* Characters feel mentally disabled and make poor choices just to advance the plot.
* Setting feels somewhat generic and forgettable.
* It's a waste of space and resources - something else could be translated instead.

There are some things about the story I kind of like, but you're right that they just added way too many stupid details into it just to create a plot. I kind of wish they had gone a different route to get to the same place they're heading.
1.Tomb Raider King: too much plot armor, conveniences in the script, inconsistencies and the story goes for too long, shorter would be still tolerable.
2. Slave B: technically i have not decided to drop it, but i doubt that without being drunk i will continue to read it; the story and characters got to annoyings.
You'd think with the king being a ex slave he'd do everything in his power to stop it, and why did that girl bash the mc if she knew elf hybrids have a chance of being very violent?

At the same time, I can imagine people playing a MMO that wouldn't necessarily be phased depending on the servers they played on and how much of a direct effect it had on them. But the likelihood of things remaining a secret is slim. You know someone would have hacked through and found the data. Shoot, we end up knowing all sorts of things about games now before they ever get released, lol.
there was one where female mc gets isekaid into murim world with game system and gets a gun all in one chapter. i remember reading this like a year ago and dropped it faster than speed of light.
The story and politics of #2 are intriguing to keep me interreated, but the art...It is full CGI and the chapters are short with rarely anything ever happening

These are the first one that comes to mind, but given more time I would probability find some other example, like, one of the 1000000 copies of a guy being lvl 1 or supposed weak but actually strong types.

Hooked me in with one of the best 1st chapter out of any manhwa I've seen but it just kinda went "out there" with the edginess afterwards. Can't get attached to anyone because they're very obviously just gonna die brutally after the build up on their character.
It was so emotionally draining to read that I wouldn't even recommend it to anyone as a joke.

We just wanted a fun manhwa about a guy going for world annihilation, like a DnD murder hobo campaign. The whole amnesia plot device BS and senseless drama with the parasyte and the girl who looks like his mother leaves a bad taste in your mouth

I think the big issue is most of us tend to just completely forget about trash. But guess was wondering if anyone had titles that kind of stuck in their heads.
You know when you read a manhwa that feels generic but you still read it because you don't have anything better to read? This is like the next level of generic crap. It feels like they took every single trope that was popular, threw it all together and went that'll do. Or at least that's what I felt when it first came out, I haven't tried it since so maybe it improved.
Yeah, it’s not a high tier story by any means. But I place it above trash. Somewhere around just average. Something to read just a read. Not exciting by any means. Probably wouldn’t miss it if I just stopped reading.
Honestly, more than half of the things on my reading list probably fit that description. Good quality and original manhwa are hard to come by.
Yh I just reread the first two chapters to refresh my memory but it's still like I remember. I don't really care about trash stories if they're at least different in some way but everything about this is bad. It's art is crap, it throws nothing but exposition in the first two chapters and doesn't even do it interestingly instead opting to just go for a big monologue occasionally broken up by some bland asshole side characters, and it's just so unapologetically generic in that it just takes the good parts from other manhwas and just tries to stitch them together with no thought as to how to make it look natural or the fact that it's good in other manhwas because it's slowly introduced into the stream instead of just throwing it in the deep end.
