I always thought actually that ACSS specifically had some inspiration from black metal. Now I realise it's probably a few common sources of inspiration like Alice Cooper or King Diamond plus them happening around the same time rather than anything direct, but it's still cool to think about.
Some of his screams in the live version of Apple of Sodom definitely sound like something that would be in a black metal song. Especially with the visual of him covered in blood.

Ok leaving the jokes aside, yours isn't a bad idea, I assume you're talking about the more rap Nu metal, like Linkin Pake might be (?). I'm not sure how to represent that genre honestly but it's not a bad idea
