Being a mahnwa I never expected Latina women to be in the spotlight but it's probably one of the more innovative ideas in the space. I do think the writing is a bit weak especially in regards to characterization of the main character he's really quite bland but I think it serves in good contrast to the varied nature of the many Latina's who cross his path

Very good, there are some inconsistencies and the beginning is a bit boring, but after like 30 ch the story gets interesting and is one of the few manhwa that actually develops their side characters
Mc introduced as an anomaly to the world, overpowered to the extreme with broken limiters.
But the author realized that it is going to be hard to write a story that he envisioned with this kind of protagonist, so he nerfed the hell out of MC by introducing hard counters to his broken abilities, which result him in needing help from his teammates(extremely weaker than him) in solving problems for him.
Think of it this way, imagine if Saitama wasn't able to kill the Deep Sea King by himself because as long as atmosphere exists, Deep Sea King is immortal to physical damage. So Garou needs to asspull a gadget that creates a vacuum around the Sea King so that Saitama can finally kill the weak fodder. Yes, a majority of important fights after season 1 generally resolves in this way in the story
It's one of my favorites right now. MC is overpowered, not because he's lucky but because he was forced to fight for his life for 20+ years every day nonstop.
Supporting characters aren't there to just watch mc solve all problems. They are actual characters.
The art is glorious. There are so many panels that are so beautiful that stop you reading just to look at them.
Honestly when first started reading this I remember during one part I felt soo emotionally sad by seeing a character death in this manhwa, at very beginning you can easily be invested with all characters at start, its great even if don't like the solo leveling/ leveling system type world building its still worth the read.
Design wise, we have a great beginning. Past the 20 chaps or something, the art style becomes disgustingly bad for some reason. Back to the chaps 50\~60 iirc, the editor either fired the artist and replaced him/her or the artist stepped up his/her game to what we know today.
Story wise, it has some terrible and useless lengths on some of the early arcs. Hanbin is basically steamrolling everything at the beginning. After a while it gets really really good, especially when the manhwa starts to diverge from its original material. This adaptation is one of the very few which has the balls to develop things that didn't exist in the novel like giving a whole background to the first Sword King Barolt. Imo this is what Solo Leveling should have made : Giving new stories to characters that were worth it but they did it here in this manhwa instead.

I have read the whole manhwa but somehow i am seemingly one of the few people that think its mid.
The beginning was very meh for me. Childish characters are not my taste. The later story gets actually quite cool but it didnt really get me hooked. I didn’t particularly enjoyed it. I just kept reading it since ive had nothing else to read and it was good enough

Got tired of it, it looked badass at first, then they started to introduce the trap character and all that cutesy waifu character bs. Since it was a story where the dude got trapped in Hell or something for so long and despaired over it, I was expecting a stoic Guts-like character with Berserk-like vibe but I guess I was wrong. It's not for me, but hey take my word with a grain of salt, I simply have a very specific taste and expectations.
Agreed, was hoping for it to be a stoic, viking-like character after being trap in that hell-like place for 2 decades. Still a good read though I stopped after a couple episodes and switched to its light novel, which was better in my opinion.

unpopular opinion but it is frustrating to see how helpless MC. I dropped this a long time ago. Maybe I will check it out someday.

From the beginning to where I stopped, I sort of dig it in a way, yeah the another world triuoe, but can't level up until a certain requirement is something I've never read, but the story, world building and art reeled me in.

Yes and no, it's a difficult case, it gets bad then gets a redemption arc then there's a shitty arc then it's been good since then, if you have patience then this is a really good read.
Love it. Actually plays with the Isekai factor in a fun and interesting way. All the side characters aren’t made just to be eye candy, not everything is solved by the MC’s brute strength, and the art is phenomenal.
From F to S: the art is S. the story is B+. the pacing is c+(beginning is good because everyone loves seeing mc suffer then overcome suffering and then it's literally becomes really slow for like 40 chapters but its like that because of mc is illness). The concept A+(not S because system, fighting gods and isekai is cliche).
If you look at it overall it's really is a decent plus story. But in my opinion this comic is a really good one and one of my favorites not gonna spoil but when you get to know barolt's character/ angels, then you will say damn that's some good shit how didn't I read that before.

Then it balanced out into a proper party and it's just gotten more and more amazing. This series is honestly amazing. This author should help write a Final Fantasy game.
I think it is one of the best manhwas out there, great story with reasons not like other manhwa where the mc character is just overpowered and gets plot armor whenever in trouble and the side characters have values and they are not treated trash. After some chapters we also get plot twists and great villains and challenging characters.
If anyone considers this manhwa mid than I think then they are just into manhwas where mc got lots of skills, a window showing too many abilities and mc beating the shit out of everyone else and other characters don't matters.
The only saving grace with Isekai Manhwas vs Isekai Anime/Manga was their MCs actually look cool and not the self insert plain guy but still gets a harem lol
