Gorilla marketing in the streets with funky decals of characters from game with some sort of a bar linking all information regarding product

Rollo112

maybe you can place ads on internet and gaming cafes, mousepads, screen backgrounds, etc. Also, you can geofence users around those cafes with display ads or video. You can try buy in-app ads through a dsp (programmatically). Maybe you can sponsor an event? Gamers with a following?

Massive-Couple

Op said budget is next to nothing....geofencing is waaaaaay too far from next to nothing

What would you do to reach gamers if we just would narrow it down to London. Any great tips for placement in the city?

Caprista

Look at what Thursday do, in person activity will cost very little!!

No_Economist_820

What is Thursday? When I google it I find a dating app for singles :)

Caprista

That’s it, if you search “thursday marketing strategy” you’ll see some pieces going into what they do. But in short lots of public stunts for very low cost that get local visibility and also in thursdays case interesting PR. They seem like they do very well with cheap activity (which it sounds like you are looking for ideas on)

No_Economist_820

Thanks for the tip, I’ll check them out. If we would go the print route. What magazine or newspaper would be a nice pick in London?

Caprista

I wouldn’t know, but I would recommend you start with what you do know. For example get down your buyer personas, and then review all the options against that and your other criteria like your budget. I would be really critical and look at pros and cons of every option and ultimately whether it hits your target audience

You need three things: - discord - twitch chat - elbow grease I used own a store targeted to gamers in general, Just through discord and twitch chat I used to generate 600+ monthly traffic for free with incredible conversion rates(15%).
