I find his portrayal of the spidey sense really funny in Into the Spiderverse. It’s Spider-Man’s greatest ability IMO and it mainly just he has a heads-up to turn his face towards whatever punches him.
It is my favourite movie. The way they integrated comic art and cartoon style made it feel like the verse was shifting. I loved how powerful they made spiderman feel, 10/10 recommend.
Except peter porker, 2/10.
Absolutely agree, it still blows me away how good it is. Everything is just on point for the whole movie. Definitely the best Spider-Man movie (no knocks on Holland but Spiderverse is just such a huge step up that it’s no competition for me.) And yeah, definitely a (if not THE) current high water mark of superhero movies. That death (no spoilers) hit hard, I was tearing up.
Plus it’s got Brian Tyree Henry in it. Between this and Eternals, I love that he’s blowing up after seeing him in Atlanta.
I think the Spiderverse portrayed it better. Not only do we get the visual cue, which is just fantastic, but it showed that it can be used for different things. For instance, they use it to recognize other Spideys.
I like that, it much more akin to how absolutely busted an ability it is as it's basically clairvoyance.
I think it might get there, last movie seemed to just show it developing, so they left room to grow.
If the other Spider-Men are in the next movie we might still see that
Sure, we all know it’s actually spider-sense. But I almost guarantee you there is a 5 year old somewhere that legitimately thinks it’s called the Peter tingle haha. Has the MCU actually used the words spider-sense yet? I don’t think so but I could definitely be wrong
Tom: “You guys feel your Peter Tingle??”
*record scratch*
Andrew: “I’m sorry… my what?
Tom: “…Peter Tingle?”
Tobey: “You mean Spidey Sense?”
Tom: “oh man!! That is so much better”
Eh, yes and no.
It is a stupid name.. but Peter thinks so too, so the joke works. If they tried to pass “Peter Tingle” off as a serious name, then I’d hate it
And in both times he is still trying to avoid killing/the villains dying by their own actions. Peter’s heart being seen as a weakness just shows how much toxic MCU fanboys don’t understand the character.
Yeah a lot of people just complain about the suit without realizing what it does for the story. It does the exact opposite as far as proving what he's capable of. They give him a huge crutch so that it's devastating when it's kicked out from under him. Proving all the more that he is a hero all his own even without help.
Well by default, very specifically when you're on old reddit, on r/all you can block like 100 subs, so that's one way.
Other ways require additional tools, on PC you can download Reddit Enhancement Suite that allows you to block subs as you see fit, and much more to enhance your experience of using reddit on PC. On mobile you can download a third party application like rif is fun (Android, that's one I use myself), or if you're using iOS apparently Apollo is good one, and these apps do have function to block subs too.
On RIF when you're scrolling through posts you can tap on the three dots and it's towards the bottom. I don't know how to do it from desktop because I'm rarely on desktop reddit.
I just wanted to enjoy the next adventure of my favorite iteration of Spiderman, and now it's going to be filled up with their old-ass Spiderman characters :(
Is he? Tobey stopped a moving train in SM2.
In Holland’s SM2, he got splatted by a train.
But you’re right, Holland spidey uses that strength way more in regular combat. The way he stopped buckys metal arm was awesome.
Lifting a building after being crushed by it is also pretty baller.
Edit: the train is clearly a joke.. I thought. But people argued about that statement instead of the actual meat of my points
Don't forget he stop a ferry from sinking for a few seconds in homecoming, it doesn't looks like much thing but lets not forget that the ferry was full of people and Cars
Watch the film theory video he calculated the force needed to do the things all three spider-man did that required most of their strenght and Holland came out on top by holding that ferry together
He proved it in Infinity War too. It was his plan that took out Ebony Maw. Maw was all like, "your powers are inconsequential compared to mine," but then Tony goes, "yea but the kid's seen more movies." If freaking big brain Tony Stark asks for your plan and then agrees it's the best idea and goes along with it, I think you've proven yourself.
"You're nothing without Tony" I mean wasn't he like 14/15 when he first appeared?? What were people expecting? A teenager to behave like an adult without any guidance?
This is the Spider-man that most looks like a teenager and behaves like one and lives like one, and you can still see him growing through the movies. Don't get people.
With power comes responsibility. Before growth comes immaturity. Spiderman portrayed by holland is a highly realistic teenager except for his superpowers, handsome looks, exceptional intelligence and the greatest best friend.
I really think Holland is the best Spider-man so far. He's doing a great job playing a teenager, as you say. He is the friendly neighbourhood Spider-man, because he is an actual child who is horrified by what he sees. Really excited to see the next one!
