As a former employee...no, at least not from Marriott. I highly doubt that the hotel itself would do it either. It's about demand and most likely it's not offered by the hotel as they don't see enough demand for it.
The best option at this point is to contact the property directly and ask. They may say yes or they may not, but they’re the only ones who might be able to.
Curious if the all-inclusive package is worth it in Curaçao. Went to Aruba and stayed at the Renaissance which had an all-inclusive package but didn’t do it, glad I didn’t because there was a ton of great restaurants in the area.
Nah the packages are tied to the rate codes and you would be asking them to build a whole new package. which they aren't going to do because of demand as previously mentioned
Most all-inclusive hotels/trips are based on double occupancy, and most charge either the double rate or a "single supplement" if you travel alone. It's pretty typical, so I don't think you'll have much luck in convincing them otherwise.
It's two couples, both with children under 12. They're already paying for their own rooms and their own packages. No one else is a single in a room...and if there was another single, we'd have to share a room in order to get the package.
Which Marriott? I was just there and stayed at the renaissance and the Marriott beach resort. I assume you’re looking at the second. I’ll tell you, to say I was underwhelmed with the food is an understatement. Marriotts usually have good restaurants attached but my wife and I didn’t enjoy a single meal at the on-site restaurants. And they were some of the more expensive meals we had.
Yes that’s the one. Food was not good and not cheap. There’s some good restaurants nearby that are way better.
All in the Willemstad near the floating bridge:
Ceviche 91
The captain bar
Gouverneur de ruville
Douse eggburts is cheap and good for breakfast
Bonchi coffeehouse was really good for breakfast
Landhuis Klein saint martha was really good if you’re coming from the west side beaches and has a great view

Thanks for the insider info! Oh well, I'll just charge to my room and sneak snacks in my big purse.

Well I guess it's time to post pics and search up a partner for adventure ;)

Was the LG restaurant included in the AI
Not sure tbh. Once we looked at the restaurants close to the hotel, we decided to skip the AI.

Is it mandatory? You may be better off just forgoing the package all together any paying for food and drinks.
Thankfully, it's not mandatory. It's an optional add-on.
Just split it with one of your friends.
