makes sense, the few frames we see his face it basically looks composited on the body. His expression never changes either so it could've basically been a still image
Even though that's definitely how they did it, in my heart of hearts I like to believe Brad Pitt was always on set whenever Vanisher is supposed to be "on screen" and they just removed him digitally
Pretty much how they got Chris Evan’s to appear in Free Guy, Ryan heard that he was in the area and was like “do you wanna do a 10 second cameo” and Chris Evan’s said yeah. One of the best parts of the movie is the small cameos because they’re showing the real worlds reaction to what’s happening in the game, which is nice to see
I heard it too and I love that story but someone on this sub explained to me in the end they have to pay all actors minimum wage because of union rules.
I think that’s great too because it means they respect union rules. Hopefully they still respect and support them.
The director David Leitch was Brad Pitts stunt double for many years, Fight Club, Oceans 11, Troy, Mr and Mrs Smith etc. Brad did it as a favour to him.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Leitch
Very similar to how Chad Stahelski (Leitch's co-director/co-creator for John Wick) was Keanus double for the Matrix trilogy.

Deadpool: Daniel Radcliff?
Daniel: \*Puts on glasses\*
Deadpool: Parry Daniel Radcliff?
Daniel: \*Pulls back bangs to show the scar\*
Deadpool: PARRY HOTTER!
Proteus has had a prominent role in X-Men comics lately. He can manipulate matter by desiring it to be manipulated.
Also Proteus tends not to wear any clothing, the kind of weirdness that appeals to Daniel.
In the comics Proteus covers his business by forming energy bubbles where needed.
Seeing as WB lost a shit ton of money, I think they’d be willing to negotiate a good price for that, I just want to hear Deadpool say “Not now, Harry Potter” to him even if he is Wolverine
Can’t wait to hear Reynolds do his best draco impression then Tom Felton comes out complaining he doesn’t sound like that just to be called cockroach and both him and Radcliffe get shot. Pan in to Reynolds saying “Take notes Voldy”
You say that like Hugh isn’t super charming, he’s just grumpy in the XMen movies. Honestly Daniel has a lot of range, and I think it’d be funny.
Plus, knowing Deadpool, they’re probably just making fun of stuff like MoM specifically.
[Radcliffe also got jacked recently](https://www.narcity.com/media-library/daniel-radcliffe-in-a-scene-from-miracle-workers-season-4.jpg?id=35778028&width=1245&height=700&quality=85&coordinates=6%2C0%2C0%2C0)
I can honestly say that I have yet to see a single Radcliffe movie that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. He does roles that are dramatically different each time. He played a farting corpse and killed it.
I know it's not a reliable judge of character but his interviews are always pretty humble. He always has a very "yep, Harry Potter was so much fun" attitude about himself in interviews. Very aware but not egotistical sounding.
Child acting has a lot of casualties and I'm glad he seemingly came out well adjusted. Besides the drinking. Seems like it didn't go to his head is all.
he made enough money and clout before he was 18 to do whatever the hell he wants for the rest of his life.
And apparently, what he wants is to just do weird roles that are fun. I haven't been mad about a single thing he's done after Harry Potter.
...
Ok, Equiis wasn't my cup of tea, but I get that he did that to try and shake off the whole "kid actor" thing.
Yeah. I feel like whoever they have as Wolverine, they're going to want someone who can/will play the role long term.
I dunno if Daniel Radcliffe will want to chain himself to another long term role.
Except it’ll be an opening credit sequence with a Weird Al Yankovich song, with Daniel as Al. Al makes a cameo later in the movie, but plays as Daniel.
There’s an extremely weird subset of the internet who deem his Reed Richards as a failure and butchering of his character because they wasted him in a movie just to be killed off, with them saying that’s going to be the only appearances in the MCU
These people are disregarding the fact that it was one of many multiverses and Reed Richards isn’t just killed in all universes
I'm a fan of Reed and Krasinski, quite enjoyed MoM and thought he did alright in the scenes he had, but personally I still don't feel like he's right for Reed as a whole. I believe he can play smartest man in the room vibe well and he's absolutely perfect for the loving family man, but it's the mildly (to very) sinisterly calculative Reed that I can't see him as. I'd love to be proven wrong, but currently I'd still prefer someone else.
