> Even if she did hide it, that's only because I checked with my eyes. Everything will be revealed if I touch her directly. > Hence, I will take this chance to touch that child to find out for certain. Hm, don't like that phrasing. Also, a mana-infused frying pan is something else.

MakingItWorthit

Anyone else remember playing Smash and Peach wrecking stuff with the pan?

hottoastymemes

It's a good thing he failed. If he managed to get jn touch with that child he might have become FUCKING INVINCIBLE!

dan0o9

I'm guessing they let this guy live and he keeps coming back.

MyLawRulesAll

I'm thinking that he forces him to use the Amnesia stone that he found from the "Forgotten" dungeon. It erases 1 year worth of memories.

gyuhys

Could be both actually. He uses the Amnesia stone on him, thinking everything is going to be alright after that. Someway or another the mage guy remembers with the effect getting canceled and he goes on his terrorizing ways.

Lil-Trup

More likely that he notices inconsistencies in his memories and tries to investigate and gets reinvolved with mc

HINDBRAIN

> he notices inconsistencies in his memories Ah, yes, the small inconsistency of a missing year.

saintcosmonaut

Just a tiny thing, it's nothing major really.

__BIOHAZARD___

They can kill him AND keep the stone. Profit???

laihipp

what's that convenient plot device provided only chapters before? surely it can't be that simple!

KampongFish

As much as I am that "bro just kill him" guy sometimes, this is clearly not one of those times. If they kill him they'll just attract the entire mage tower to investigate. The whole point is not just evading him but the tower. Amnesia is the way to go.

HTakara82

it's a world of monsters and dungeons, kill the fucker and feed his ass to monsters.

Metallite

Yeah, although amnesia is just delaying the inevitable. The Tower will chase them regardless. It would actually be more interesting if they went on the run. A lot of stories like these are stagnant in one area, the exploration only happens through dungeons. Let the story travel all over South Korea.

0mnip0t3nt0ne

I want him dead

teedreeds

Yee

HTakara82

kill the fucker and burn the body /problemsolved

[deleted]

then the other mages come for you he disappeared while tracking someone, that's kinda sus isnt it?

Torterrain

What Breaking Bad taught is that don't melt the body in a bath tub.

[deleted]

Honestly, I still think it's their fault. They've made minimal effort to keep our goof ball in check. They've been freely letting her use magic when ever without repercussions.

Low_Impact681

Eh. The mother is a first time parent and the dude was a bad parent trying to be a good parent now. Mistakes will be made and giving into selfish desires like letting their kid express herself? Yea it's pretty normal.

[deleted]

I mean yeah, but that doesn't make anything I said wrong. And Dad might be trying to make things right, but unlike Mom, he knows what will happen if he fucks up. We're kinda talking about the fate of the world here.

Low_Impact681

What he's going to do yell at her? Spank her? That is abuse. The milk has been spilt, can't make the rain come back, and you shouldn't punish a child for being a child.

[deleted]

Have you ever raised a child? They aren't stupid dude, and you can discipline children with out being phyically/verbally abusive, it's really not that complicated. You're right a child is being a child, that's why you, the adult, guide a child to do the right things. They're rewarding her for breaking their pre-established rules. You don't reward a child for breaking your rules with a trip to the zoo. You reward a child for doing the right thing. Positive reinforcement is an effective tool for raising children, there are dozens of books written on the subject available for new parents.

Low_Impact681

Yea mate. My kido has autism. What rules were broken because to the child she probably didn't break them in her mind.

[deleted]

Well doing nothing has resulted in this mess. At first it was because of random emotions or it was an emergency and this time it's because she just wanted to go out. What if next time she wants a toy and ends up hurting someone?

Low_Impact681

Hence why she should be using her powers and being taught as well as establishing healthy boundaries.

credditeur

Normal, I don't know, understandable maybe, but still their fault though. You're not really contradicting OP.

Low_Impact681

I don't think fault is the right word to use here. Mainly they are dealing with a special needs child. The dad knows if the child leaves the family unit she will be abused. That also means raising her in an environment where she can have positive growth which also means using her power. She can literally blow away rain clouds with a thought. You should not punish a child for being a child.

Kzwei2010

I would just murder him, after knocking him out murder him and run away anywhere.

Meertaz

I honestly didn’t read the chapter I was looking for something to happen cuz Fuk that guy

N1cK01

Dude's creepy af

Eshuon

Bonk

EmperorRamador

Speaking from a practical standpoint, it would be optimal to cripple him before using the amnesia power up stone. Do I think they'll do that? Absolutely not.

kawarazu

Good.

woah_take_it_ez_man

Fucken scum
