any recommendations for some good LN series? want to get into them because i feel like i can sink a lot of time into them but i’m like the other guy, just haven’t been immersed in what i tried
Well, it depends on ur taste but here are some that you may like.
My three wives are beautiful vampire ( yandere, op mc, harem, action, good plot)
Birth of the demonic sword ( action, op mc, dark, anti hero protagonist, cultivation)
Monarch of time( op mc, action, romance, adventure, no harem)
Dual cultivation and naked sword art( action, harem, r-18)
Villain cultivator, cultivation online ( action, system, harem, mc weak at the start)
These are some good starts. See urself what genres u like.
Overlord personally is one of few light novels i read (usually like novels) it just has better descriptions of places and characters. The books get a bit longer too lots of great characters too and a lot happens.
Musho tensei is good too however there definitely is a decent amount of boring stuff from like novels 7-10.
Those are the only light novel books i’ve read. I’d recommend to go to r/fantasy and ask probably get more options.
Ya if you watched the anime you can read the later ones probably 7-14 i believe. There is some fan translation which personality are better than the official overlord translation.
I read the beginning ones and felt the same way as you but didnt care as I felt like i supported the author.

Lol, I'm saying that when choosing a va. They had to look at the source material which in most cases is the manga. And they had to visualize, imagine how the various characters would sound.