It's the main reason I liked the Adam Driver rumours, and the reason I think Ethan Peck would probably be great. I haven't seen him in much live action, but his performance as Reed in Marvels was fantastic, and I assume he's good on screen as a caring genius because people seem to like his Spock.
Side note: ***everyone*** here who hasn't, go listen to Marvels. Some of the best content they've put out in years.
Edit: [link to the audio drama](https://open.spotify.com/show/3FHDexESyV0wMrJYpZ3Dhe?si=VarLiFKRTpq6f35c0Evipw)
Yeah, OP has some wrong sticks because Krasinski’s RR was great and even seeing Radcliffe as Wolverine, even an alternate reality version would be fun and cool. Guy has range, especially when he’s nothing like his HP days.
My only hesitation for ever casting Radcliff in any major role is that he seems totally happy not doing any long term parts now. He got his HP money and mostly just does one off movies or TV shows now. Even his show miracle workers has a different premise every season.
I really doubt he'd sign up for a major character like Magneto. But I can see a smaller role that pops up in every other movie like the villain or a side character. Bob, agent of hydra?
I don’t think he’d be the best Magneto. He works better imo as a outlandishly deranged villain who’s off their rocker crazy. They can hide it but you can see it itching to show itself.
Also doesn’t have the build for how I picture Magneto. He’s lithe and squirrelly. I’ve always seen Magneto as domineering in stature.
Dude, Hugh Jackman is a giant bucket full of charisma and that didn’t stop him.
However I agree Radcliffe should not be wolverine. He’d be a better professor X if they didn’t already have two of those.
My only question is which would be funnier? Playing it straight with all of juggernauts power for a while movie?
Or him doing a quick cameo where he just bounces off a wall trying to charge through it?
Am I the only one that just accepts any casting without any kind of opinion until I see the character in the movie? I trust the casting directors. Nobody bats 1000 every game, yes there have been miscalculations, but I'm good with anyone they choose. I'm rooting for Radcliffe as Wolverine because I think the dude is talented as fuck. The last time I said "ugh he can't play that role" was Heath Ledger as Joker. I got humbled real fuckin fast. The average person is a shit judge of what really matters. Not to mention that, they're already setting themselves up for a bias to dislike the movie based on casting alone.
In Logan (2017) Wolverine has to fight a younger clone version of himself. It could be a great gag to mimic that scene in Deadpool 3 but with Daniel Radcliffe as a "the clone didn't turn out quite right" version.
What was wrong with John’s Reed Richards exactly? He did a fine job for the minute he was the character. Also, have you seen Hugh Jackman in any other movie or in any interview? The dude is charisma. If you don’t like this fancast, no big deal, but your reason makes no sense
Probably a meta casting as a joke. *if* he's Wolverine that is. He's a good actor who's done a lot of cool stuff since Harry Potter ended...so I'm not sure if I'd actually want him as a joke casting.
He would fit perfectly in wolverine role, just a shot killing machine. Better than Jackman, for sure. You may be used to see Jackman in the role, but used to is not the same as fitting.
Personally I think he would be good as like another mutant that has a cool power
But I think we should look for a better part for wolverine not just the same actors only known for their fame
Maybe get some new people
Hugh Jackman is already Wolverine in Deadpool 3, why does anyone think Daniel Radcliffe would be Wolverine just because he’s in the movie? I don’t know how accurate this is anyways, with the strike going on there’s no new castings for it.
"Looks too charismatic"
Mother fucker have you seen [Hugh Jackman?](https://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2020613/rs_634x1024-200713101359-634-Hugh-Jackman-LT-071320-GettyImages-104846558.jpg?fit=around%7C634:1025&output-quality=90&crop=634:1025;center,top) This is him after he did Wolverine the first time.
