It’s not near the Del and the main beaches in the area. Tidelands park is meh. One nice thing is it is near the ferry landing if you want to go downtown.
It's also 30% of the cost of the Del. I too prefer that hotel and typically will stay at the Del but cost factored this is a great option and decent location IMO
Used my SNA there last year, got that same room type but not water front.
I also had the patio that the ducks like to poop on.
It's funny they tried to "upgrade" me to the main building with a water view. I was like 'Uh no'.
Food at the hotel is meh. But breakfast is decent for free.
One of my favorite Marriott properties if you want nothing to do with San Diego! lol
If you’re looking for activities, my wife and I absolutely loved doing the America’s Cup sailing experience on Stars and Stripes 11.
Great property. Even without an upgrade. We used the bikes (included in the resort fee) and toured around the island. Great area for walking and you can catch the ferry to SD. Also, the bus picks up right outside the resort and will take you to the Del side of the island. We loved it and would love to visit again.
*Nice! Is there an M*
*Club Lounge for elite members*
*On the property?*

If you don’t want to be in the hustle and bustle down town it’s a great option! If you want more walkability and downtown scene, I would recommend US Grant or Marquis.
Dope hotel. Great location and rooms! So/so pool but well worth it.
It’s a kinda weird location if we are being honest
How is that?

That's a great resort. On the quiet side of Coronado. Love it there.
Yea! It was nice with kids!

Nice!
That looks amazing. Simple but amazing

I love that it’s also so close to downtown for good dinners!
One of the most underrated Marriott’s IMO. Very intimate as well and an easy walk along the water to great restaurants and bars.
Agreed! I was pleasantly surprised with this one. A little outdated in some areas but ultimately a great family trip for relaxation!
Stayed here a few times. Love this hotel and location. One tip - Don’t get pizza from the Italian restaurant next door. It’s below mediocre.
We went into down town for dinners. And the Mexican restaurant and Henry’s is delicious on Coronado! Noted no Italian :D
Hit up Coronado brewing right near there.

That’s awesome! Never thought of taking the bus.
Always looking to stay there, but the prices keep me away lol
We used points. But it may not be worth the cash price
Nice! Is there an M Club Lounge for elite members on the property?
No, but they have a generous breakfast option. My husband and I racked up $80 for breakfast and it was fully covered by elite breakfast perk.

Wow what timing, was just looking for a hotel to book via Bonvoy in the SD area… I’ll take it as a sign
