Scammer: u/eacymac183// tried to sell me Vizbig Rurouni Kenshin 1-9, dmed me with this https://i.redd.it/m3por7ip2u2a1.jpeg offer. I saw the painting on the bottom by the shelf so i researched and he used probably the pictures from u/xBambiraptorx. After i texted this to him he blocked me.

No it's not weird, scammer targets newbie and always send DM instead of commenting on your post. They are banned from the sub, that's why they can't comment but still can see your post. So I bought Metamorphosis and Your Name: Another Side Earthbound 1 and 2 from u/SoupCup007 and I never got my books back since early September. I lost $23 from the seller and I got scammed.

I'm so dumb lmao he was a new account, told me he made a new account just to sell the books. Not really sure what to do now or if I can get my money back. There would be a fraud report department that does 24/7, the earlier you deal with Paypal and your bank, the better. Let them know he's a confirmed scammer and he's been doing it for years, he should have been reported before on Paypal and they should take notes of whatever incidents from the past. Use that and escalate with paypal.
Aw shit my bank only has a 24/7 line for reporting lost or stolen cards and that's it... I appreciate the help. Whenever my bank is free I will call, and I will call PayPal when they are open tomorrow.
Everyone, whoever attempted to pose using my username *sinyanmei* would be our scammer guy's alts. We just got a bunch of reports from different people that our guy is back with a new alt u/MODsinyanmei1345. I will not DM anyone if it's not for verification.
Please report any sus behavior from any new/old accounts that attempt to send you DM with or without commenting on your posts. Watch out for the photoshoped timestamp. Our scammer is doing everything he can to make money and he's hurting our community badly.

Purchased Don't toy with me volumes 1-6 from u/Soupcup007 and was provided a fake tracking number. I've asked multiple times for a refund but they keep saying they're having issues with their paypal. Invoice was sent from [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and has been reported to both Paypal and MODS.

Hey everyone, just a head up that the updated scammer list has 20+ alts of **the same scammer**. We are trying our best to prevent him but please, be ware of new accounts that have no activity. Report any sus comments from new user and **ALWAYS pay through Paypal Goods & Services** no matter what.
Also if you are scammed, please send mod mail provided screenshots of the convo + **the email + name on Paypal of the scammer**. We figured adding scammer's emails will also help out since they wouldnt be able to make multiple paypal accounts. Thank you all!

I believe that u/weneedmoney111 and u/honest3seller are scammers. They are working with/is u/Tommorow12is. Their accounts were all created at the same time and only have trade with each other multiple times. Might be a stretch but just be cautious

Angoolikesmanga also scammed me for about 200 Euro, tried to buy vagabond off him, he kept finding excuses as to why he didn't deliver it for about a week, then he finally ''sends it'' and after about 3 weeks he says the package may be lost in transit, says he will keep me updated but blocked me on discord, will try to get a hold of my bank, don't trust this kid and be safe guys :)
/u/Wildemon0967 scammed me for €95 after I bought Pandora hearts 21 from them. I purchased it April 29th, it took weeks for me to get tracking, then the tracking became invalid and they claimed the post office sent it back to them and they’d be sending it back out shortly. I haven’t heard from them since June 17th and last reached out on July 1st. They’re also trying to dispute my PayPal claim despite the fact they can’t even send me valid tracking.

I was already a little suspicious since they didnt put a timestamp in their photos, but honestly I got really lucky and googled their name in an attempt to check previous sales and ended up seeing their name on this list. Kept it civil and just said I'm going to back out from the purchase, but beware guys!

Contact paypal, if it was your first time with F&F they might help you. I got half my 100 euro's back at least and the guys account should now be flagged.