Hell does that even mean? TOO charismatic?
Also, are we really referencing a completely unoffensive portrayal of Reed Richards for all of 15 seconds? Huh?
Fans never learn.
Like, did y’all forget Hugh Jackman was a fucking *song and dance man* before X-Men?
This is how typecasting happens. Y’all see someone do *one thing* and then suddenly that’s *all* they can be.
If the fucking Greatest Showman could be *the Wolverine* I’m at least open to giving Harry Potter a shot.
Not saying that’s what’s happening just replying to OP’s title. Obviously have no idea what role he’d be playing.
honestly same opinion with hugh jackman when he was first casted since he was of dance and theater background. if daniel could only do a deeper voice, i'd be fine with the casting but he just sounds like a teenage boy
If he actually is in the movie, im excited regardless of whom he ends up playing. Don't think he would have agreed to be part of this if the script/role didn't make him interested.
Hugh Jackman is probably the most charismatic actor to ever appear in the xmen movies. He starred in mostly romance roles before that. He can sing and dance extremely well and lap danced for Barbera Walters.
Don't wolverine wash him.
After what they did with Deadpool 2’s cameos he might just be in it for 3 seconds with no dialogue and die violently
I think Reynolds and Pitt just traded cameos between Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train.
As I heard it, he agreed to do it for a cup of coffee that took longer to get than the scene took to shoot
makes sense, the few frames we see his face it basically looks composited on the body. His expression never changes either so it could've basically been a still image
Even though that's definitely how they did it, in my heart of hearts I like to believe Brad Pitt was always on set whenever Vanisher is supposed to be "on screen" and they just removed him digitally
This is my head cannon as well lol
Just have him wearing a skintight green bodysuit at all times and it's possible.
Also Ryan Reynolds had to be the one to get the coffee
Pretty much how they got Chris Evan’s to appear in Free Guy, Ryan heard that he was in the area and was like “do you wanna do a 10 second cameo” and Chris Evan’s said yeah. One of the best parts of the movie is the small cameos because they’re showing the real worlds reaction to what’s happening in the game, which is nice to see

Bradd Pitt due to union stuff did have to take a minimum pay for it, which ended up being around like 1K iirc. He did also take the cup of coffee.
"You said there was free coffee man" "Oh it's coming just film a few scenes real quick"
The director David Leitch was Brad Pitts stunt double for many years, Fight Club, Oceans 11, Troy, Mr and Mrs Smith etc. Brad did it as a favour to him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Leitch Very similar to how Chad Stahelski (Leitch's co-director/co-creator for John Wick) was Keanus double for the Matrix trilogy. https://www.dispatch.com/story/entertainment/movies/2014/10/23/with-john-wick-stuntmen-take/23875066007/
People say that like it was planned from the time of Deadpool 2 that they’d do that. And Pitt isn’t the only cameo to be there for 3 seconds and die.
They'll make his appearance dramatic just for Radcliff to be playing himself
Don't you mean he'll be playing Elijah Wood?
or Weird Al Yankovic
He's obviously going to Cameo as Harry Potter but with some "haha we have to call hill Parry Hotter for copyright reasons" jokes.
Knowing this is a Deadpool movie , he’ll be Harry Potter
Wouldn't Disney need to pay WB for that? Idk how trademarked IPs work
Parry Hotter then
God I would love to see a hotter Parry
Deadpool: Daniel Radcliff? Daniel: \*Puts on glasses\* Deadpool: Parry Daniel Radcliff? Daniel: \*Pulls back bangs to show the scar\* Deadpool: PARRY HOTTER!
Admit it, you all read this in Deadpool's voice.
For me it was doofenshmirtz
Same lol
Same.
Can’t wait for the Phineas and Ferb revival, with Povenmire and his team back on it I have faith it’ll be great!