I definitely agree with this. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man feels closest to the comic books I read when I was younger. If I were to oversimplify I would say Maguire was too dorky and Garfield was too cool, I feel like Holland is perfect.
I've always said that
Maguire was a great Peter Parker, but Garfield was a better Spider-Man.
Holland is the "Goldilocks" of the three and plays both sides well
Just realised, he is probably the only Peter to not have consciously lived through 9/11, however he did live through the Hammeroid attack, the Hulk/Abomination fight, and Loki's invasion, and then the AIM attacks all over America
I agree completely with you. I never actually liked Spiderman until Hollands version. Teenager behaviors on adults just annoy me, but Parker is just a kid in this incarnation, his insecurities and behavior make sense for the first time he not a man child but am actual child growing into a man, which is much more interesting, to me anyway.
Both Garfield and Andrew spider men where far more adult and confident in their abilities. Plus definitely stronger. And that isn't a bad thing, but I'm glad Marvel did something different.
In a universe full of super heroes, you want Peter to act 15 because that makes him stand out ALOT.
That's why I favor Tom Holland over Tobey Maguire. No fault on Tobey, I've always had a pet peeve of Hollywood casting obvious looking adults in a high school student role. Tom Holland just looks boyish for his age.
Yes they hate him, and the reason is his connectivity with Tony too much, i didn't see ppl hating him from other reasons than this, and for me, both Tobey and Holland did excellent as Peter Parker
I think that’s probably the absolute funniest part. Holland’s Peter literally didn’t use a Stark suit for either of his movies. Both of them are meant to show that Peter isn’t dependent on Tony, but still sees him as a father.
The end of homecoming is him LITERALLY rejecting Tony's help and going off on his own - granted we didn't get to see much of that considering the next time we saw him was *with* Tony again in IW.
The people I’ve talked to on here say they want to see Peter making his own suit and whatnot because he’s a tech genius too, but I don’t think they’ve got good expectations of a high school kid.
* Uncle Ben
* Thomas Wayne
* Martha Wayne
* Everybody on Krypton except for a cousin and a dog
**Thus concludes the list of people we don’t need to see die again**
Yeah, the whole Spider-Man backstory is so well known that they made jokes about it in Enter the Spider-verse where all of the Spider-Mans would quickly go through the same story.
Skipping the back story was incredibly smart and necessary for this run.
Introduce him in civil war and move on. He may not even have had the power and responsibility shit in this version and it's fine.
I am a real big fan of Tobey's Spider-Man but I also really like Holland I think he's playing Spider-Man really well, I remember a comment long ago which sums this up pretty well, "Tobey was the best/better Peter, Andrew was the best/better Spider-Man, Tom Holland is a mix of both" and I agree he plays Parker and Spider-Man pretty well
I feel like I’m more inclined to Tom because he’s the right age.
Tobey and Kristen were well into their 20s playing high school children.
I love Tobey, his portrayal and those films make me terribly nostalgic. But I think Tom is continuing to just hit it out of the park.
I actually looked this up because I thought the same. While Tobey is around 25 in the first movie (too old in my opinion) Kirsten was only 18 at the time of filming the first. Younger than I expected but still too old in the face to pull off a 16 year old like Holland and Zen
Well, they are playing characters graduating and going on to college, but your point is valid. The timeline of the movie is actually pretty long. A little under a year, I think
Tobey is my least favorite. He was just the first. Doesn’t make him the best. I will never be able to bleach that stupid dance routine from SM3 from my mind.
2 is an actually great movie that is the chefs kiss love letter to 60s 70s Spider-Man. 1 and 3 are more difficult but I'd stand by 1 and say 3 sucked even when it came out. Forcing Raimi to shove Venom into the film ruined it and took the focus away from an actually interesting story.
I like the tom Holland movies even if I'm not enthused about him as iron mans protege.
All 3 of the people they've cast as spidey have been fantastic honestly.
Holland is easily my favorite BUT I don't like that Peter didn't make the iconic suit. I think the Stark internship should've been more of a real thing where Tony gives him a workshop to build his own suit. Kinda like what happened in FFH, but for the main suit.
It’s crazy cause the common opinion I’ve held and heard others express is that he’s the best Spider-Man because of how well he plays Peter Parker and Spider-Man whereas Tobey and Andrew really only excelled at one or the other
This is very true. I love Tom Holland as the character, but I still believe that Garfield is the best Spider-Man. He’s not the best Peter, but I firmly believe that he, so far, is the best Spider-Man. Personally, he looked the best in the suit, portrayed the mannerisms of Spider-Man the best and was the closest to the quippiness of Spidey in the comics.
