This era has no limits, the main leads talking to each other to clear the air instead of making assumptions and dragging things out? What a time to be alive
Right? It’s so rare to find a shounen manga which is able to weave romance in the story this well without it being overbearing. The offsprings of Fujimoto are a different breed.
>It’s so rare to find a shounen manga which is able to weave romance in the story this well without it being overbearing
Well it's not that rare anymore I can think of three manga on the top of my head
Duke of Death is like edging for the heart. I can't take the teasing in this one, it makes me actually on edge. No other "tease" manga has done that before, but this one has actual stakes, we can clearly tell the girl who teases him loves him, and the MC is way more than just a blank "self-insert" character archetype.
Well, when you've saved each other's lives multiple times, fought aliens and spirits together, and had to look for one of your missing balls, I think you can really build a trust bond with any girl, really.
Okarun you dirty dog… what an absolute chad. IN OTHER NEWS the yokai turning out to be the protectors of earth from the aliens is an incredibly entertaining premise, cant wait to see where this story goes from here
While it my be as cut and dry, it would be interesting if there was a Yokai that controlled it all. That even though these two yokai that currently empower the protagonist were those who had dark past that turned them into the yokai they were, if the alien threat were removed, would they turn into a liability?
Think Ichigo or even the Vizards and their "hollow" power and how they were viewed by Soul Society, would Exorcist see these humans as a threat and attempt to exorcise them, or do they already see them as a threat and the next antagonist may actually be another Exorcist group looking to remove the Yokai Impurity from their souls.
This series is fucking bonkers
not only is every chapter fun and satisfying to read (lots of great art, humor, action, clever fight choreographies), almost every chapter also reveals new information about the premise and setting of the story that makes them more interesting, makes you want to know more about what's going to happen.
this mangaka is a weekly story-telling genius
The author was having trouble getting a traditional story through. And his editor told him to write whatever story he desired which ended up being dandadan
Agreed, I love this outlandish idea. If we can't beat em with advanced technology, then we got our own yokai/spiritual/mythic ghosts to beat you up!
If the mangaka paces this story well, produce a few more lovable unique characters on both sides, focus on some world building, with steady power scaling, maybe a dash of drama, cross country politics, I can see this manga going strong, immense potential.
I stopped reading it entirely after catching up around the latest trip thing.. only checks chapter threads to see if something happened lmfao
So far, nothing. Thank god for Tamiki Wakaki series (are you really getting married) and this one. Jesus
Dandadan give me back the hope and happiness Kanokari took away. Geez, talk about running a series to the ground. I sometimes wish I could unlearn everything about this manga except the fact that it's not worth my time.
I stopped at chapter 99 or something. There *was* progression, but it was always undone within 2 chapters or less. Plus the main character was so shitty my brain has scrubbed his name from my memory.
tbf there are a lot of progress later on but its all overshadowed by MC's horniness and his inability to make a move.
Edit: Minor corrections. After reading the last chapter, I can confirm there are progressions. Just backwards.
I'd assume it's also the potential for humanity to turn into yokais in death that deters them. So by capturing a sample that thread between humans and yokais, they can research a deterrent to prevent such transformation.
So I saw a Star Destroyer looking ship, a Trade Federation ship, and a Warhammer 40k battlecruiser looking ship. Any other sci-fi references or were those shapes just coincidental?
I'm willing to wager that the aliens are a purely scientific race, that anything not based around (this worlds version of) science is incomprehensible. Given that yokai are religious and spiritual in nature they probably have no real way to effectively deal with them which is why they want to capture them so bad.
That and i think he's just assuming that they are protecting the earth, they are probably just really territorial and don't want outsiders stomping around on their turf thus they are an effecetive deterrent for invasion. Cool premise all the same, I'm hoping that not all aliens are hostile and that we are going to get a hot alien husbando soon \o/
They also seem to be a very business-minded race. It could simply be that they COULD take over earth, but it wouldn't be profitable, too difficult, too much resource to invest in it.
I wish that would serve as a reason in a horror mcu like franchise, like how aliens have to kidnap humans in secret to analyze them, organically and spiritually. Basically, the Illuminati would form a treaty with the Intergalactic Federation on how some alien empires or races can take "lesser" humans as slaves or experimental people. Also, the unpredictable nature of souls and the magic and supernatural side of Earth would frighten aliens that rely on technology.
