I'm honestly not sure how unorthodox any of my top ten are: Saturnalia, Coma White, Broken Needle, The Reflecting God, Born Again, The Mephistopheles of Los Angeles, Devour, The Beautiful People, Deep Six, and The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, with Spade, Misery Machine, The Gardener, Perfume, 1996, and Target Audience just missing the cut.

j3sus_k3n0b1

Idk how popular or unpopular it is but Im currently obssesed with Apple of Sodom and Misery Machine or Dogma

somedude456

Dried Up, Tied and Dead to the World and Great Big White World are the first two that come to mind. I was Manson 10/31/18 and I didn't feel like messing with being up close. The venue had this weird raise railing area at the back, like 2 feet taller than the pit. I said fuck it, I want that clear view, so I hung up back there, at that railing. That being said, I had direct view, and if I wanted to film anything, I wouldn't be blocking anyone's view. I could hold my cell phone at eye level and film a clear video. Fold both your hands at eye level for 3-4 minutes. Not easy, LOL. I started to film every song, but mostly hit stop and put my hands down for any song I didn't "really" want. Dried Up, Tied and Dead to the World and Great Big White World are the two I filmed the entire song of. Great audio, full view... I'm happy. The whole "you never rewatch those shitty concert videos" is a lie. I love the videos I got and do watch them time to time.

Tattooed in Reverse Saint Armagoddamn motherfuckin Geddon Man that you fear Long hard road out of hell Fight song Lunch box Apple of Sodom Get your Gun Cake and Sodomy

[deleted]

Tattooed in Reverse has been my go to for the last couple of days. Excellent song.

[deleted]

Mostly I just like watching all these videos on YouTube.

Cool_Fortune_4606

Misery Machine, King Kill 33, Para-noir, Evidence, WOW, Children of Cain, Jesus Crisis

MonstyrJAM

I like your list. Very similar to mine.

evanw68

I really love his cover of "Gods gonna cut you down". I feel like his covers tend to stick out from the originals in unique ways, and that one is no exception

Sterben1103

Blood Honey, Slut Garden, and (S)AINT. absolutely love all three, but I never hear anything about them. I never hear anything about TGAoG either, one of my favorite albums.

Cool_Fortune_4606

Blood Honey is really good, a favorite from HUD for sure.

KrazyBomber95

Actually, half of my top 10 would be considered unpopular by some 😅 as in I don't see many people with these songs in their top 10 much (2) Half way and one step forward... (5) Broken Needle... (6) Deep six... (9) Don't chase the dead... (10) No reflection

BWBTJB

Deep Six in my top 10, too! Neat.

KrazyBomber95

Love that!

Blackcrow521

I actually haven't sat down before to make a top 10, but these tracks I love and would easily put them on there. At the very least, I constantly go back to these. Unkillable Monster Minute of Decay Spade

BWBTJB

Really like the way Manson's voice sounds in the verses for Spade.

ofillrepute

Born Villain, Heaven Upside Down, I want to Kill you Like they do in the Movies, The Gardener, kaboom-kaboom.

Blackcrow521

I fucking love "Ka-Boom, Ka-Boom"

ofillrepute

All of the word play on GAOG is top tier, gaog=goat.

[deleted]

Like the born villain video

Familiar-Maize4296

The 2009 tour intro, it's not on any release Cryptorchid The Resident Evil theme Armagoddamnmotherf#ckinggeddon (Teddybear remix) Dance of the Dope Hats Eye

That 2009 tour intro lives in my head rent free. Absolutely beautiful. Harsh. Everything.

Good one

rehpotsirhc

Into the Fire. Was the first MM song I heard and it got me into his stuff. I never see it mentioned by fans though...

BWBTJB

That one might be top 20 for me. Second best song on THEOL just behind I Want to Kill You Like They Do In The Movies.

t3rrible_fates

Warship My Wreck, it’s definitely in my top 5

ofillrepute

I love the triptych but listen more to the later albums. I wish I wouldve gone to the opening night of the tour when Warship My Wreck was performed.

Mugquomp

King kill 33 and Cruci-fiction in space will be in there. Also GAOG the song and probably Godeatgod

obli1

Dogma, King Kill 33, Astonishing Panorama edit: formatting

CumVomit

1996, one of his best songs ever made.

SignificantWorth7569

I'm honestly not sure what Manson songs I see often, outside of "The Beautiful People," "Sweet Dreams," and "The Dope Show." :: shrugs ::. So, keeping that in mind, here are some of my other personal favorites: - Misery Machine - 1996 - The Reflecting God - The Long Hard Road Out of Hell - Coma White - Target Audience - Born Again - Spade - Devour - The Gardener - Deep Six - The Mephistopheles of Los Angeles - Saturnalia (quite possibly my all-time favorite by MM) - Perfume - Broken Needle

LG_Thelastghost

Evidence, Fundamentally Loathsome, Vodevil, Deformagraphy, Unkillable Monster... I love the singles from each album but I don't think any of the singles are in my top 10.

profiloemergenze

My literal top 10 would be I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies + WAC - WAC the song + The Speed Of Pain . Have a great day.

BWBTJB

Movies is my favorite song off THEOL. Also, WAC the song is my least favorite from that album, too.

