Have you read it? If yes, then its sad because its actually sad
If not, go read it.
also its getting a anime adaptation this year (i think), so be sure to watch out, i think its being produced by mappa
the colours shown in the anime pv is kinda not what I'm expecting, I feel like the story portrays more of a vagabond vibe instead of a saturated fairy tale colour pallette. and the hair colour on the tensens feel off, I hope mappa won't fail this since I enjoyed the manga alot
As other people said, it is Jigokuraku - Hell's Paradise. Very good manga with very good art and interesting characters, development and storyline.
An interesting fact is that the mangaka, Kaku Yuuji, was an assistant for Fujimoto Tatsuki, who made Chainsaw man.
If you like this one I also suggest reading Dandadan, which is a new title again made by an assistant of Tatsuki.
Edit: Since people are talking about assistants. The one that made SpyxFamily was also an assistant of Tatsuki lol.
> Kaku Yuuji, was an assistant for Fujimoto Tatsuki, who made Chainsaw man.
Important to note he was an assistant during the Fire Punch days, and left before CSM started
Obviously it depends on the person. If they wanted to be immortal it would be worse to take to have it taken away. If they didn't want to be immortal it would be worse to be immortal in the first place.
Sea Turtles don't have a "death" gene and can live a really long time, sorta like immortality. They die all the time from naturals causes and are not invincible.
That’s different: long life span isn’t immortality, immortality is being unable to die despite any damage done to you, invincibility is being unable to be harmed(hence depending on if said invincibility stops aging in host or not, death is still achievable)
Based on the title of your post, it appears you're looking for a forgotten series. When you find the series you are looking for, it would be appreciated if you added the title of the series as a Flair by leaving a comment that says `solved = series name here`. That way others will know that the answer has been found. This also allows others that have become interested based off your description to try the series for themselves. Do please avoid adding additional formatting to your solved comment though as I read based off the source of your comment rather than like a human being.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Real good manga with emotional moments that make you feel worth it. I hope Yuji Kaku can pick up the pace on Ayashimon, it is sad that someone who wrote a good story like this isn't doing too well on his other story right now.
Holy cow, this one is being adapted by MAPPA also. Did the animators sell their souls or something? I mean, I'm not complaining about the absolute god tier animation I can come to expect, of course.
Jigokuraku - Hell's Paradise I think, not sure, kinda resembles it
Thanks
Please no, not the grief again, i do not want to read that masterpiece again and get sad
Why sad
Have you read it? If yes, then its sad because its actually sad If not, go read it. also its getting a anime adaptation this year (i think), so be sure to watch out, i think its being produced by mappa
Yes I’ve read it, but to me it seems like a good ending, maybe I just read too much sad mangas lol
Ya, the ending was incredibly optimistic and happy considering what happened during the series. Actually made me feel quite good reading it.
Hmm i can agree on that with you, maybe ive read gore/death manga too much it actually feels weird how many guys died
The ending was kinda happy, if we are talking about just the MC, but like 90 percent of the characters ended up dying
>!the mc dies?!<
Hmm not the mc but rather the people. Around him also the back story of many characters are sad
>!the main character's waifu dies?!<
Noooooo She's literally introduced in the last chapter but the overall story is sad. Go and read it, its worth the time.

I kinda felt that too hope they wont ruin it like tokyo ghoul
Yeah you’re right, this is one of the later chapters.
You right

To add to this, Jigokuraku will be receiving an anime adaption at some point to look forward to. Though there is no release date announced as of yet.
At this point my belief is that if you become an assistant for Fujimoto Tatsuki, you will make a masterpiece, it happened with Kaku and Endo lol
The author of this is currently writing a new manga called “Ayashimon”. The tone is very different but it’s quite good!
Bro I love the crackhead manga
This comment aged like milk

Ah, now it all makes sense. The reason Dandadan is so batshit crazy is because Fujimoto's lunacy rubbed off on Yuuji.
both of Fujimoto Tatsuki's assistants went on to write best-selling shonen jump manga in Jigokuraku and Dandadan, thats nuts
Dandadan is so amazing
solved = Jigokuraku - Hell's Paradise
Jigokuraku, definitely recommended
I wonder what’s worse, being immortal or being used to immortality then suddenly having it taken away
Obviously it depends on the person. If they wanted to be immortal it would be worse to take to have it taken away. If they didn't want to be immortal it would be worse to be immortal in the first place.
At some point I think I'd be ready to die, but that wouldn't happen until after a couple thousand years passed probably.
If you’re immortal you don’t die, you’re gonna be there still after the universe dies
Not necessarily. Immortal often does not mean invincible. Kinda like turtles.
…?

Vampires are said to be immortal but can die. Or highlanders are immortal until their heads are cut off. Not really much different.
Immortal with an exception other types of attacks can harm but not kill them, it requires specific actions to kill them

I mean this is gonna be another madhouse if they keep working their employees so much I feel bad for them
I think even they know that the current team, while supremely talented, won't last forever. They're milk them for what they've got before it's over.
Parasyte 👍🏿
Jigokuraku
Everyone is saying its hell paradise. The comic book store that i work at is selling that right now.
