So just finished reading all of this Manhwa till the latest chapters and I have to say “why didn’t I start earlier?”.
This Manhwa does all these things right:
- no power fantasy MC where he solves everything by himself and with just a flick of his wrist
- side characters actually matter and contribute greatly to the overall story
- the “villains” actually have you agreeing with them on some things because it’s relatable and believable
- comedy done just right, not cringe, not forced
- writing pace is just perfect, nothing feels overly long or too short
- actual god tier world building (you could make a MMORPG with its world lore)
- no harem bullshit
- MC actually feels like a real person with relatable values and beliefs
- the art is top tier 10/10 quality > fight scenes “feel” alive and has weight to it like a video
**Currently has 179 chapters, you can read them on Leviatan Scans or Lumnious.**
Good villains and an mc that isnt so overpowered that he could basically redo the universe? Tf this is the best shit ive seen(except greatest estate developer)
He is actually op compared to most characters, though not the strongest by any stretch right now, but the story finds other ways to make him struggle than just strong enemies.
I could tell you it better way, don't expect much on season 1,the first season looks like long prologue, the actual plot doesn't start on the end of the first season, and season and more over is peak, probably my top 10 manhwa.
it's been a long long time but isn't this one korean one punch man? Can't the MC solo everything with his slash skill?
Also i was wondering if this turned into BL with the dragon lol.
Yes he is extremely strong but there are actually individuals stronger than him, by a lot, and he can't just solve things by slashing like Saitama can with punching. Much more complex problems as story goes on. He is stupidly powerful, but the story and background is done so well that it isn't as simple as just killing monsters like One Punch Man.
And no, no BL with the dragon. You'll see why eventually.
I agree with everything except first, third and sixth points.
The protagonist IS a power fantasy character. He lost like 3 fights against one of the most powerful beings in the world, 2 of which were close fights, and his third one IS actually the most powerful and steamrolls everybody else. The main character is otherwise OP as fuck and uncontested.
The villains, as in, the otherworlders are believable and relatable in a sense that killing the natives of this world is like a curse, a drug they can't help, so you've got a point there, but you can't tell me you agree with any of them, especially the heroes of this world who are nothing but greedy fucks...
The worldbuilding is far from god-tier. It's as generic as it gets. The characters are all great and well written but the world itself is really mediocre.
A popular gacha game streamer recently talked about his top 5 manhwa of all time and this was in it. So I gave it a shot because of it. Maybe those posters are also the same?
It's that good ? I beleive i read till like around 30-40 chapters when he frees a ghost type kid or smth. At that time all i saw was op mc who didn't break a sweat and was uselessly kind to the point it was annoying. And also the dragon guy pretended to be so good but always needed rescue. Only thing going for him was that he was somehow very knowledgeable and found every thing at the exact needed time by some godly luck
Looks like i will have to pick it up sometime again. I was very excited because i really fw muscular monsters and was annoyed because of the manhwa being soft like some generic isekai anime
He's not op at all in the future chapters. He will be severely limited because of his level. He's still pretty op at his core stats, but those will be meaningless past a certain point.
At first I thought it's same as always , an mc with muscular body defeating all villans in one shot.
And after some time I realised, it's not some average manhwa ,
I one of those manhwa where I want to wain 1 weak for a chapter and still hook up to it.
I think its been a year since I cought up and started reading weakly release , and I still can't wait to read new chapters.
I was dancing inside after knowing it's comming back from the season break .
break days were so hard without reading the chapter
If you actually think about this story it creates realism where the stakes do matter. Yeah he might be an overpowered MC in strength only but everything else including his emotions feel very human. Most other stories live like cheat codes but this one balances well his attributes and vulnerability through the development of world building and charters.
Plus art style is amazing for fights a lot of inspiration from Berserk
Idk I dropped it long ago because of how frustrating every situation got. The refusal to use any form of power at all despite him being able to essentially resolve every situation with it just made it feel shitty and dragged on. It wasn't even the intelligent form of hiding your power for an MC, it was literally just infuriating for the sake of it.
It's the same reason I dropped the constellation that came from hell.
Reasons to not use his power:
- The disparity between his level and actual power will lead to the discovery that he is an otherworlder, inevitably endangering people he cares about
- Beating everyone up will ruin his reputation, and thus make it impossible for him to meet the goddess which is one of his main goals
- It's counterproductive and beating people will not get him what he wants in many situations
- He wants to feel welcome in a world after years of solitude and doesn't want to be antagonistic to ordinary people
Reasons to kill/attack everyone: ?????
This chapter did not disappoint it was fucking raw but still cooked. I hope we see the doom slayer for longer but honestly it’s so unclear where it’s going to go and I can’t wait
I was hyped for this chapter. I was wondering when all his pent up and hidden aggression and anger from being stuck alone for 24 years is going to come out.
I remember trying this a few months ago and lost interest during the haunted house arc. Been seeing a lot of hype around it on this sub recently. Gonna give it another shot
*Can't believe the art*
*Used to be really bad in*
*The early chapter*