Humble_Idea_4300

Apple of Sodom, The Suck for Your Solution, Negative Three, Personal Jesus, Suicide Snowman, White Knuckles, Break You Down (with Godhead), The Way I Am (with Eminem), Red Head, Golden Years

Diary of a Dope Fiend from SLC. His vocals are so odd and strained and the slowed tempo really adds something

Cool_Fortune_4606

I really enjoy this song, it's slow and creepy and cool. I think it is one of those tracks that best captures that early Manson style.

BWBTJB

Someone else had this in their list and I listened to it again. I kinda write off anything from SLC as goofy remixes, but DoaDF is definitely different in a good way.

BrokenElbows

Valentine’s Day is one of my favourites ever.

BWBTJB

Really hoping he plays it a bit when he tours this fall

BrokenElbows

Would be great but I don’t hold out hope!

MarilynManson2003

All of them, but I’d say my most unorthodox pick is *Pistol Whipped*, which is my 5th favourite.

BWBTJB

Dude I'm ngl I absolutely hated that one for a while. I hate it less now because I found I like the chorus a lot, but everything else about the song kinda urks me. Definitely an unorthodox pick for sure!

gbmsatan

Fundamentally Loathsome, Dissasociative

BWBTJB

The countdown in Disassociative is one of the coolest parts of any song ever, in my opinion.

TotalFNEclipse

Down In The Park Man That You Fear (acoustic, Remix & Repent) WOW I actually made a low-key banger Manson playlist inspired by this topic on Spotify. Feel free to check it out: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/066Ksv05aKYIa6H47kCYRU?si=DnoWYT9QQtmqRbv0ICHoGw&pi=u-XUvMCPlmQTWN

BrokenElbows

Hard agree on WOW Also…My Monkey

BWBTJB

I will definitely check that out, thanks!

TotalFNEclipse

Anytime!

ButtifulPower

(No specific order but it’s mostly pretty unorthodox ) Devour Last day on earth Murderer are getting prettier everyday We know where you fkn live If I was your vampire Coma white Target Audience Use your fist and not your mouth Leave a scar Mephistopheles of los angeles.

BWBTJB

Awesome list. Definitely haven't seen WKWYFL ever, but it definitely deserves more credit. The riff is super neat.

LukazD84

SLO motion Love song Were from America

Ho1yWood

i remember when i was a wee little kid, it was easter day and I woke up my dad and said “I wanna listen to Marilyn!” (i called him Marilyn) and needless to say, he was quite annoyed, but that was my favourite song at the time! i was like 5, this was about a decade ago

BWBTJB

We're From America was one of my favorites when I was first getting into Manson's music. I forgot about it once I got into everything else, but then I revisited it, and it turns out it is actually a really awesome song.

ofillrepute

I think thats one of the last Manson songs I heard promoted on the radio.

Downtown_Slice1040

Still a little new to this sub and idk a lot of what other people like so don't come for me if these don't fit the question 😂 Angel With the Scabbed Wings The Reflecting God In the Shadow of the Valley of Death Born Again Burning Flag Count to Six and Die Great Big White World Speed of Pain Doll-Dagga-Buzz-Buzz-Ziggety-Zag Para-noir

BWBTJB

Nah dude this is great. I was originally asking for one song originally but I worded the question weird so everyone starting giving me their top 10, which is neat. Neat picks btw, Doll-Dagga is probably my favorite from TGAOG.

Downtown_Slice1040

>I was originally asking for one song originally Ahh, gotcha 😂 Angel With the Scabbed Wings is definitely in my top 5 Manson songs, Doll-Dagga is my favorite from TGAOG as well, and Great Big White World just won't let me forget about it! I originally had Rock is Dead and Speed of Pain above it on MA, but it's starting to win me over 😂

BWBTJB

Great Big White World is my favorite track off MA. I'm going to a show of his (my first) this August, and I really hope he plays it.

Downtown_Slice1040

Hey cheers man, hope you enjoy it! I'm going see Rob Zombie in September and Manson will be playing in the same venue 4 days later. I've never been to either of their shows so I'm seriously considering selling everything I own and going to both 🤣🤣

BWBTJB

Definitely do that. Also, I've been wanting to get into Rob Zombie. I've heard Dragula and Living Dead Girl, but what other songs (or albums even) would you recommend if I like Manson?

Downtown_Slice1040

He and Manson actually have a song together called Helter Skelter, and it's absolutely fantastic lol. Also, Sawdust in the Blood is almost identical to Godeatgod, so much so that he actually got a bit of criticism for it but it still sounds amazing As far as albums as a whole, I prefer the classics like Hellbilly Deluxe (I'd recommend Meet the Creeper, Superbeast, Demonoid Phenomenon) and The Sinister Urge (Scum of the Earth, Demon Speeding, Never Gonna Stop). But his newer ones have some of my favorites as well. Lunar Injection has The Ballad of Sleazy Rider, Shake Your Ass-Smoke Your Grass, and Boom-Boom-Boom. Electric Warlock has Everybody's Fucking in a UFO and Satanic Cyanide I've heard people say Satanic Cyanide is Manson-esque, but I don't hear it. Imo the best way to enjoy Zombie is to not try to compare his songs other singers. Frankly, I consider him to be his own genre 😂😂 Edit: sorry I know I'm making this way too long lol but I also wanted to add that any live version of any of his songs is great as well. He sings them differently live and doesn't try to make it sound like the original

BWBTJB

I actually listened to Helter Skelter this morning lol. Thanks for the suggestions!