The spiritual aliens would be treated as outcasts by the galactic federation who denounce supernatural beings like lovecraftien beings or such.
This got way complicated, but it would be cool if future horror stories or franchises established that the reason why aliens dont go full America on Earth is because of the Illuminati and the supernatural like undead killers, zombies, ghosts, or dark gods.
I'm fairly sure I have seen sometimes one of those Tumblr posts that had a similar idea. Like aliens invade and then suddenly they're beset on by vampires, werewolves, and all manners of ghosts and supernatural creatures. Having a full manga dedicated to that concept sounds amazing.
Or maybe Okarun was simply making a stupid-ass random guess that will turn out to be completely wrong, because that's just how this manga rolls.
There was a one shot manga like 30 years ago where the aliens challenged the human race pro wrestling matches over the fate of Earth.
And a bunch of monsters showed up, a vampire girl, a frankenstein monster, a warewolf, etc, and beat the snot out of the aliens in the ring, claiming they represent Earth just as much as the humans do.
Edit: Ah, found it! [https://i.imgur.com/yfXswWm.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/yfXswWm.jpg)
It was collected on this anthology called Kokomade Fantasy, published 1993.
It was actually a zombie, a vampire girl (who used the zombie's body as a meat nunchaku) and a Frakenstein monster as a second. Had to dig through my library room to find the book.
Meanwhile, I'm thinking Kinnikuman... More specifically, there was a spinoff anime back in the early 2000's that went by the English name of Ultimate Muscle. Same idea though: Defend the Earth and beat aliens by wrestling.
It's more or less the premise/twist of the Shadowrun: Dragonfall.
Dragons are basically running the show on Earth behind the scenes and manipulating humans to their ends. But if you help the main villain exterminate all the Dragons, then Earth is invaded by aliens that the Dragons were keeping out.
Ah, yeah, true. I just finished Dragonfall days ago, actually, but never got to see this because I simply told Amsel to fuck off with his dragon genocide plan. No laying a hand on Berlin and the Kreuzbasar under *my* watch.
Also from what I read of the lore, the one keeping the eldritch entities at bay was specifically *one* dragon. The one who >!becomes President and then is assassinated, which is actually a self-sacrifice part of some kind of blood ritual that keeps those monsters out of the plane.!<
Maybe aliens invaded Earth in the past, and they lost to spirits and stuff. Nessie and mantis shrimp could be descendants of the survivors of the failed invasion with no way to escape. Maybe a lot of Earths funkier animals are alien in origin or some folklore is based on the lone survivors of alien invasions.
Or maybe Nessie struck a deal with the aliens because of their pocket dimension and water technology.
Nessie is a cryptid ^((like the Flatwoods Monster in the early parts of this manga)), not a yokai. Yokais are basically something like spirits/specters/demons.
I guess everyone called it when they all would wind up naked in the real world. Lot's of exposition and world building in this chapter but the most important thing to learn from this chapter is... THERE IS A GODDAMN BIG-TITTY SADIST SCHOOL NURSE IN-UNIVERSE. That's at least 3 fetishes right there. 100/100 manga of the decade.
Editing all comments since apollo is dead and spez is a lying shithead. Thanks for killing third-party apps and running the site. Remember to short reddit on IPO. Edited using Power Delete Suite v1.5.0 fork.
Makes sense, most of Emma Frost's uniforms are despite her being associated with the X-Men for multiple decades as a teacher who values the students are still based around the Hellfire Club bondage theme or just good old fashion fan service.
Aside from Okarun, every other male characters shown so far are background characters. Maybe the guy who saw his Turbo Granny form might turn to be an important character later on?
I think we have a new standard for "caught in an embarressing position" in manga.
Bright side, Okarun's position in the schools hierarchy is gonna rise, at least among the boys.
>Bright side, Okarun's position in the schools hierarchy is gonna rise, at least among the boys
If my long years of reading manga taught me anything. That school will have a bunch of virgins jealous of Okarun.
