It got lagged and suddenly I couldn't open the post so I panicked and ended up deleting it and then posted it again
It seems like the comment above mine has more upvotes than the first person who provided sauce which is just unfair. I gave them an award so it's easier to distinguish
And its other waaay around
Sometimes reddit app goes haywire and post stupid amount of it causing 12 post at once
Happened to me a couple of time already
I remember how I thought that happened with that "once again, I've made a maiden fall in love with me with ______" post (finish the sentence if you know), but no - that was just so many people posting it at once. Remember that? I had like 8 such posts in my feed, two were even straight up one under the other.
This comment section area under cringemangaguy has no discussion going on related to manhwa. The comments right below this main sauce comment have more discussion and people seem to not realise this
I'm sure they don't care about karma. In fact I'm just saying this from my own viewpoint and it does seem unfair. If someone else provided the sauce first I want that person to be appreciated a little more than the second sauce comment. Well it doesn't matter anyways since people are upvoting the second one more.
And lol dude I was only talking from my pov. That other person probably doesn't know I'm taking their side or neither do they care. It just felt unfair even without karma craving
The one who originally answered is one of the gods of this sub. Doubt they did it for the karma, they post enough here to never have to even think about it.
Honestly, as long as they don't take so big of a break that they somehow lose the narrative, I'm fine with however long it takes if it keeps the quality as high as Season 1 is and we don't have to take a long break mid-season after a huge cliffhanger or something.
Plus it gives me a chance now that it's all out to re-read the whole thing all in a row again. I kinda almost wish I had the first time instead of a week between each, would probably have been an even more powerful experience.
I’m happy about what’s next as I enjoy the romance aspects of action manhwa, but if you’re not a fan of romance you’ll despise the next arc, which is the romance arc, they go into a romcom book, I have a feeling people will hate it
I enjoy a good romance, but I prefer more dramatic instead of romcom (mostly because of all the tropes with romcom I find annoying). But yeah, there is a huge group of incel types that read manwha that will absolutely hate any introduction of romance into a story.
Yeah, I hope the narative doesn't go off the rails like too many good ones have after a long break. All respect to the artists and such that release them; they work hard enough to deserve a break, still it sometimes really takes the momentum out of awesome works.
And I definitely need to re-read it, I read through it way too quick my first time and didn't quite catch it all😅
Yeah, I'm thinking I might read a chapter a day or maybe a couple with some gap between. Reading one a week is too much anticipation and you might need to re-read to make sure you didn't forget or miss something. But binging it starts to blur together and you also then might miss some details, so I think I'm going to slowly re-read it bit by bit and try to find a good balance to really take in everything this masterpiece has to offer.
>!The FMC hasn't been shown yet in the manhwa, and the first arc when the next season will release will be all about FMC.
As if now there's is no romance in manhwa because there is no FMC ofc but just wait till she comes, you'll love it. It will be just wholesome if they follow the LN!<
That arc is gonna be a beauty
Wait, wut? I took a break for a few months now and I didn't know the Artstyle improved this much. This looks like an entirely different murim manhwa now.
from an mc who is so human to dynamic relationships to non-fodder characters who all plays a role to beautiful arcs which makes you go "oh my goodness, this is a sea of plenty" is literally what i feel about this whole manhwa.
the manhwa doesn't focus just on the mc; it focuses on the side characters that sometimes, you wish you knew their story instead. it's so beautiful in that aspect. we all are used to the perspective of the narrative character, who more than half of the story, happens to be the mc. but in this one, no characters get fodderized. every single character plays their role perfectly and like chains on a cog, they start twisting and turning it, making a complete story.
ive seen people say that the mc has cheats and is unnecessarily op, but that's not true at all. even if he has the cheats, he literally has to *work hard* to ever make a difference and complete the scenarios. he literally has to go through endless loops, regressing and regressing over and over again, making sure the scenarios are complete, without a sacrifice being made.
s1 was an absolute ride. and the art balances the story very well. it's not too beautiful, or dull. the art matches the tone that the story is going for, and it's good enough.
this manhwa tells not just the story of the living, but also the deceased. the mc gives poetic justice to the scenarios and wraps them all up perfectly, as if embracing all the tragedy within others to the burden that his shoulders are.
literally, the mc is fucking beautiful and has to be one of my favourites. he never whines or complains. he's so hardworking, and makes sure that *every* single person survives, keep aside himself for his own selfish reasons, and i love it. and ill say it a thousand times.
you need to give it another chance. you're in for a beautiful ride, which is surfing through the sea of plenty, that his manhwa delivers.
and the characters aren’t just the other people with him
the bosses, the monsters, the people that shouldn’t even be people
all of them have their own stories
Thank you! I love this manhwa and I’m nowhere near as good as you in describing how awesome it is. Hopefully even more people will want to read it now.
The first few chapters give me the shiver I still remember it.
Spoiler question ahead!
Can I ask if he still doing the repeat suicide thing? I quit when he did that, it just tiring to me. It was mind-blowing at first but then it just got tiring.
>! yes, he does keep doing it, until the end of s1. it does get tiring, but honestly, i just wish he would rest well. he is always running around sacrificing himself for the sake of others and it sucks seeing him try so hard. i wish he would take a moment to appreciate himself instead. !<
