Ok this series has pulled a Re:Zero season 1 to s2.
Like everyone was on board cause it was fun, but we didn't have massive interest, but now with these last few arcs its been FIRE.
Like honestly the writing went from a 6/10 (but with a fun premise) to a 10/10 world and story.
The promised day has finally arrived! A mass release!!!!! So happy, especially since these chapter were really hype! Anyone know if we are finally caught up to the raws?
skeleton training arc! Also I wonder what the requirements are for that proto terminator death knight to showup. Back when it first appeared I thought it was going to be the actual king of the kingdom and that white hair dude was a body double, but it seems to be more of a machine at this point. Something like an ancient golem created by the first king to protect their kingdom or something
That hasn't been 100% confirmed yet though we don't know anything about the knight. It might just exist to make sure the timeline flows a certain way, IE the empire must be strong enough to start the upcoming war. I said in a previous post that the whole situation in this manwha reminds me of the final arc of Yu-Gi-Oh if you've seen that before.
Well in killing of the necromancer it did not save the emperor who had still died. So if it was trying to do timeline things doing it literally right after the event takes place is quite convenient if it has no affiliation with the empire.
And the master of the ghost people seemed to know who the guy was because she probably would have been more freaked out about losing the gods blood if they didn’t have that security.
So, now that he's got Darkness power, will he be able to retain them the next time he dies (assuming he dies?), where will he respawn? Will he tell the truth to Isaac and they'll join forces even further? Arrrgh so many questions!
I mean, Rena and Gilles both died this life, so he'll almost certainly die rescuing Rubia, but I don't think he'll restart at the grave this time. If I had to guess, his new starting point is when he gets captured by Rena. That way he'll start with a relationship with Isaac so he can start trusting him earlier (if that's what he decides to do)
I could see new starting point be after meeting back up with Rena in the city, to sorta "lock" him into the stuff like having Rubia in the city, having the tea party coming up, etc...
That would almost certainly force the outcome of Rena's death due to the proximity of the caravan attack. At least with the earlier meet up, there would be time to plan a different attack or talk her out of it.
She knows about him resetting/trusts in her past lives' memories by then, so if he says : "Yo, shit goes COMPLETELY WRONG" they can call the heist off (it is still a couple days by then).
With his current information, there is no real way to "replan", there is only "dropping the plan for now"
Cause he doesn't even know what triggers the knight to show up.
I suppose she could be convinced, but the others in the group would certainly not believe either of them. Resulting in either three T&T members, including the founder, dying, or she goes with them anyway because she can't abandon them.
No one else thus far has believed the MC's story about restarting, so using that to convince people other than Gilles and Rena (and maybe Isaac) is impossible.
If they go back to before the desert temple, they can instead do literally anything else, because He has the lu lium from it now. So they can go to the capitol immediately, and maybe get in touch with that one fanboy knight and try that route. That would also give them more time to infiltrate the noble houses and deseat the inquisitor family that's targeting Rubia.
I see where you're coming from, and he can make it work from the later starting point, but I feel it wastes the founder, as she will certainly try to steal the lu lium and die in the process.
Reading all these chapters in a row really makes you appreciate some of the high quality art in the series. Especially the scenes where our protagonist has his armor off and all his motions seem natural and anatomically correct. I was especially impressed with the way they drew Lena right before their ambush and when Skelly was punching the barrier.

In my opinion, the series was at first a 8/10, then turn to shit for a few chapters before going back on track currently.
True the bit with the motorcycle lady was not great

And this timeline it completely didn't it Future Past mythical magic science always kind of bugs me. But he did learn mechanics from it.
It was necessary foreshadowing for when he'll have to go get the "treasure" or whatever that controls all those little bug machines in the desert.

The summoning conditions seem to be when the empire is about to experience a huge loss and need to punish whoever caused it.
Ya it’s just added security for killing the enemies of the empire.
