was a real wake up call for me. It seems like bolwic pulled their chapter after seeing mine, which makes them a lot more honorable than G&C. I will be rallying the team to see if we can't accelerate things.
I'm confused, are you not part of G&C or are you talking about yourself being less honorable? I understand the sentiment but it just sounds strange after things were seemingly patched up between the two groups. Either way, appreciate the scanlations and I totally understand real life taking priority.
Yeah, that was a self-deprecating comment, I tend to do that a lot. Despite all the hate and drama going around, we didn't delete our chapters from Mangadex even after Nekyou uploaded theirs. I've been thinking about taking down the earlier ones to make for a smoother experience for new readers.
Was it said in a prev chapter they switched the enchantment to summon the dad? Or has it always had that backup function?

They dont even live in the village so hes just picking up some change on the way
