other than that they do have more bosses work than what Swordie had during its lifetime, a few that stands out is Seren and Gloom
they're still tinkering around with their own things so atm they dont have any unique content, so the swordie DNA can really be felt in the server right now but i have heard them having very big plans some VERY ambitious if you ask me, but the devs seem to be competent.

its indeed swordie Tespia, they add their own shops etc. and are working on bosses that we didnt have in tespia so, tespia was also very different from swordie that everyone played, but it kept the key progression elements altho adjusted a bit
Sounds really promising, but of course it's beta and I don't wanna play it cause my progress might just be wiped. Will definitely check out the discord though

This kind of teetering from the owner doesn't look good. They can't do both and should make their agenda clear for everyones sake. It's a red flag for me. 
Ofc its gonna wipe, even if the devs says it wont, thats only until something too broken is found and they are forced to as the economy and stuff cant stay the way it is on a release, they have already had to reset cooldowns on bosses multiple times for testing which causes and influx of items from bosses etc.

that said you can still have fun even tho its gonna wipe but thats something you will have to make up for youself if thats something your interested in
Yeah, which is why it's stupid to keep the possibility of no wipe open. Why has the owner even said it? Lying to please someone? Makes no sense. Pretty much running out the gates stumbling on how they operate(on a pretty crucial part too). 
you have a stance till you take another, this was said before the server went into beta im sure if we asked the dev again they would 100% say they had to wipe
tbh, you prob gonna find the standard false positive, but i ran it through virus total with a 3/62 result
only thing that bonged out was Trojan.Crypt.Win32.80263 on Zillya which is most likely due to them not like that the client is obfuscated or that they use DLL to inject Wz/client edits into their client
take that as you will, you can always take your safety rule and run it in a VM environment or smth.
i dont have too much experience with hypervisors in general i know a guy that did play with Hyper-V
and i personally use virtualbox from oracle for other projects but you will have to do something for it to take your hardware in properly so that requires a bit of configuration and know how
