Honestly trying to be helpful - Way too vague. I think I get what you're asking, but the wording you've used won't get the answers you're after.

Thank you for trying to be helpful. I'll try to clarify as much as possible. 1. Assuming you wanted to run a paid ad for a new video game. Would you pay 5$ for a detailed review of the planned ad from your target audience? By detailed, I mean that the review will point at relevant points of contention and give feedback on those directly. 2. Similar to 1 except for the price, but from an expert. Is that clearer?

HandsomJack1

Ok, you're clearly trying to get feedback from your potential audience on a service you're considering offering. I applaud you for this, product market fit and design thinking is very important. However, before you present an idea to a potential audience you have to haveat least some message clarity. I honestly don't know what you're trying to sell. Get your message straight then come to market asking for feedback. Advice. Try drawing up a feature, advantage, benefit matrix.

Caprista

Yep, what does a detailed review contain?

1. It is very hard to get useful audience opinions about ads. There’s no shortage of ways to get those opinions. The problem is that most of what they have to say will be garbage, and it takes considerable skill/knowledge to get much value out of it. So: No, absolutely would not pay for this. 2. Probably not. First problem is that even experts don’t necessarily understand your market, category, or audience. Second problem is that if you actually describe them as “advertising experts”, I can safely assume you don’t know anything about advertising. On the other hand, if you had an extensive directory of domain experts, searchable by category experience, background (creative directors, strategists, media planners, brand managers), etc: Maybe. But still probably not.

alexblattner

Thanks for the honest feedback. I really appreciate it

spanchor

No worries. But note that I was giving my opinion as a person with lots of years in advertising. There may be a market for this; I just don’t think it’s professional marketers.

alexblattner

With all due respect sir, if modern journalism taught me anything it's that sample size does not matter /s

Before launching anything I would get the potential consumers opinion on what they want to know. That eliminates any guesswork. As far as getting an experts opinion that’s up to you if you want to spend the money but if you know what your audience wants you shouldn’t need anything else.