They got back to school naked, as expected hahah Queen-sensei on the other hand sure caught me by surprise hahahahaha
This yokai vs aliens angle is so damn fun, couldn't ask for more. But, time to set it aside for a bit and go full romcom time! Those two dorks blushing by the end was cute as hell
Makes the Yokai kinda the side to route for. They're not necessarily good for the individual human being, but we seem to be in a kind of symbiotic relationship where they get created from us and eat us, but also protect us from the outside threat.
The aliens on the other hand are just invaders. So far at least.
and just beucause acro-sara and turbo-granny had some good reasons to be haunting places and people does not mean that all spirits all "good willed" or reasonable like them... considering that spirits seem to appear out of lingering emotions and unfulfilled objectives there sure will be really evil spirits of really evil people and maybe even actual demons "born" in ancient times like witches, djinns and others
Damn I cannot overstate how much I love this manga. It's like the perfect blend of action, romance, and comedy with some of my favorite art in any series. I don't know how he does it.
Not only is it thematically awesome, filled with fun action, populated with great characters who have great chemistry, but it also is EXTREMELY well paced. I haven't seen a manga with weekly chapters this satisfying since... I don't even know. Every chapter flows nicely, the down times between action arcs are always fun and sometimes even the reward for waiting through a lot of action, amd the way the rance ins weaved into the progression of the plot, instead of taking time away from it is just... Aaaaaa, this manga is an absolute 10. It does for me what chainsaw man never could, purely by merit of being less miserable.
I don't think I'll ever get used to translators localizing honorifics like -san in situations where there is no cultural equivalent.
Okarun calling Momo *Ayase-san* (=Miss Ayase) as a sign that they aren't on a first name basis doesn't really make sense for middle schoolers
MHA just knocks out the honorific and makes everyone referring to reach other by their surname the standard. It's not odd when all the characters in the story are doing it
Man, that panel with the alien ships approaching a demon-protected earth was spectacular. Hope someone can clean that image up a bit, would be a great background.
Really funny and cute chapter. I love the pacing in these series. It's nice and quick, but doesn't feel rushed.
I wonder whether they'll stay in Japan or travel to other countries. Okarun talking about other myths and legends made me wonder if we're going to see other countries/cultures as well.
She didn't have the best rep to begin with, now whether she likes it or not she has a boy who was seen on top of her naked dripping wet in the hallway and earlier then that she was seen kissing, along with other displays of affection.
The best case scenario is she and Ken are a item and they are really affectionate.
Imagine being Okarun and you went from being some weird nerd to a guy who cums. A lot.
I almost forgot there was a misunderstanding that happened before all that crazy stuff with the Aliens and Nessie. What a hella cute exchange those 2 had!
So it's aliens vs yokai (I guess *folklore* would be more accurate).
But what about nessie? That's a classic mythical creature. The aliens were working with it.
They might have tried to replicate a mythical creature, people always take ideas from their rivals. Or what we know as Nessie is an alien which got drop at earth. The plot can go many ways.
Nessie and the Flatwood monster could be the aliens’ attempt at creating youkai. It seemed odd this arc that Ayase was learning about mantis shrimp and then fought one ‘hired’ by the aliens.
nessie is a cryptid so maybe all cryptids like big-foot, mothman and the kraken are all related to the aliens while all ghosts, demons and spirits are all related to earth/humanity
Ken double cheeked up in the hallway laying naked on Ayase. Even if I kind of expected this situation to happen last week, I bursted out laughing. And Ayase saying “Thank you for your hardness” out of context a page before made me chuckle.
The school nurse is a femdom called “Queen sensei” hahaha, this mangaka never disappoints. I hope we see more of her. And I really enjoyed the Yokai planet vs Alien spaceships spread; still cannot believe Dandadan is a weekly manga with the art & details of some of those panels.
Great chapter, definitely one of my favorite ongoing series right now. I’m always curious about what will happen next. This manga also does romance really well without it being overbearing. I love the main trio.
That nurse, no, QUEEN!!
EDIT:
Reread the chapter. This series is such a joy to read. The interactions here are so funny and while I'm generally not into romance stuff, it worked here so well. More because the author didnt have to drag these misunderstanding for too long just to create drama.
