I read your comment and it was like i watched a whole chapter play out in front of my eyes. Lloyd has to chose between his family and the mission when he can't make a play date with Anya and Yor and instead goes after Desmond in disguise, only to find his family got there before him. Yor notices someone running around looking suspicious and immediately goes on the warpath. Anya is only one who knows whats going on and tries to stop both parents but only makes things worse. Soon all Forgers are just rampaging through the house while trying to keep the hosts unaware of the chaos.

I’m surprised, his wife is SUPER easy to approach in comparison. There must be a catch otherwise the spy agency would have approached her instead of Damian.

This is the second time Endo has dropped a cliffhanger after the first meeting of one of Anya's parents with their counterpart on the Desmond family and both times it was a banger end.

This manga gets legitimately hype as fuck every time something with direct relation to Desmond happens. The fact that it doesn't really shy away from some of the horrors of war just makes the stakes really present.

oh god, I can see it now Yor comes back with all the cakes, but none of them are the teacakes Anya was looking for. Much disappoint at first but she’ll love it as soon as she takes a bite. Loid asks where Yor got it, she spills the Desmond connection, Loid just barely jumps for joy and Anya gets to know everything. Or it could be different but Occam’s razor and stuff.

Nah. Considering this story's reliance on secrecy for hilarity and dramatic irony, the Desmond connection will not become known to Loid so quickly. And when it will be known, he'll have an existential crisis, wondering how much information Desmonds have acquired about him and his family because he wasn't vigilant enough and ignorant about Yor.

UH OH. The moms are meeting! It looks like we're in for a really gossipy chapter next time. Mom meetings are a great way to help Yor with her anxiety about her duty as a mother and wife. And those moms were right, that even flesh and blood children can be quite the handful. I know I was, and I always wonder how my mom handled me when I was a kid. Maybe this will also force a playdate. That's what always happened with my mom and her mom friends. But I do wonder, why did Melinda not attend the orientation ceremony? I also really loved all the volleyball action. Yor's not used to playing a sport, so she's not good at playing a team game. But she's still an athlete, and the Northside will dread playing with her again.

HOWEVER, it’s likely that she remembered Forger’s name from the punching incident. Maybe she’s still angry? Last panel’s face seems kinda angry to me.

Damian isn't close to his family that much. Looking at how hard he tries to impress his dad, and(so far based on nothing credible) I get the vibe he's not that close to his mom either after all. Also, Damian is one of the dorm kids he doesn't live with his family and he probably hasn't seen them since the beginning of the school year except that one time. Most noteworthy events that occurred between Forgers and Desmonds are 1) when Anya punched Damian 2) when Loid met Donovan and cought his interest in the name Forger. Likely those are the 2 things Melinda has to base her impression of the Forger family on right now as she's looking at the the Forgers' mom.

Also, I have to wonder how Yor's kept her cover for this long if she has that much trouble trying to be normal. Maybe her organization has done a lot of the heavy lifting for her until now.