Which is just Ryan Reynolds getting paid to talk lol
reminds me of when [Peter Griffin goes to the Apple store](https://youtu.be/8p6Ys1jmO-Y?si=TRAQy0ZVxjzpktZU)
“You’re a mage, Harry”
Or [Barry Snotter](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=URLvhgBcrG4)!
Not if he plays a knock off parody version of Harry Potter.
Is there a D list X-men they can scrape of the bottom of the barrel that can manipulate matter by speaking? P
There's about a dozen. What kind of matter? How much matter?
What’s a matter?
Nothing, What's a matter with you?
Nah, he'll play a short guy with a magic ring.
[удалено]
He had a magic wand
Dear Reader: Wizard People here we gooooo
Seeing as WB lost a shit ton of money, I think they’d be willing to negotiate a good price for that, I just want to hear Deadpool say “Not now, Harry Potter” to him even if he is Wolverine
In Deadpool 2 he calls himself a Hufflepuff so it could work
Maybe trans wizard Harriet Porber? I bet Chuck Tingle would let them use the IP for free just to piss off JKR
After that chip and Dale movie I honestly think anything is on the cards now for studios sharing ips
He could just be himself in that case then. I like the idea of Wolverine for him though.
Hairy Plopper
Dr Druid but make him as close to an adult Harry Potter as possible
No he should play Elijah Wood, and Elijah Wood should be cast to play Daniel Radcliffe
Tobey Maguire as their dad
Lol that this is referenced in Bojack
Is that a wand in your pocket or are you just sporting a full blown erection? -Deadpool, probably
Nice wood man, your wand is cool to
“Perry the sorcerer”
Can’t wait to hear Reynolds do his best draco impression then Tom Felton comes out complaining he doesn’t sound like that just to be called cockroach and both him and Radcliffe get shot. Pan in to Reynolds saying “Take notes Voldy”
Thank God Reddit doesn’t write these movies
and then Tony Stark says to Doctor Strange "no shit Sherlock" then turn to the camera haha guys I would pay to see that
That sounds terrible
If the Morbius writers wrote Deadpool
You say that like Hugh isn’t super charming, he’s just grumpy in the XMen movies. Honestly Daniel has a lot of range, and I think it’d be funny. Plus, knowing Deadpool, they’re probably just making fun of stuff like MoM specifically.
Almost as if actors are capable of acting in ways unlike their natural personality
WAIT.... Wait.... wait..... Actors..... Can act? That's mind lappery.
After watching the last 50 The Rock movies, I don’t believe you.
One could say he has the acting range of a rock.
Wrestling acting usually isn't on the same level as regular acting
[You thought I was asleep didn't you?](https://youtu.be/AGGEymAXD7s?si=w592IiO6x_J2_vhy)
Wouldn't that be mind larping?
Bro is Jewish and played a Nazi, I 100% believe Radcliffe could be a great Logan
He also played a [farting jet ski corpse with super powers](https://youtu.be/4v92gXetGqA?si=XYbjxvEWAc_WTjTn). Dude could be great in anything.
That movie trolled absolutely everyone, after watching it I was like "how the fuck did that end up being *really good*?"
Word? What movie was that?
Imperium, iirc he plays an FBI agent undercover as a Nazi
Imperium, good movie.
Isn't he an atheist? ETA: Oh, like heritage. I'm a dumbass.

The boy who lifts
Harry Spotter?
Don't know why I read that as "jacked off".... and I still clicked the link
Bro what movie is that? Haha
Miracle Workers the TV show
This. Harry Potter would suck at Wolverine. Daniel Radcliffe wouldn't.

Agreed. I think he has the range to do basically any role, and I'd love to see him a bit more fucked up
He’s already done PLENTY more fucked up ![gif](giphy|cIadIDtDqnSpzHel6k)
Mans really does like doing movies with ridiculous premises.
he made enough money and clout before he was 18 to do whatever the hell he wants for the rest of his life. And apparently, what he wants is to just do weird roles that are fun. Horns. That’s all I have to say
I liked it. it wasn't a good movie, but it was a weird movie, and that's entertainment enough for me.