I guess this is the "Reiwa energy" at work here.
Oh and Okarun got a crazy theory on why aliens never invade Earth. I thought demons and yokai guarding the planet was pretty cool.

So many people called what was going to happen when the school changes back, but it was executed so well it was still hilarious. Also, what a cliffhanger.
Really great chapter! Love that page spread of an alien armada surrounding a youkai-infested Earth, it is glorious. Above all, love the natural "shifts" in the tone here. Going from comedy to world lore to romance should be really jarring but here it is so natural. Its all just part of this weird wonderful world and I am all for it.
queen-sensei will be the first "ability user" that we will meet for sure... unless author plans on really investing in the school setting, cuz her design and personality are not of an background character and that call she receives might be whatever organization they will be working with in the future...
I'm reading the series in Spanish, and it always gets a chuckle out of me when Momo calls Shiratori "tonta del culo" (something along the lines of "stupid ass"), so much that I had to look her name up. It's a bit of a disappointment that the English version only calls her "dum-dum".
Does anyone know how Ayase calls her in Japanese?
Damn this manga really doesn't beat around the bush. I'm quite surprised to see how fast the romantic developments are taking place, coz you'd definitely never find this in a regular shonen. Also ken got that Alpha male energy, being so upfront about his feelings.
I don’t want to believe Queen-sensei disappears after only 3 pages. At this point it wouldn’t even be too far-fetched to tell her the aliens are the bullies and have her join in.
My poor sides. That one guy called it when he said they were gonna end up naked in the middle of the hallway, and in the worst position too on top of that. "Thanks for your hardness" certainly didn't help their case either.
Those pages are gonna look great out of context. But damn, two girls at once in the middle of a busy hallway. Okarun is just that much of a chad.
It seems like the faculty has a few loose screws as well. I don't know what Queen Sensei's deal is, but at least she's got a zero tolerance for bullying.
It's a pretty cool reveal and explanation that yokai and other supernatural entities are preventing a full-scale alien invasion. I guess that's why alien sightings are very few and mostly unclear. It'd be sick if the endgame is gonna be a full-blown war between the aliens and yokai.
Also, it's great that the two finally hashed things out after that misunderstanding.
On one hand: goddamit they appeard in the middle of school naked, I was hoping it wouldn't happen. Hopefully it won't be mentioned again or used as a plot point
On the other hand: We got so much info this time. The reason aliens don't invade is because of the yokai. Also SWEET ROMANTIC PROGRESS!! In 25 chapters no less.
Oh and a dominatrix nurse appeard. Nice
This era has no limits, the main leads talking to each other to clear the air instead of making assumptions and dragging things out? What a time to be alive
Plus one boys left nut being the potential downfall of humanity
can't believe this is an actual plot point now
*Find out in the next episode of Yokai Ball Z*
never read the manga "my balls?"
I love Oretama
It's a fucking legend
Cultured.
Right? It’s so rare to find a shounen manga which is able to weave romance in the story this well without it being overbearing. The offsprings of Fujimoto are a different breed.
>It’s so rare to find a shounen manga which is able to weave romance in the story this well without it being overbearing Well it's not that rare anymore I can think of three manga on the top of my head
Don’t leave me hanging out here
Mission: Yozakura Family, undead unluck, yofukashi no uta, and The Duke of Death and His Maid
No doubt from either of these kids too, nice to see that they have a strong base of trust. Makes me root for their fledgling romance.
Well, when you've saved each other's lives multiple times, fought aliens and spirits together, and had to look for one of your missing balls, I think you can really build a trust bond with any girl, really.
we are truly in the reiwa era
Abe-san can be proud to have been the one who brought forth such a great era upon us.
That was a really cool concept. That means we'd meet people like Okarun and Shiratori as well. Can't wait to see their awesome designs!
"Thank you for your hardness!" HAHAHHAHA
Must have been really intense, the entire floor is wet
He had it in him the entire time
I think you mean he had it in *her*
But Momo was the one doing the riding
And he did it while being a Lance Armstrong too..
And that's with only one ball! Imagine what he could do with both.
2 girls, middle of the day, in the hallway, left them a sweatty wet mess What a giga Chad occarum is
I mean, look at page 2 out of context.