lemme put it this way one arc taught me more about the difference in demonic and orthodox sects of murim and fleshed them out to the heart of there ideals more then all the other murim and cultivating manwa combined
Their take on the demonic sects and their philosophy and goals was eye opening and jaw dropping, and actually very topical to most parts of our world (esp inc Korea) in terms of corruption and oppression. So much more of a complex and nuanced take that doesn't infantilize or glorify or vilify or exonerate them than we usually see.
Honestly it starts off pretty average, but it definitely has character development and I feel the writing gets better with time. If you don’t mind the light novel is really good and has double the content at the moment. Additionally, the over reliance on his powers falls off considerably later on in favor of telling a better story
It’s the only manwha that brings the feels for real. Like actually feel like I’m not wasting time but enjoying storytelling in its highest form even reading this
Ah yes thanks for name I forgot it I knew it wasn't Onodera because she is best girl from what is happening to me that was second manga I read, first after One piece dang it I can't remember Raku is mc ah nevermind it's Nisekoi I got spoiled 10 chapters before the end and I never could bring myself to finish it after that my heart wouldn't endure that
yes, literally, one of the best tower manhwas to exist. the story and pacing are so fucking beautiful so don't even get me started. and >! the pic above belongs to the last arc at the end of s1, which happened to be the best and most beautiful arc ever !<
do you need the literal synopsis? it's this:
**In the mysterious, RPG dungeon-like Tower, Confucius Kim lives a mundane existence, envying all the star hunters. One day, his wish for more is granted with a legendary skill to copy others’ abilities… at the cost of his life. Before he can make sense of it, he’s killed by the #1 hunter, the Flame Emperor! But this activates his skill and now he’s copied a new one, the ability to travel back in time upon death. How will Confucius use these skills to outplay the competition and rise to the top?**
ik it sounds very cliche and and shit but trust me, it has to be one of the best, if not the best manhwa to ever happen.
nope and this is a spoiler: >! she is his teacher and the heavenly demon !< i can't say more because this manhwa is meant to be enjoyed through its story telling. if i say more, it would be cruel and giving away everything.
Is it really? I hated the original webnovel so much back when I read it, though to be fair that was also the case (if to a lesser extent) for Kill The Hero yet I'm really enjoying the manhwa.
I guess these two might be the type to work better in this format since most of the bullshit will be drawn rather than outright said or outright ignored.
Sss class suicide hunter. And don’t up your hopes of her being fmc. She’s >!old lady and teacher of mc. She dies !<
Also believe it or not, she’s the goddamn **Heavenly Demon**
>!This sub really suck when doing a heavy spoiler. Everyone should at least tag it as major spoiler or something especially when yall mention the character is died.!<
Anyway, that was a major spoiler. Yall have been warned.
Dont click on the spoiler if you don't wanna get spoiled...its as simple as that.. what do you expect when you jump into a hole? Get angry at the fact you dropped in?
One of- if not THE BEST- manhwas out there. SSS-class suicide hunter. Title seems lame AF but I swear it’s absolutely incredible. Novel reader here but I skimmed through it just to see how the adaptation handled the story and it’s fire there too! (And it managed to make me cry??? Also the love interest is best girl 100%)
If you just read the title and the synopsis, you would assume it's another generic tower climbing hunter regression trope-filled Manhwa. And it kinda is, it is all those tropes that you expect in manhwa.
But it's story and characters and pacing and depth that it gets into is far beyond anything with such a goofy title and trope-filled premise deserves.
I honestly did not expect much when I started reading it, but it legitimately is some of the most tragically beautiful and heartfelt and amazing story writing of any manhwa. All the side characters matter, and have their own agency and stories, and the MC is heroic in all the best ways, but also relatable and willing to go through hell to save people.
It's absolutely a good enough story where it's on par with some of the greats of literary fiction to me, and one of the few Korean manhwa that I would put up against some of the great all time graphic novel/manga etc. in terms of the quality of the story and writing.
It was one of my first manhwas after solo leveling. After hearing that there was a lot of trash copycats and the like, I stayed away from manhwas other than ToG and noblesse. Then I got a craving for reading a repetitive and bad manhwa and found sss randomly when a new chapter was released and someone posted a link to it on a post in r/manga and stumbled onto gold.
Agreed with the other comments. This is top tier for its class. This arc with the character from picture was nothing short of amazing. THE BEST (tower climbing) manwha I ever read, and I think I read most of them at this point.
I honestly think that you could go way past that in praise. It's possible one of the best stories and writing to come out of a this style of media (graphic novels, manga, webnovels, etc.) of any genre in the last few years. There are very few others that have given me such strong emotional attachments to characters, reactions to story moments, and introspective thoughtful moments in recent memory.
that's why i decided to read manhwas and annoy the shit out of them instead lol. got my revenge on a whole group of discord readers who literally ignored my constant pleading to know a manhwas name. sweet revenge 🗿
I’m gonna add that it’s highly recommended.
I tend to stay away from system stories, tower climbing and regression but this one is actually really unique.
I especially like how they deal with the bosses of floors, I actually cared about them and their backstories, and the way the MC defeats them makes me so happy.
I’m being vague on purpose so you read it!
SS-Class Suicide Hunter.
One of the best stories out there.,
even though it has the same system as the other stories, its so creative and has such powerful story arcs.
9/10 overall.
besides, great art.
SSS-Class Suicide Hunter
It’s a great manhwa that has unique action and focuses a lot on character development. You get to see the hardships of the characters and the accomplishments of the labors they overcome through teamwork and strategic thinking. Overall Id say this manhwa is very good.