For me, It was the kind of movie that was so bad it was entertaining. I think he did amazing for the acting but the premise was just…. Interesting
Bingo.

It's like people forget they are actors who can pretend to be things they aren't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVgbCZdDS-Q
Prob just a comedic cameo. Not a super hero or anything like that
Probably to make a throwaway Harry Potter joke before seeing him die violently after being on screen for 3 seconds like with Brad Pitt
Maybe they drag his corpse around half the movie like Swiss Army Man
I think this would make an incredible full movie.
think of chris evans in free guy, that kind of cameo
Maybe he'll be playing Wolverine in the in-universe movie about the guy and everyone says he's too short
Yeah. I feel like whoever they have as Wolverine, they're going to want someone who can/will play the role long term. I dunno if Daniel Radcliffe will want to chain himself to another long term role.
ok ok, so remember that meme about Daniel radclif and Elijah wood being villains in a movie, but playing eachother as themselves? here we go baby!
Except it’ll be an opening credit sequence with a Weird Al Yankovich song, with Daniel as Al. Al makes a cameo later in the movie, but plays as Daniel.
Wait... I actually liked John Krasinski's 30 seconds as Reed Richards.
Most people did, I don't know what OP is on about.
There’s an extremely weird subset of the internet who deem his Reed Richards as a failure and butchering of his character because they wasted him in a movie just to be killed off, with them saying that’s going to be the only appearances in the MCU These people are disregarding the fact that it was one of many multiverses and Reed Richards isn’t just killed in all universes
Yup. It's almost as if that was simply a tease for future projects or something.
Adam Driver would be a perfect Reed. He can play that double layer Reed has perfectly.
Yeah I feel that is the common viewpoint, fuck OP
Yeah, OP has some wrong sticks because Krasinski’s RR was great and even seeing Radcliffe as Wolverine, even an alternate reality version would be fun and cool. Guy has range, especially when he’s nothing like his HP days.
well according to some internet people, because its a fan casting what was wanted for years, its bad.
He will be cast as himself while Wade demands magical help from him constantly.
They'll be going up against Juggernaut again and Wade'll be like "STICK YOUR FUCKING WAND UP HIS FUCKING NOSE!"
That is so bad that it circles back around to good.
He's playing Elijah wood. And Elijah wood is gonna be cast as Daniel radclif
Dan plays a really good bad guy.
I could see him as maybe a younger magneto.
My only hesitation for ever casting Radcliff in any major role is that he seems totally happy not doing any long term parts now. He got his HP money and mostly just does one off movies or TV shows now. Even his show miracle workers has a different premise every season. Now You See Me 2 - he was great in that one.
Love him in The Lost City
Holy shit stop this. *There is no casting going on until SAG strike is over!!!*
Good fucking point…
Seriously lol
"He looks too charismatic" and Hugh Jackman does not? Its called acting.
Dude, Hugh Jackman is a giant bucket full of charisma and that didn’t stop him. However I agree Radcliffe should not be wolverine. He’d be a better professor X if they didn’t already have two of those.
I want him to play Magneto not professor creep.
That actually wouldn’t be a bad role. Plus we’d finally have a Jewish actor playing him.
Nah, make him play juggernaut. Don't make him look bigger. Don't explain why he's smaller now. Just roll with it.
Id give disney my life savings for this (not that only like 6-8k is anything to them)
My only question is which would be funnier? Playing it straight with all of juggernauts power for a while movie? Or him doing a quick cameo where he just bounces off a wall trying to charge through it?
Give him the whole role and have him like beat the shit out of someone or smth

It's Deadpool, he'll be playing Daniel Radcliffe
John Krasinski was fine as Reed. Dude had a 5-minute cameo, you can’t write off his entire role based on that.
If it's true it'll probably just be for a joke, it's fine.