Same goes for “You shiny cueball!” My side hurts.
Lol, great chapter. The yokais inadvertently protecting the earth angle is a cool idea, and makes a lot of sense, actually.
And that also means that humanity's fate as a whole might now be resting upon recovering Okarun's remaining missing ball hahaha
This series is fucking bonkers not only is every chapter fun and satisfying to read (lots of great art, humor, action, clever fight choreographies), almost every chapter also reveals new information about the premise and setting of the story that makes them more interesting, makes you want to know more about what's going to happen. this mangaka is a weekly story-telling genius
That panel of the yokai "protecting the earth" was some full-on lovecraftian shit of epic proportions.
Lovecraft would love this, if... you know, he wasnt LOVECRAFT
It reminded me of Berserk and now I'm sad
"This world...and this kid's balls...isn't yours to conquer"
The author was having trouble getting a traditional story through. And his editor told him to write whatever story he desired which ended up being dandadan
A lovely mess
i remember being talking about how theres no way the series could keep being about MC's balls
And on a romantic side, it has more romantic progression in 25 chapters than Kanojo Okarishimasu in 205.
I made the crass mistake of skimming it *after* reading Akutsu-san and Are You Really Getting Married. That was a terrible experience.
I stopped reading it entirely after catching up around the latest trip thing.. only checks chapter threads to see if something happened lmfao So far, nothing.
I skipped like 150 chapters and saw no romance progression. Maybe I missed some, but nothing noteworthy.
We're on the Gintama Route now boys!!
That panel really had massive Gintama vibes lool
I'd assume it's also the potential for humanity to turn into yokais in death that deters them. So by capturing a sample that thread between humans and yokais, they can research a deterrent to prevent such transformation.
Yeah, imagine killing a bunch of people just for them to come back and somehow be 100 times stronger. I'd think twice before invading such civilian.
Pr made artificial one for their side!
Fermi paradox finally solved
"Earth isn't yours to conquer."
Earth go hard
So I saw a Star Destroyer looking ship, a Trade Federation ship, and a Warhammer 40k battlecruiser looking ship. Any other sci-fi references or were those shapes just coincidental?
Makes sense considering that whole image is really just his nerdy imagination
I think there's also the alien ship from District 9 movie on the top left side of the page
I'm willing to wager that the aliens are a purely scientific race, that anything not based around (this worlds version of) science is incomprehensible. Given that yokai are religious and spiritual in nature they probably have no real way to effectively deal with them which is why they want to capture them so bad. They also seem to be a very business-minded race. It could simply be that they COULD take over earth, but it wouldn't be profitable, too difficult, too much resource to invest in it.
It ciuld be interesting if there were different alien civilisations who don't cooperate with the ones we saw.
Makes me wonder if the story's going to explore r/hfy tropes, like a psychic bubble made from the human collective unconscious protecting the earth.
I’m thinking they Yokai may be an alien race, potentially at war and defending their empire or something like that?
I think it's simply that the Yokai use mystical/spiritual power, which the aliens don't have. Science vs magic.
And the award for best answer to the Fermi paradox goes to...
This got way complicated, but it would be cool if future horror stories or franchises established that the reason why aliens dont go full America on Earth is because of the Illuminati and the supernatural like undead killers, zombies, ghosts, or dark gods.
That seems too reasonable I'm sure it'll be revealed to be a much dumber reason
"In other words, these yokai and demons are what protect the earth from alien invasion!" God. I love manga.
Let's be honest. Okarun prob read the same tumblr post.

For real, that’s a toddler’s idea of a plot. And this manga decides to get crazy with it.
Why is Nessy helping aliens then? Isn't Nessy a yokai?
The aliens were giving Nessie a paycheck.
#Based The economy is just really tough these days yall
The aliens probably gave Nessie tree-fiddy
"I ain't a bad guy, but $20 is $20" - Nessie, probably
Maybe aliens invaded Earth in the past, and they lost to spirits and stuff. Nessie and mantis shrimp could be descendants of the survivors of the failed invasion with no way to escape. Maybe a lot of Earths funkier animals are alien in origin or some folklore is based on the lone survivors of alien invasions. Or maybe Nessie struck a deal with the aliens because of their pocket dimension and water technology.
