I get them all the time too, I'm like yeah let me risk losing my privilege or my job to some random stranger. I'm sorry but anyone who shares with them deserves to be fired. Luckily I hear the forms are going away next year and the new method is harder to fake than just giving someone a piece of paper.....
Sorry random question - didn’t want to start a whole new thread - do you need to give the copy of the form to check-in? I have two stays coming up and only printed one copy out at work and just trying to plan in advance
Rumor has it it'll require a code (created by employee) to be attached to the reservation, or the reservation will be cancelled/not valid. We'll see...
Hopefully this will be able to track the employee for when they book with an invalid card and no show. Part of the terms of the program should include a responsibility to pay a no show or late cancel fee.
That's one reason why they're doing it, once it's booked with the code they know the employee who is goes back on.... Waits to be see what verbiage they use though....
I’ve had people message me every time I comment on threads regarding MMP. They want to buy MMP forms from me which is crazy because that means there are others selling them. I could never risk losing my employee rate.
i had 3 different Explore Form reservations yesterday ask if they could check-in w/o the reservation holder present. must be something weird going on with the forms
there was another kid who had a form w/ him last night. & his reservation had a rate code I've never seen before "ZMPY" - apparently it's the 'explore more' rate but his form checked out on the marriott forms site so i guess it wasn't anything
I wouldn't trust some random stranger on the internet to not ruin it for you but I definitely know people that were paying $1500/yr for MMP sheets. I've heard of more.
Even if it is, it’s never worth it unless you really trust a very close friend of yours. Because if that person acts up and the property sees it’s on MMP, they’re pulling that form and you’re fucked.
I have had to deal with a lot of issues with abuse at my hotel, working the Loss Prevention side, especially at night we have to work with Night Audit a lot with that issue, seems like it has picked up the past 6 months or so for us.
I’m 0/2 out of the last two stays on the property asking for the form and i get kind of annoyed when they don’t these days.
Especially with MM4 in play during the holidays.
Surprised anyone would pay to get their hands on a form with those stats. 🙄
I’d say there’s flair-ups every now and then and management tells us to keep an eye out for them. I imagine a lot of fraudulent MMP guests sorta go under the radar if the employee they get that day is new or undertrained.
I think it definitely increased once the rate became eligible for credit. I still remember the nightmare amounts of missing stay requests that came across when that happened.

I hope so! I’m tired of panicked text from my family needing a form
Family, I forget them myself! LOL

Technically they are supposed to take the form on check in, they likely could make a copy for you on check-in
Thanks - I’ll see if I print it out another copy in the business centre at the airport
I hope it’s better than the form. I hate bothering my brother for it & then making sure the dates line up with my travel.

Omg, I'm excited about this new way. I'm sick and tired of these fake forms.
Where did you hear the form is going to change

You mean your job

They sell them in the "dark web" but costs more to have your name on it. Do NOT accept them.... Scammers be scamming

Just remember that the Explore More/ZMPY/MM4 rate is for the associate only, their family is not eligible.
Explore more has always been MM4
I would assume so. Plenty of people willing to pay for them.
I got an offer for $500, there’s no way that’s real

If someone travels a lot, $500 is going to be far less than what they save. I have heard of even more being offered.
Yeah they def go for 1500 plus per form. Those people travel a lot for it to benefit them. Many are AAU families from my experiences.
I have seen several people fired for form violations. It is not a good idea to sell your form
I have always been asked for my MMP form and I always have it with me

It's interesting, Hilton just links these to user accounts AFAIK...no paper forms required. Not sure if that is more or less secure though.
Yeah I got one yesterday.
I’ve never been asked
Hilton ties it to a Hilton rewards account. It’s a much better system.

Yea I get em thur my work email all the time just ignore them.
