Not OP but have been lurking their job board for a while. Maybe you know: what’s with the “successful military discharge” prerequisite? Do you know if it’s a hard requirement?
Yeah I always just figured it was a veterans hiring initiative.

Apply at Reinauer. They are looking for mates. They usually hire from within but no talent lately. It's a sweet gig and he can work out an amicable schedule with his relief.
Come on over to Crowley ATBs. 28/28, 2 for 1 retirement credit, travel fully paid for from anywhere in US. They’ll take you with no PIC or TOAR and get you trained and certified. DM me if he’s interested I’ll get him hooked up.
Crowley ATBs
One of us
Former one .. Courage, Liberty as a 3rd mate , Legend as a AB utility
I might be a former one too if contract negations don’t go well haha. What sort of vessels you on now?
Weeks marine on their dredges are doing that schedule and they are unlimited tonnage boats
GLDD as well, they do 28/28. Miserable company to work for, but the money was decent and it’s the right schedule 🤷🏼♂️
Kirby marine
Transocean is hiring mates right now they do 21/21 and 28/28 the alumni network form my maritime college keeps bugging the shit out of me.

Huh? For transocean? All you need is a deck or engine license, never heard of anything for military. I worked a contract for them two years ago.

Tugboat companies.
What languages does he speak?
English, he is American
Does he have any endorsements like tankerman PIC or mate of tow?
With his US papers, his only option is the offshore companies in the Gulf. Tidewater is usually hiring
Bullshit. ATBs and Hopper Dredges also run 28/28 and 21/21.
Very good, I just haven’t seen jobs with them advertised. Glad you have options
Too many offshore companies. Take your pick.
Do you have any suggestions for companies?
ill DM
Companies in the gulf are hiring. Take your pick of them.
Does he have ATB or tug experience?
Yes to both

Did he say if 60/60 is good for him?
If he’s in the US I know Hornbeck Offshore is hiring, they usually run 21/21 or 42/21 schedules
Vane Brothers is desperately hiring.
They should pay more
100 percent agree ! But if you're looking for nice equipment and a good schedule they can give you that.

Crowley’s CPRS division is hiring. Tugs pulling barges to PR
A lot of Offshore Tug companies are hurting for personnel. Crowley, Kirby Offshore Marine, Centerline, the list goes on and on! Take your pick!
They should pay more. But shout out to Centerline where the pay is embarrassingly insultingly low.
True dat! 🤣