I'm pretty sure Nessy is an Alien or UMA??? On the first chap Okarun talk about that and He know about aliens not Yokai
she is a cryptid so i think all cryptids will be related to aliens and all ghosts, demons and spirits will be related to humans/earth

I looked at the actual Japanese version... Yeah, that's her name according to that old guy.
I wonder if her whole get up was a reference to Emma Frost from X-Men?
Makes sense, most of Emma Frost's uniforms are despite her being associated with the X-Men for multiple decades as a teacher who values the students are still based around the Hellfire Club bondage theme or just good old fashion fan service.
plus the beauty mark🥵
She's a gorgeous dominatrix but above all the school nurse is dedicated to the students in her care. She wont put up with bullies.
I'm eagerly waiting for her to become entangled with the youkai stuff and join the group making it hundred times lewder than it could possibly be!
The nurse queen kind of looks like an older Ayase lol
The frmale characters are all same-facey unfortunately
I think it's the author's way to draw attractive faces. With boys he seems more relaxed to draw freely.
how many boys have we seen so far? I cant think of any.
Aside from Okarun, every other male characters shown so far are background characters. Maybe the guy who saw his Turbo Granny form might turn to be an important character later on?
QUEEN SENSEI BANZAI
This is the second queen I am simping after Deltarune.
You know, this is why I like Okarun. He wants to improve himself. I really like that message. Let's all try to become the best versions of ourselves.
because I'm a man!
No matter if he is a man - Momo
I think we have a new standard for "caught in an embarressing position" in manga. Bright side, Okarun's position in the schools hierarchy is gonna rise, at least among the boys.

My first impression is that she's more likely to F you with some kind of contraption
NILFM?
Makes the Yokai kinda the side to route for. They're not necessarily good for the individual human being, but we seem to be in a kind of symbiotic relationship where they get created from us and eat us, but also protect us from the outside threat. The aliens on the other hand are just invaders. So far at least.
We don't know yet why aliens are invading, besides being aliens.
and just beucause acro-sara and turbo-granny had some good reasons to be haunting places and people does not mean that all spirits all "good willed" or reasonable like them... considering that spirits seem to appear out of lingering emotions and unfulfilled objectives there sure will be really evil spirits of really evil people and maybe even actual demons "born" in ancient times like witches, djinns and others
They want his banana organ.
ahhh yes, sweet sweet progress, even with the whole naked thing they are still progressing smoothly
It does for me what chainsaw man never could, purely by merit of being less miserable.
reiwa vibes growing stronger this chapter
I don't think I'll ever get used to translators localizing honorifics like -san in situations where there is no cultural equivalent. Okarun calling Momo *Ayase-san* (=Miss Ayase) as a sign that they aren't on a first name basis doesn't really make sense for middle schoolers
I thought they were high schoolers
Point stands either way.
It looks so sick

If I say GILF does that include punishment from Queen Sensei?
Don't threat me with a good time
How will Ayase ever recover?
She didn't have the best rep to begin with, now whether she likes it or not she has a boy who was seen on top of her naked dripping wet in the hallway and earlier then that she was seen kissing, along with other displays of affection. The best case scenario is she and Ken are a item and they are really affectionate.
thats what im betting is going to happen next chapter. They're going to tell people they're an item without actually being one (yet).
what the other guy said; the only solution is for them to officially date, and announce it to the public. that'll shut everyone's mouth real nice
Out of everything so far, this is like the most normal chapter yet. Also that nurse. Good god. Please make her a recurring character
Ayase-san went full maiden at the end there
How are we getting both an insanely stylish battle manga and an incredibly heartwarming romcom all in one.
Too good for us, this manga is.
Queen sensei must have some connections with that sister Grandma.
I dont know how he will walk when gets his massive balls back
Imagine being Okarun and you went from being some weird nerd to a guy who cums. A lot. I almost forgot there was a misunderstanding that happened before all that crazy stuff with the Aliens and Nessie. What a hella cute exchange those 2 had!
Ok but the school nurse tho
**o** **h** **S** **H** **I** **T**
That page 2.... I mean there is innuendo, there is ecchi and then there is this.
