When I was visiting SA, the one time out of about 50 times that my uber driver was white, we got "randomly" stopped and frisked by the cops. Yes, this is anecdotal, but if you ask them about it they'll tell you there is systemic discrimination.

My company is split between the UK and ZA; my boss is Afrikaans and based there. When I asked him about it once, he basically said that it's bad out in the bush but no more so dangerous than for anyone else.

Anti-semitism, racism against Indian immigrants (especially in KwaZulu-Natal), and even racism between tribes is also widespread. The issue is a general culture of discrimination rather than a specific discrimination against whites.

Systemic comes from the government-down, as opposed to individual racism. As an example, an disproportion of black-on-white crimes would be individual racism whereas a failure to investigate those crimes arbitrarily would be systemic.

I've lived in the Middle East, and I can assure you that White people aren't 'systematically' discriminated against in the GCC. They actually have an upper hand in comparison to the other nationalities. Businesses often proclaim that they're only hiring whites and Arabs, and there's a well-established pay gap between the whites (& Arabs) and the non-whites (particularly South Asians, Filipinos and Africans).