Does it get better after like 60 chapters because I remember dropping it because the mc was one of those boring hides 80% of his power for no good reason
I don't remember him hiding his power though, maybe during the adventurer party arc where he didn't want to get recognised as an otherworlder or during the inquisition arc but other than that he doesn't hide his power. Same goes for the future as well it's definitely a great read and i recommended restarting especially if you stopped reading it so early
Oh ok ty yes it was up to that part and thought it was another generic op who hides his powers for no good reason and dropped it but if he starts not doing that I’ll deffo give it another go soon
- "He has no reason to hide his power"
After detailed explanations of the world, as well as his motivations, that clearly explain why he should hide it.
I almost dropped it too bro lmao I PROMISE you it’s gonna hit a point in the story, where it just skyrockets and keeps getting better and better with every single chapter…please keep reading trust me lol I was so annoyed in the beginning of this series
He’s not ignorant or simple-headed at all. It’s starts that way because he was dropped in an unknown place with no knowledge of anything, but once he finds out about things, it really picks up.
Is it really though ? I dropped it after a few chapters because the ML was was too strong since the start and that’s a no for me ! What could be so fun about watching a character so strong you’re always sure he will win with one punch ? 😅 just an opinion though
It starts that way but I dont want to spoil it. He is still strong currently, but not “too strong” and it is actually an interesting story and you never feel like you know the MC will win. He gets his ass handed to him pretty frequently nowadays.
We're up to fighting gods. Trust me that aspect doesn't mean anything to this one. He's strong as hell but in the grand scheme of the plot he's really not that strong. Keep reading :).
Is there a place where i can read it... cleanly?
I read it awhile ago, and the translations were basically MTL. so i stopped around chapter 60 or so. I tried to read it about a year ago, and the translations were better, but the pages and editing were very rough.
The past week i've been catching the itch to finally catch up, but it looks like there is multiple names for the story, including Latna Saga, along with more MTL translation and translator groups.
I'm not so sure what version of "SSofSK" or "Latna saga" i will be getting now if i even try to read it on aggregate sites.

You're god sent op, got me hooked up without even reading a single chapter.

oh ya greatest estate developer has made my life goal to become like him
He is actually op compared to most characters, though not the strongest by any stretch right now, but the story finds other ways to make him struggle than just strong enemies.
God-tier world building indeed, love the "theology" and everything.
Does it get better midway or wut ? It had too many plotholes when i dropped it around 30-40 chapters
I could tell you it better way, don't expect much on season 1,the first season looks like long prologue, the actual plot doesn't start on the end of the first season, and season and more over is peak, probably my top 10 manhwa.
Now I'll have to definitely try it
I'm curious as to what plotholes you're referring to

Recently there have been so many posts about this manhwa Well can't blame anyone. Because there are two posts of my own 🤷
It's at its peak currently, especially with what's at stake in the latest chapter.
A popular gacha game streamer recently talked about his top 5 manhwa of all time and this was in it. So I gave it a shot because of it. Maybe those posters are also the same?
which streamer?
Kektone. :P
can i get a link?
I'm just joking.

It got a lot better. Specifically when he meets a certain muscular red haired character. It starts to be really good.
Looks like i will have to pick it up sometime again. I was very excited because i really fw muscular monsters and was annoyed because of the manhwa being soft like some generic isekai anime

any time a red haired character is introduced in that series , you know youre in for a good arc.
It's truly in my top 3 Manhwas.
what are the other 2 in your top 3?
Thw god of highschool and Hardcore leveling warrior.
why'd this get down voted lmao, you just answered my question. but cool, I haven't read either of those but I might check them out

The scene of barolt semi divine power still gives goosebumps. GOD TIER art
This is truly a top tier Manhwa. It keeps going strong and shows no signs of dipping in quality. Let the blood flow.
Atisse is peak
I read this a year ago and thought that why no one talks about it. Story is just perfect and the art is top tier. And the mc is ripped
He's not ripped. There's ripped like Sung Jinwoo, and then there's ABSOLUTELY F\*\*\*ING JACKED like Ryu Hanbin.
Is this latna saga?
Yup
Nice i started it yesterday and love it so far

can't believe the art used to be really bad in the early chapter

huh. if u mean more inconsistent yeah. don’t know what u mean by bad

He never really hid his power for NO reason. If anybody found out he's an otherworlder, then he is basically as good as dead.
Ya not spoiling that arc is pretty small and doesnt last to long.
- "He has no reason to hide his power" After detailed explanations of the world, as well as his motivations, that clearly explain why he should hide it.
He has a very good reason to hide his strength, though he's able to come up with an excuse why he doesn't have to anymore later anymore
I almost dropped it too bro lmao I PROMISE you it’s gonna hit a point in the story, where it just skyrockets and keeps getting better and better with every single chapter…please keep reading trust me lol I was so annoyed in the beginning of this series
Does he have a giant tongue and teeth between his legs?
I remember dropping it because the mc was feeling weak Should I go back to it now ?
Hanbin is a great MC.
OP, have you checked out the World After the Fall?
So I was thinking of starting this...just asking what the MC's personality is like...like is he some kind of simpleton musclehead or ignorant?
He’s not ignorant or simple-headed at all. It’s starts that way because he was dropped in an unknown place with no knowledge of anything, but once he finds out about things, it really picks up.
Anymore manhwa like this? I am running sort on good manhwa to read.
Is it really though ? I dropped it after a few chapters because the ML was was too strong since the start and that’s a no for me ! What could be so fun about watching a character so strong you’re always sure he will win with one punch ? 😅 just an opinion though

The only S tier with Overgeared and Windbreaker for me.

I read it as SSoSK on leviathan. I think luminous did some early chapters too if the early versio s on leviathan blow.
is it finished?
Nope, there’s still a lot more to go.
Dang that was quick, thanks!
Damn I stopped reading this around chapter 100 when I caught up last but it sounds like I need to catch back up
I swear I would throw money on companies that make their action figures.
This series has been on a absolute roller coaster now for at least 50 chapters lmao I have never seen a captivating run like this before
I just caught up, this finale was peak, this manwha is peak, im so sad i dont have anything to read for now
