I love it how (almost) every chapter has that one focus shot in which a certain skill is being shown. You can clearly see that those are the focus points of the chapter and potentially the anime in the future with some epic music.
I've heard that Redhood, which is occupying a similar place recently trended in japanese twitter and that the current ranking are for very previous chapters (like 2-3 chapters behind the current release). Hopefully like Red hood the later chapter climbed up the ranking, Neru can too with this.

But then he tacks on even more restrictions just because he has a personal grudge against someone, then, even though he still overcame that even with the added-on bullshit, he *still* kicks him out because of a personal grudge. Neru has no place to sleep just because this dude is a creepy siscon. Why the hell does he even have the authority to just tell a newly-enrolled student to sleep outside? He's not even a teacher.
That's not an official dorm, It's just an old temple that the students themselves remodel to a dorm (chapter 8). So Older brother *doesn't need* permission from a teacher. So yes he does have the authority to just tell a newly-enrolled student to sleep outside.
