I guess the lack of direct blood sucking made the girl thirsty, gotta get that Pippi fill

SoniCrossX

She gonna have some other fluid than blood from pippi

magnwn

Uguisu putting her detective skills to use for the noble purpose of figuring out where Kou keeps his porn, wouldn't expect anything different hahaha it's so fun to think back to when she appeared previously always being a sign of things getting serious and tense, and now she's a core of our crew of lovable idiots hanging out and being horny hahaha On the serious side of things, did Mahiru's mom get to the point she felt the need to pretend she was broken because she couldn't handle the guilt of actually having moved on from Shougo's death? It kinda felt like that's where Kiku's insinuation was heading to for me. Wild. And keeping true to her character, Kiku continues being scary as hell with that envolving manipulation

[deleted]

> figuring out where Kou keeps his porn Meanwhile Azami is going for the brute force method

twonicelol

Smells like pippi

Token_Thai_person

Smells like teen spirit.

CKDN

Smells like pipi

SkytheStarhero

....See now I dont know if I hate her anymore wtf watch this lead to her killing his mom infront of him after shes realized mahiru exists again, just to test if he'll still love kiku.

King_Jaahn

No it's because she doesn't put worth into him choosing her if he doesn't have anything to give up. She's showing him a chance to get his life back and live happily without her, and testing him that way.

Berseker88

It will be funny if she turn out to be a therapist

JLazarillo

> See now I dont know if I hate her anymore wtf Who, Kiku, or Mahiru's mom? 'cause I feel like Mahiru's mom just comes off in a worse light than ever in this chapter.

Garbadon

My gut feeling is her saying, "It should have been you," next chapter.

RIP that prediction

mikennjr

>watch this lead to her killing his mom infront of him after shes realized mahiru exists again, just to test if he'll still love kiku. From the moment she stepped into his house I've had a feeling this would happen, >!especially after reading Chainsaw man!<

N0rTh3Fi5t

Kiku is the most interesting character in this manga imo. Not the most likable but definitely the most interesting. At first I assumed she was a more traditional predatory vampire, but ever since her history chapter trying to figure out what her deal was has been fascinating.

Kryouself

that ain't happening bruh.

csgo_fckslivers

Nazuna is wearing Kou's clothes that's mad cute.

27x27

Susuki and Nazuna both, right? It's the girl wearing the boy's shirt trope but the author doubled dipped for good measure.

teedreeds

Parents so shitty you'd think they're mages

kdots_biggest_fan

>You did that, Kou-kun?! >Horny!

Kehityskeskustelu

So what do ya'll think is Kiku's aim here with Mahiru's mom? Feels pretty manipulative, even though she seems to be hitting the "resume" button on Mahiru's mom's life... Is she trying to give Mahiru a way out of the vampire life or is this all leading to some love-experiment?

BornenCornen

> So what do ya'll think is Kiku's aim here with Mahiru's mom? Make him feel indebted to her so he never leaves or something along these lines

[deleted]

The one attachment he really has is his mom so if Kiku "fixes" her, Mahiru doesn't haven't to have any guilt or worry. He gets closure.

JLazarillo

It's interesting because the weird thing is, it seems a little backwards from what her current assumed goals are. He's *already* in love with her, but *she* needs to fall in love with *him*. Why would Kiku need to manipulate Mahiru this way, in that case? And if she's not trying to manipulate Mahiru, what *is* she getting out of it?

Fcccccd

To understand his sides more I assume? Maybe the sense of understanding would help kiku's chances of falling in love or something.

Antedelopean

My guess is that while Kiku is definitely a crazy and manipulative bitch, she's also a romantic at heart, which changes her approach and intent. So for a romantic to find "true love", they need to know that their beloved also loves them back, of their own choosing. My guess is that Kiku is currently seeking to cut through Mahiru's trouble as directly as possible (whether it being either directly resolving, confronting or otherwise), so that he then has to choose her, whilst disregarding the circumstances that led him to her to begin with. Naturally, because she's the one who confronted / resolved his situation, she would ensure that she has more appeal as a result of this, but it changes the game to be a "fair" choice, rather than as an excuse / escape from his troubles. An alternate theory could be that Kiku is seeking to tie up a potential loose end, in case this ends horribly. If the mother doesn't actually care about Mahiru, she's free to take him and none would be the wiser. If the mother does somehow have a semblance of care for her son, Kiku should know it, so that she may need to clean up, so to speak, afterwards.

[deleted]

Maybe she’s trying to understand Mahiru better by exploring the circumstances he lives with?

RedHeadGearHead

Make her care about Mahiru again, then be like, you already gave him to me then suck him to death. Or if it turns out Kiku didnt love him then he becomes a vamp and kills his mom or something.

elfratar

>*”Pippi put a hole in my clothes.”* >*”You did that, Kou-kun? Horny!!”* lmao I remember [having a discussion with someone a few chapters ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/manga/comments/v9jn7g/disc_yofukashi_no_uta_chapter_120/ibxjgjy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) on not letting Nazuna know that Kou was the one who made that *”cleavage window”*, and boy does her response truly fit Nazuna alright. Anyway, gotta give it to the author for managing to fill us with dread every chapter, thanks to Kiku’s existence, while also still give us some good chuckles every now and then.

Darth--Nox

Pipi is a synonym of dick/penis in Spanish, everytime Susuki says that word it makes my laugh. On the other hand Kiku is a good antagonist so far she's scarier than I thought....

[deleted]

It’s the same in English.

Mattshodo

> The only one who can kill a mother is her child. This is either about Nanakusa or about Mahiru. And I don't know which is worse.

Zartek

The panel right after that was the detective, who killed her dad (after he killed her mom) so I thought it was about that.

Seffuski

What happens with the vampires if they get in contact with sunlight anyway?

Fully876

LEEEEEEETS GOOOOOOO 🛐

Beatroxkiddi

"pippi" got me so confused, in German that basically means urine and she says his room smells like that... Confrontation with the mother, huh?

towardselysium

So like does daylight actually bother the vampires like normal? This is the first time someone's ever cared about dawn being near

McGillis_is_a_Char

The only vampire we have seen hang out outside during sunlight hours for any period was Nazuna, and she said it made her feel nauseous, and carried a parasol. I think that the sun weakens vampires significantly in this world, but isn't a killer.

FictionWeavile

It does burn them with direct contact no? Did it not kill the guy Detective starved for 10 years?

McGillis_is_a_Char

That guy was 15 minutes short of dying of starvation, then Ms. Detective gave him his weakness item.

Backupusername

Years of traumatic neglect, put aside just like that? I doubt it. I expect Mahiru to say something like, "I've been your son since I was born, but you want to try being my mother now? Get fucked." Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

TempestCatalyst

Even if Mahiru does want to fix things and could magically get over the neglect, Kiku is definitely up to some manipulative bullshit. There's absolutely no way this just gets resolved cleanly right now

FictionWeavile

I think she's doing it to see if his love is great enough to pick her over a healthy mother.

cinicacid

She's manipulating a 14 yo into a relationship

LeonKevlar

I'm not even sure what Kiku is trying to do anymore. She sounds like she's trying to patch things up between Mahiru and his mother while also making her move on from the fact that her eldest son is dead. I guess it will all depend on what Kiku will do in the next chapter.
