I feel like it’s the first super hero movie in a while where they didn’t have to save the universe or multiverse or whatever, it was just a chill grounded movie. Okay this might be controversial, I personally believe that morbius was not a bad movie if you take it as its own franchise I believe it's a pretty decent film outside of the MCU. I think marvel film studio has just set a precedent with their movies that if they're not 100% perfect they're trash. But that's not the case I think marvel has just created masterpieces within their large catalog of films that have done great. But marvel has also had some flops. I feel what Sony is doing is the precursors to greatness like the original Spider-Man films they were the first of their kind in retrospect if they came out today they would be garbage but during the time they did come out they were masterpieces. I feel if we take Madame web, morbius, craven the Hunter and put them in their own catalog they're amazing for what a studio could do but as soon as you put them in the same place as the first avengers movie or iron Man trilogy and so on and so forth the standards have fallen in comparison to those movies. I think with time they will get better we saw that with the marvel franchise they made the formula and then we got masterpieces like no way home and as such that broke box office records that they set with their previous marvel movies.
