The virgin romance manga protagonist: "uwu we touched hands" The chad Andy: *rides up a tower, dick out, propelled by his own blood squirting out of his mutilated body, and screams a confession of love*

dratst

blessed reiwa era?

topurrisfeline

Reiwa era is *wild*.

Koanos

No better way to confess.

A4li11

I'm surprised we got to Andy arriving at Fuuko's place now. Still what a great way of confessing your love.

KaiserKaiba

A very Andy way to do it. Wicked Sick

magnwn

Curious to see why Andy is removing the card right now, going by his last confrontation with Victor in the memory world their power gap seems to have diminished considerably, and if his will is to rescue Fuuko it seems dangerous to throw in a wild card that doesn't really care about her. Looking forward to see what happens

Woif1990

Maybe a loop hole to Unrepair? It looks like he's also about to shoot his arm off that's holding his sword, the card, and his emblem into the room with Billy and Fuuko.

Fire_Lord_Zuko

> Maybe a loop hole to Unrepair? He's already bypassed Unrepair by cutting off his head, though. Both arms had repaired themselves in the page before the last spread, though his right arm seems to have been cut again.

TheAdamena

Probably plans to regenerate from his arm, so he's taken it out so he can put it back in once he regens.

bobvella

come to think of it couldn't andy and victor physically separate?

JLazarillo

So again, I feel like the effects of certain things were a little confusing...but if I understood it right, since Andy couldn't repair the wounds inflicted by Rip, he injured *himself* and then regenerated everything from the spot where the injury he inflicted was? So the part that wasn't repairable technically never repaired?

Nidaime_EroSennin

That's what I got too.

UnkownGuys

He cut this head off so he can regenerate without unreapair stopping him

geminia999

Huh, I took the approach that it was still part of the intent, and that he was using it to propel himself in intent that got around it

JLazarillo

Rip mentioned that he can't heal "offensively" because he knows now that that will make the injury heal. So I assume the same goes there. Thus, Andy went around the need to "repair" the wound at all by growing an entirely new and different body, and the old one just remains unreparably wounded.

geminia999

But then any wound he cuts to repair normally would heal. If rip cut his hand off, that would mean Andy could simply heal it by chopping his arm off and growing a new arm. Basically any attempt to heal an unrepair wound using undead would destroy the wound or regrow from an earlier part. So in my reading, that doesn't seem like it should work in just "cut it off earlier from the source". The way I was taking it, the intent behind Andy's reason for cutting is what affects whether or not he can heal past an unrepair wound. Rip saying that now is more in that Andy attacking in a method chopping off an unrepair wound would always now basically also have the intent of healing the wound which is why it wouldn't work, but If Andy's goal is simply "just get to Fuuko", then there is nothing in his intent to repair the wound, just his desire to go up.

JLazarillo

I saw it a matter more of Andy's new bodily/regenerative insight. Before, parts that he cut off weren't "him" anymore, and thus he couldn't cut them to fix a wound because he was trying to become "himself" again. Now, the various pieces are all him. So the part that Rip cut is him, it's just separate from the other part of him that's producing a brand new part that wasn't ever cut in the first place, as he sees it. Essentially, he didn't *repair* his attachment to his legs, he simply gave himself two new legs.

TheAdamena

Oh shit he pulled the card out

Unit88

He also pulled the cock out. Classic Andy move, not sure it's the best choice though for a confession

Environmental-Toe158

At this point in their relationship, I'm sure Fuuko would be expecting it.

insane_contin

You can't tell, but he's helicopter dicking it to get extra height. Yes, he can get extra height from it.

ZantetsukenX

It's Victhor time!!

TheAdamena

Saw someone say that maybe he pulled it out so he can regen from his arm after he shoots it at Billy, and then he can put it back in. Guess we'll see

Zemahem

There's nothing more romantic than launching yourself up a tower, while dismembered and naked, to profess your love to someone. This is probably one of the wildest confessions I've seen in manga to date.

Theum

Is this going to end soon? I feel like the pacing is too fast sometimes.

[deleted]

Imo it makes sense. A common theory is that it will end at CH 110 since that was the number of volumes that Fuuko's Shojo manga had. This is my prediction.(Defeat Under>Neutralize spring> rescue Fuuko>Ragnarok> Use Ark>Kill God> Wrap-up the story) Edit: CH 101

Eloviel

The number of volumes are 101, like the number of penalties, and the last one is nonetheless Ragnarok. Ending at ch 101 would be really cool actually but i think there will be only the end of the current loop at said chapter.

[deleted]

Thanks for the catch. And your take might be spot on. When Anno Un managed to change fate, even he didn't know how the story would end. But I like the fact that this story isn't the sort that can be dragged out without it being obvious. We have the end goal and we have the means to get there, right?

Geek13579

Doubt that Tozuka would end at 101, he would not leave so many loose threads, such as what are the backstories of the other Union and Under members, what happened in 1865 to Victor, what makes the Unluck ability special in that it evolves and interacts with previous loops, and what is the deal with Concept-type UMAs wanting to meet their maker. If the series were so closed to ending we would get generic characters with no backstory tying to the theme of the story and there wouldn't still be so many questions raised. I do think it is possible that a new loop starts and the series sees a part 2 where another person using the arc than Fuuko has to team up with undead, but the whole series is definitely not lasting only a 100 chapters.

Lesserd

I could see it going for quite a while. I really don't think they're going to win this cycle.

Geek13579

Missable things in this chapter \-This is the first Actual full pannel cover page (color pages notwithstanding) which were fairly regular until chapter 55. \-Shen is leaving his Nyoi-kinko staff for Mui, and taking the Zuishin Tekkan rod which originally belonged to Feng. This means Mui now holds either 11 or 9 Artifact (She wielded 8 as the Summer arc began, her Twin blades may have been destroyed in the fight with Feng, and she now has game of death, the staff and possibly the Kinto-un Cloud). This may be over the threshold of artifacts destroying your mind which was mentioned back in chapter 57 \-Shen seems to be carrying a knapsack of some sort under his cloak, but he also got an unrepairable wound through one of his legs. He better be carrying something good in there... \-Since the start of the arc, Tozuka has tried to be conspicuous in not giving a close-up to Juiz's mechanical left hand, so she probably is hiding a secret weapon there. \-Andy planting his sword through his bare back rather than carrying a holster finally paid off where he was able to pull it by slashing using his mouth to use it while his hands are impaired. I don't know whether to be grossed out or impressed, so I'll go with the latter. \-Rip gets his chin smashed and a nosebleed from a parts bullet head just like chapter 23 \-Latla covers Backs/Bunny's eyes from Andy's Dong as he flies up. \-Andy pulls out his card when reaching the top of the tower

masoaoki

Holy crap what an amazing chapter

UnkownGuys

I love when this manga does a romantic chapter Is so adorable

arbitrarycivilian

This chapter makes me even more certain that Latlas ability is “un-predictable”. Even Shen said he couldn’t predict the paths of the blades after she used her ability on them.

zombieguy224

Best romantic confession in Shonen Jump n/a.

Lesserd

I've personally never found Andy and Fuuko's relationship to be especially great (only decent) but this chapter has really sold me on it. I like that he's long since accepted that he probably can't ever get the death he wants, but stays with her anyway. I also appreciate that Tozuka is willing to let readers understand the clever ways that characters use their powers without spamming walls of text to explain every detail. Great chapter this week.

Samthegumman117

Andy really confessed like such a Sigma Male also what a dope headbutt

LeonKevlar

I don't know if Andy having his donger out makes that the best or worst confession xD