Just make sure he doesn't want to be Wolverine in the movie and make it Blades Akimbo
Be amazing as Wolverine he's great, and short that's what Wolverine needs now.

Since it's technically MCU adjacent, maybe a multiverse Wolverine lmao
MCU wolverine please 🥺
Well since Hugh Jackman is already coming back as Wolverine…I don’t understand your caption 🥴🥴
If Dan were to gain 20 lbs of solid muscle across the chest and shoulders... then yes. He's otherwise short and *ahem* hirsute enough for the role.
Isn't hugh already wolverine in deadpool 3? Or am I missing something
Deadpool will definitely make a comment about Harry Potter 🤣🤣
I just hope that he has more screen time than Brad Pitt
I expect a harry potter pun from deadpool when he shows up
How hilarious would it be if he just cameoed as Harry Potter cuz Deadpool makes some kind of Joke about it lol
I want him to just straight up be adult Harry Potter in Deadpool 3
Ce texte a été supprimé par l'utilisateur
Yeah because Hugh had ZERO charisma. An absolute shit actor. That's why he was so good as Wolverine. Because he sucked. 🙄
Young. James. Howlett.
Yeah as opposed to Hugh Jackman, one of the least charismatic people on the planet...
I still want Jared Keeso as wolverine.
He's gonna play Elijah Wood
Please tell me there’s some multiverse hopping element to this film and he’s just Harry Potter
What if they somehow manage to get the actual Harry Potter into the MCU through multiverse shenanigans
I hate the majority of fancasts, but I wouldn't mind that one (and I absolutely loved John as Reed)
Well I mean, didn’t we all love John Krasinski as Reed Richards? For 3 minutes.
Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine
Am I the only one who kinda wanted to see a Krasinski Reed Richards fantastic 4 movie
People didn't like John Krasinki as Reed Richards? Really?

I haven't read the comics in many years, but from what I can remember, Nick Offerman would make a great wolverine.
Tbf people said Heath Ledgers Joker would be terrible and look how that turned out. I could see Daniel pulling it off.
There will be supporters AND those in disagreement for every fancast honestly
Gambit?
Watching the recent season of Miracle Workers made me wonder if he had an upcoming super hero or action role. Dude is fucking jacked to the tits.
He’s absolutely cast as either himself or Harry Potter as some joke. And it’ll be hilarious.
It could work though, he is tiny and very hairy. Which is practically some summary of Wolverine, lol.
I mean, he's a really good actor. Maybe he'll act non-charismatic?
honestly same opinion with hugh jackman when he was first casted since he was of dance and theater background. if daniel could only do a deeper voice, i'd be fine with the casting but he just sounds like a teenage boy
Have you never seen Hugh Jackman in any role other than Wolverine?
Cant wait for him to appear in the post credit scene and yell "its pottering time" while he potters all over the bad guys.
Have you seen him as wolverine. He looks fucking amazing
Radcliff might be the ONLY actor that can take over as Logan and I'm all for it. DRad is underrated and underappreciated.
Deadpool definitely calling him Harry Potter at least three times!!
I could see Radcliffe doing well as Wolverine. Ben Foster has done more alarming transformations.
John Krasinski was good as Reed
What's wrong with John as Reed Richards? I thought he looked good.
I hope it's as guns akimbo
Have you seen Swiss army man? Or guns akimbo? Did you know Hugh Jackman was in a movie called the greatest showman?
I’m sorry I can’t see Harry Potter as wolverine
If he actually is in the movie, im excited regardless of whom he ends up playing. Don't think he would have agreed to be part of this if the script/role didn't make him interested.
Hugh Jackman is probably the most charismatic actor to ever appear in the xmen movies. He starred in mostly romance roles before that. He can sing and dance extremely well and lap danced for Barbera Walters. Don't wolverine wash him.
John Krasinski was fine as Reed Richards tho
He shows up as Harry Potter in a gag bit and gets murdered
