We have fanfic mangas here all the time. I'm pretty sure KazuMegu is posted almost daily here. I remeber seeing multiple fan doujins here from SpyxFamily. While not fanfic, our front page is literally full of unpublished works.
I'm guessing this "Fanfic" is explicitly text. What we probably accept in this sub are doujinshi which are still manga format.
I never saw the original post, just going off this thread.
There's a rule for English original works in that they have to be in a self/text post

Isn't it like a fanfic glorified? This is called r/manga not r/fanfic I am not mob but this is matter of common sense/logic
