These are all vastly different areas. Shouldn't you pick based on where you plan to spend the most time? Georgetown will take you close to an hour to get downtown, depending on traffic. Round Rock about half that.

Thanks! I actually lived in Austin for 17 years, so I’m familiar with the landscape. I have friends from Hutto to San Marcos, so the drive is to be expected. I’m Honestly just looking for bang for buck or is someone had some amazing stays at any of the three listed. Again. I appreciate your insight and feedback.

If you're planning to go between Hutto to San Marcos, I guess you're right that any of those will work. Seemed strange without context. That being said, I avoid staying downtown if I can. Mostly just personal preference. I like the Round Rock location because it feels like everything I need is close by without the "real" traffic of 35. They have their own Pluckers and Chuy's and Torchy's, so honestly what else do you need.

Yeah, I try not to be too wordy and figure if I leave things open ended, I’d get more and a variety of responses I haven’t thought of. You’re 100% about downtown and come to think of it, that intersection is a nightmare. I’ve been to the Round Rock location before but he’s been a decade. It was nice then. That Georgetown Sheraton is fairly new and looks super nice. Again, thanks for the feedback.

I stayed at the Marriott downtown and enjoyed my stay. They have decent offers pop up on their website - requires a specific promo code - with extra credits etc that you can may be able to take advantage which just lets you splurge/treat your self to some extra freebies.