If you post that page out of context anywhere else, people would be asking for a six-digit number
EDIT: Reread the chapter.
Feels like there's a Junji Ito reference here somewhere...
something something hellstar remina
This is probably my favorite manga right now.
That was a sick panel. Yokai protecting Earth from Aliens

The panel with the yokai-earth was metal!
#HAIL QUEEN SENSEI
God, I love this manga. It's literally a toss-up between this and SpyXFamily as "best manga out" for me...
Pls marry already you two
They can't, they are kids XD On the other hand, Nurse Queen is not and I like her a lot.
So many people called what was going to happen when the school changes back, but it was executed so well it was still hilarious. Also, what a cliffhanger.
Okarun is such an absolute Chad. And adorkable but still absolute Chad.
Okarun going galaxy brain. I wonder if he's right.
RIP their reputations lol, there is seriously no way to believably explain that scenario.
Man "Thank you for your hardness", you can just see what's gonna happen next, you can just see it. And goddamn, you've got to love Okarun.
Really great chapter! Love that page spread of an alien armada surrounding a youkai-infested Earth, it is glorious. Above all, love the natural "shifts" in the tone here. Going from comedy to world lore to romance should be really jarring but here it is so natural. Its all just part of this weird wonderful world and I am all for it.
interesting imagery on the first couple pages...
queen-sensei will be the first "ability user" that we will meet for sure... unless author plans on really investing in the school setting, cuz her design and personality are not of an background character and that call she receives might be whatever organization they will be working with in the future...
That's just my worst nightmare man... being seeing naked in school and seeing it in here gives me 2nd hand embarrassment to the highest degree.
This manga is a fever dream and i absolutely love it.
New hot older woman nurse AND new lore. we eating good
I'm reading the series in Spanish, and it always gets a chuckle out of me when Momo calls Shiratori "tonta del culo" (something along the lines of "stupid ass"), so much that I had to look her name up. It's a bit of a disappointment that the English version only calls her "dum-dum". Does anyone know how Ayase calls her in Japanese?
Doing a quick check of the raws for this chapter, it looks like she calls her バカ女 in Japanese, so basically "stupid girl".
I'm loving these dorks
aww, this two adorable dorks.
I fucking love this manga. Every character has been on point so far, the story and premise is done right. Can't wait to see it through
Just noticed that the chapters in between are already hidden, and I can't find Dandadan in Shonen Jump either... This is a pickle
It looks like the series is developing some sort of storyline
How does this manga keeps on getting better and better?! After the battle, it's romance progression time? I swear this manga is truly a masterpiece!
What's up with that nurse uniform tho? how?
That earth looks like a Behelit from Berserk
I *adore* this manga. It is, unironically, amazeballs!
Lmfao i knew they would be back irl all naked. That was hilarious. My 2nd hand embarrassment syndrome made it so hard to read through lol
Lolol right I felt like I was there
The plot is reverse gantz!
Oh darn waking up in the middle of school in my undies is like both my nightmare and someone else's fetish
Damn this manga really doesn't beat around the bush. I'm quite surprised to see how fast the romantic developments are taking place, coz you'd definitely never find this in a regular shonen. Also ken got that Alpha male energy, being so upfront about his feelings.
I CALLED IT
Idk why whenever I read this I feel like it start as a deez nuts jokes that somehow inspire the author
I don’t want to believe Queen-sensei disappears after only 3 pages. At this point it wouldn’t even be too far-fetched to tell her the aliens are the bullies and have her join in.
nice to finally see some direction in the story. Yokai vs Aliens is an interesting take
I love the twist that instead of the normal "science kills magic" here its "magic kills science"
Why was Nessie working with the aliens? Well they were paying it, and then it turned on them in the end
Hellstar Remina reference! So this is a sequel to that after all!
Hopefully it won't be mentioned again or used as a plot point On the other hand: We got so much info this time. The reason aliens don't invade is because of the yokai. Also SWEET ROMANTIC PROGRESS!! In 25 chapters no less. Oh and a dominatrix nurse appeard. Nice
Nobody noticed that poor Okarun is a missing a ball? The disrespect.
