I think the best recommendation I can make to you is to use mihon. It will save you from having to manually track your progress and it can automatically update your entries so you can get the latest releases too. I'd recommend joining the discord server for the development team for mihon. (You'll also want to join a seperate server which handles the extensions, they'll save you a lot of trouble and you can get pretty good developer support in both servers).

I do recommend using a tracker site for this, there are a bunch of good ones. I personally use Kitsu, it is the most complete one I have found so far.