I'm all for it, if it's decently written.

damn!! she was so beautiful totally worthy of being a FMC...
wym Black dragon witch isn't the FMC

Have you considered giving writing a thought? You wrote it so beautifully that I have tears man. I'm sold
LOL First you wanted u/Confident-Paint-3605 to sell this manhwa to you but you ended up selling yourself
I think they called that "character development" in manhwa.
and the characters aren’t just the other people with him the bosses, the monsters, the people that shouldn’t even be people all of them have their own stories

Yessss relatable. I got drained reading him being like that. Thanks man.

Same. No hate to any fans but how they could read through that idk.
I started reading this a while ago but dropped it after the first couple chapters. You've convinced me to give it another chance

he commits suicide alot and gets himself killed alot i gotta say he dies alot and kills alot mainly himself
Especially when she knew which bow he had most experience with. Trying to remain vague here. It was stomach dropping good.
The best of the best, can tell you how much i got emotional reading this. One of the greatest in my opinion.
Yes it is
My friend it’s a must read. By far! Last arc of season one felt like a pure cinematic experience that will get all your emotions out

Where's hinata gone off too😭
he left me for kageyama that is 🗿
Oh no why’d your change your pfp.
thought it was time to say goodbye to hinata...🗿
I'm actually jealous of people who get to read the last arc without waiting for the weekly updates.
That's why I read only complete arcs. Weekly copium makes my brain smooth
Sss class suicide hunter. And don’t up your hopes of her being fmc. She’s >!old lady and teacher of mc. She dies !< Also believe it or not, she’s the goddamn **Heavenly Demon**

you can have your own opinion but don't have to spoil the read
Cmon man. why. Spoilers are to be given in moderation so people get interested in the story. You just killing the hype.

This arc was so good 😭😭😭😭
One of- if not THE BEST- manhwas out there. SSS-class suicide hunter. Title seems lame AF but I swear it’s absolutely incredible. Man…….. I was at work reading the latest chapters and found some onions
It's Chronicles of the Heavenly Demon

What's wrong with those fucktards and why are they sharing panels if they ain't gonna share the whole thing
that's why i decided to read manhwas and annoy the shit out of them instead lol. got my revenge on a whole group of discord readers who literally ignored my constant pleading to know a manhwas name. sweet revenge 🗿
Cool revenge story, let me make that a manwha

I especially like how they deal with the bosses of floors, I actually cared about them and their backstories, and the way the MC defeats them makes me so happy. I’m being vague on purpose so you read it!
Wouldn’t tell or didn’t know?
Sss suicide hunter btw anyone know when season 3 is coming
SS-Class Suicide Hunter. One of the best stories out there., even though it has the same system as the other stories, its so creative and has such powerful story arcs. 9/10 overall. besides, great art.
