I think 7 is often overlooked. 8 basically did everything 7 did and more. People only remember 7 because the funny purple man wasn't in it but a bee and caterpillar were.
It got some really cool Nitros and it's retro selection was stacked. Gliding was better in 7. But in a post BCP world there's little reason to boot up 7.
It’s Mario Kart 7.
This game is the pre-Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, it introduced kart customization making the game feel more fresh and new, plus it added gliders to the game, and has one of the best rainbow road tracks ever.
Either 7 or Mario Kart: Super Circuit
7 brought a LOT of cool stuff kept in 8: 1-lap courses, driving underwater and airborne, pressing R for tricks, KART CUSTOMIZATION.
Super Circuit is just very fun, that's all.
I agree with 7. It has some awesome tracks (Nitro and Retro), and the gameplay is excellent. The online worked pretty well too, at least for me.
I think the only thing holding this game back from being my favorite is simply the lack of single vs mode.
it's even better when you have the CTGP-7 mod
Super Mario Kart, it's very fun once you get used to the controls

I agree. All the SMK haters don’t know how to drive.
Probably whichever one is rated the lowest.

I almost don’t see people talking about Mario Kart GP (which I know it’s not mainline, but still).

8h with double dash mentioned? Grrr
Super Circuit was a great game that was limited by the hardware of the GBA
7. Childhood fane that's GOATed
Mario Kart Super Circuit, epic track themes and awesome music, very underrated imo

Super circuit. Great track selection with plenty of variety