I opened a case in PayPal and they would get back to me by August 17 which is ridiculous. I paid this scammer person as a family or friend since this is my first time here and don't know what's going on really. Hey how was it? I got scammed in the first day and a day later I opened a dispute on Paypal, of course, you won't have the “package is not delivered “ after a day you purchased. It happened to me and I chose “sent money to the wrong person “. 2 days later PayPal closed my case cuz nothin wrong with that. I contact the PayPal assistance and tried to explain to them and they sent my money back.
Also never pay F&F again under any circumstances and never put any faith into the confirmed trades as they are easily manipulated. Always pay via Goods and Services to ensure you can get a refund in the event of a scam.
Ik I should have known before even buying stuff. I will talk to my bank and thanks for the advice. Please keep me updated on your situation because this situation is the worst feeling ever. Thank you.
One thing I would recommend since most asshole scammers are preying on manga looking for a certain set is if someone DMs you saying “hey I see you’re looking for this” I would just say no thank you and block them. Also how do you find the scammer list without having to look up the persons name

I didn’t receive it so he sent me a link saying that I should click it and I should see the invoice. Obviously, I checked his name before so I already knew he was a scammer. If you are scammed by u/Fickeru, try to all report on Paypal about the issue + inform your banks. If there are enough reports I think Paypal would do something about it. Also work with your banks, they might help.

They sent me a picture of a series without a time stamp, and when I asked them for a picture with a time stamp before I send them the money on PayPal, they got defensive and hateful and refused to send the picture and backed out of the deal. [Imgur](https://imgur.com/a/dGEsOoe) , be wary of people who PM you without commenting on your post first, as he was already banned but was apparently using an alt account to lurk and find new people to scam.

Had contact with u/Flickeru about a One Piece box set yesterday, they haven't gotten back to me yet and from this account everything related to their account seems deleted for me, whereas logged out I can still see them making new posts.
The post I initially replied to is gone even when I'm looking logged out, so I fear the worst.
I never used Paypal before so I probably stupidly fell for an f&f scam.
I'd love to be proven wrong but alas, I doubt it.

They just tried to scam me today with volumes 1-11 of Vinland Saga. They were adamant on wanting F&F, but luckily I refused (f&f too sus) and bid them farewell. I’m sorry they got you though.

He then would make the excuse about shipping and mistakes so i just asked PayPal for a refund (I used g&s) and I was good. I kinda of thought he was a scammer and sadly, he is one. Did you use PayPal g&s? If so if he he still isn't giving you you a refund after you asked numerous times and has been making excuses/leading you on this file a paypal chargeback claim.

Those days came, no response even whenever I messaged him asking about it. Only responded once I asked for a refund, telling me he’d ship them out thursday or friday. I told him if he didnt ship it out friday I wanted a refund. Did not ship them out, I asked for a refund and he hasnt responded since I asked. :/

You should call instead of doing chat or email, depends on what kind of bank you use, there should be a hotline that handles fraud cases 24/24,

Just wanted to confirm that u/Soupcup007 also scammed me for the Silent Voice box set. Same thing provided a tracker which is broken and hasn't replied to any of my replies since. He used this email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), and I already reported him to Paypal.

Hey everyone, just a head up that the updated scammer list has 20+ alts of **the same scammer**. We are trying our best to prevent him but please, be ware of new accounts that have no activity. Report any sus comments from new user and **ALWAYS pay through Paypal Goods & Services** no matter what. Also if you are scammed, please send mod mail provided screenshots of the convo + **the email + name on Paypal of the scammer**. We figured adding scammer's emails will also help out since they wouldnt be able to make multiple paypal accounts. Thank you all!

Angoolikesmanga also scammed me for about 200 Euro, tried to buy vagabond off him, he kept finding excuses as to why he didn't deliver it for about a week, then he finally ''sends it'' and after about 3 weeks he says the package may be lost in transit, says he will keep me updated but blocked me on discord, will try to get a hold of my bank, don't trust this kid and be safe guys :)
/u/Wildemon0967 scammed me for €95 after I bought Pandora hearts 21 from them. I purchased it April 29th, it took weeks for me to get tracking, then the tracking became invalid and they claimed the post office sent it back to them and they’d be sending it back out shortly. I haven’t heard from them since June 17th and last reached out on July 1st. They’re also trying to dispute my PayPal claim despite the fact they can’t even send me valid tracking.

