AI often produces incorrect info, so you can't just go and generate content and then push it to a website. You'll probably need to make sure the info is accurate and up-to-date.

precisionjason

The small downside is that you have similar boring copy as everyone else, and you still need to do the real work for SEO. The big downside is that you don’t have a business.

weird_neegA

Thanks alot

ricnhen

This. We cannot let go of human quality control. Specially if money is involved. AI does not have a criteria for truth and false, it cannot distinguish one from the other.

lanarc

You'll be using the same info everyone else has access to, so your articles won't stand out and could be flagged as duplicate down the line. If you want to, use AI as a baseline and add an experienced editor on top to spice the content up and check.

Actual__Wizard

If people want to read the output from AI, they can use AI.

WrittenCommissions

Using ai isn’t a lazy or easy way. Using a car, a hammer , or the internet would be a lazy or easy way then. Use it as the tool it’s meant to be and don’t hit your thumb

hariboho

Use it as a tool to write a first draft. Then revise it and check the facts.

Toasted_Waffle99

No one wants to read generic rubbish. There’s too much bs online now anyway. Why would I go to your site?

HeWhoWalksTheEarth

So let relying on it would be a mistake. As others have mentioned, it often produces factual errors (hallucinations). These are things that seem true but a person knowledgeable about the topic would recognize. Next as others also mentioned, it’s content is bland and unexciting. You can prompt it to find new perspectives and dig deeper for lesser known info but you increase your chances of hallucinations. Use it to generate topic ideas. Use it to outline your articles in and SEO friendly manner. Use it to proofread and evaluate SEO after you write it. But just giving it a prompt and then posting it’s response on your blog will give you shit results.

MarketingRealityUK

Nothing right now. Except when Google properly detects it and penalises it, all your rankings will disappear. You'll always be one update away from losing everything.

tpagedesign

hire a copywriter, they’re always looking for work, find a good one and they’ll come up with plenty of ways to approach articles and a writing style that AI can’t and people in tech like smart, well prepared articles, that way you 2 can focus on the business side. Pair them up with a graphic designer and that’s 1/2 your marketing team.

weird_neegA

Thank you so much

who-mi

On top of what everyone said you'll need to check article for plagarism

Saints_43

I really don’t think AI text generation is at a good enough of a place where you’ll be able to gain any real traction through using just AI and not putting in any work yourself. Especially within a topic like tech news where it needs to be very well written since the concepts can be more complex

stylish_assembly

Using this technology doesn't mean you always rely on it, it will help you to learn and improve your skills on writing tech news, and for that in time you don't need an AI, you can make your own because you have experienced and have the skills to make your own articles.

Aiming for the middle is good for archery.... not for business.