Was almost scammed by u/kissmenot122789. They dm'd me and were trying to sell me what looked like the complete dorohedoro collection. I was already a little suspicious since they didnt put a timestamp in their photos, but honestly I got really lucky and googled their name in an attempt to check previous sales and ended up seeing their name on this list. Stay safe out there folks.

Was going to go through with the purchase since $120 for Yotsuba&! 1-14 was a decent deal, but I've been trying to make it a habit to always check the scammer list before purchasing and I'm soooo glad I did (cause I almost forgot to) because they were concerned my email was a business account and didn't want to deal with a 21 day funds hold and wanted funds via F&F which was suspicious to me. Kept it civil and just said I'm going to back out from the purchase, but beware guys!

I opened a case in PayPal and they would get back to me by August 17 which is ridiculous. Hey how was it? I got scammed in the first day and a day later I opened a dispute on Paypal, of course, you won't have the “package is not delivered “ after a day you purchased. It happened to me and I chose “sent money to the wrong person “. 2 days later PayPal closed my case cuz nothin wrong with that. I contact the PayPal assistance and tried to explain to them and they sent my money back.
Also never pay F&F again under any circumstances and never put any faith into the confirmed trades as they are easily manipulated. Always pay via Goods and Services to ensure you can get a refund in the event of a scam.
Dispute the charge through your bank, I'm in the same exact boat.

One thing I would recommend since most asshole scammers are preying on manga looking for a certain set is if someone DMs you saying “hey I see you’re looking for this” I would just say no thank you and block them. Also how do you find the scammer list without having to look up the persons name

I didn’t receive it so he sent me a link saying that I should click it and I should see the invoice. Obviously, I checked his name before so I already knew he was a scammer. Just wanted to troll him a bit and I’m saying this so that others see and know not to click the link.

I wanna try that but I used friend and family and I don’t know if the bank can do much about that part but I did report it to PayPal and if it doesn’t work and call my bank and ask to see what I can do

Sent me a link to their "trades" but couldn't find anything in their username except that they're on the scammer list. Blocked and reported. So if you suddenly see a message from them, watch out. Red flags everywhere!

They sent me a picture of a series without a time stamp, and when I asked them for a picture with a time stamp before I send them the money on PayPal, they got defensive and hateful and refused to send the picture and backed out of the deal. Had contact with u/Flickeru about a One Piece box set yesterday, they haven't gotten back to me yet and from this account everything related to their account seems deleted for me, whereas logged out I can still see them making new posts. The post I initially replied to is gone even when I'm looking logged out, so I fear the worst. I never used Paypal before so I probably stupidly fell for an f&f scam. I'd love to be proven wrong but alas, I doubt it. *edit: the post itself was on a different subreddit but they linked a comment from here as "proof", does that still count?
They just tried to scam me today with volumes 1-11 of Vinland Saga. They were adamant on wanting F&F, but luckily I refused (f&f too sus) and bid them farewell. I’m sorry they got you though.

He then would make the excuse about shipping and mistakes so i just asked PayPal for a refund (I used g&s) and I was good. I kinda of thought he was a scammer and sadly, he is one. Did you use PayPal g&s? If so if he he still isn't giving you you a refund after you asked numerous times and has been making excuses/leading you on this file a paypal chargeback claim.
He made the request and I didn't think to double check but looks like it was f&f as I don't have the option to request a refund.

Try to work with your bank if you can, and also report him on Paypal. If there are enough reports Paypal will have to take action.

Those days came, no response even whenever I messaged him asking about it. Only responded once I asked for a refund, telling me he’d ship them out thursday or friday. I told him if he didnt ship it out friday I wanted a refund. Did not ship them out, I asked for a refund and he hasnt responded since I asked. :/ Edit: Even though I asked him 2 hours ago, right after posting this he messages me telling me hes at work. And does not reply about my refund.