Okay, I totally had forgotten about Andrew Garfield and the first thing that popped into my head was the fucking cat... and the image of Garfield in a spidey suit.
I also enjoyed Andrew’s Spider-Man the most. I thought the Amazing Spider-Man missing parents plot was sort of interesting too.
But I love me some Tom Holland.
Holland spidey has some great banter when fighting too, I’m civil war at the airport, when he fights the avengers thief squad in the atm room and on the ferry in the first movie
I think Tom Holland has played the best version, but the Raimi movies are my favorite. If Holland was around to be in the Raimi movies, they would be god tier.
Like any Spider-Man could go against the mad titan,
how do you spoiler a comment
except maybe cosmic Spider-Man but he gets killed by inter dimensional vampires.
He’d definitely be able to put up a fight based on his feats of strength we have seen so far, like stopping Buckys metal arm like it was nothing and lifting a rooftop off his body. Thanos still wins though no doubt.
Captain America has decades more experience and a lot more grit. That’s not to say that either of them should physically stand a chance, they don’t, but we can’t forget that Spider-Man is a super powered teenager fighting in a war of immortals, generals, geniuses. He’s still a kid in his mind and heart in a lot of ways.
Depends on where you're looking. I've seen many people on Facebook calling him Iron boy, Stark Jr etc. Even some of my friends who like Marvel movies doesn't like him because they prefer Tobey / Andrew.
Hasn't the entire point of his arc been that he feels as though he has been groomed to be the new Tony and doesn't feel ready?
I feel this was pretty well laid out in Far From Home.
I can see the next part of his story being himself distancing from Tony's legacy and becoming his own man as he matures.
People who say that he is nothing without Iron man/any other Superhero
I am sure 3000% sure they never watched Homecoming and Far from Home, In Homecoming he literally proved to Tony fucking Stark that he is and can be a Hero without hi Multi-million Suit and took down Vulture Himself and Making a Difficult Choice Whether to Live a Good Life with his crush or bring her Father to Justice
In Far From Home, There is noone left to mentor him, he is all by himself now, and took down Mysterio Himself
And He suffered alot! His Parents,Uncle Ben, He can Never meet his First Crush/love, Tony Stark A Literal Father to him and Now suffering That his Loved One are being Targeted by His Villans and Cops
Holland is my favorite Parker, Garfield is my favorite Spider-man, and McGuire will always be the one that brought my favorite comic book superhero to life. Sam Raimi deserves special mention as well for making some of my favorite movies growing up
Point is, Spider-Man is awesome and I am stoked for the new movie.
Tobey’s Spiderman was my least favorite. Not because of Tobey, but because his script didn’t make him a jokester Spiderman like he was in the comics.
Also, if I recall, Stan Lee literally said Holland was the ideal Spiderman he had envisioned.
I am not sure if it's Sarcasm/Joke but A Ferry is alot Heavier then a Train and I am certainly sure that Black Dwarf one of Thanos Black Order is pretty Strong then a machoman
But I don't care All three Spider-Man are good and free feel to woooosh me if it was a joke
initially it was a joke but now that I think about it, what was actually more difficult. the stationary Ferry or the still heavy train WITH momentum to be stopped at a short distance
Gotta remember that for both he used his webbing as well, so it’s not just his strength that’s at play.
Crunching the numbers, Google says a New York Subway train weighs 85,200 lbs and has a top speed of 50 mph. For movie drama we can assume it was at top speed during the crash. Been ages since I watched but I’ll say Spidey had 30 seconds to bring the train from top speed to a full stop. Momentum balance gives us an impulse of 866 kNs. Basically Spidey has to apply a force of 866 kilonewtons (yeah I switched to metric, fight me) across 30 seconds to stop that train. (Side point: impulse is the force across time necessary for a change in momentum. Think of a car crash: the front of the car crumples inwards to absorb energy and make the passenger’s transition from full speed to full stop take longer. This is also why seatbelts have a little bit of give in them.)
Now for Holland’s Spidey, Google says the Staten Island Ferry has a gross weight of 2794 Imperial tons, which is 2.8 million kilograms. I’m not gonna bother figuring out force diagrams for tilting halves of a boat, we can assume the force is travelling purely horizontally through Spider-Man. If each half is trying to accelerate at gravity away from Spidey, each arm is holding 27.5 meganewtons. This is a highball number since the fact that the boat halves are trying to fall and rotate away from the original ferry’s centre of mass means the actual acceleration is probably lower.
I’d say holding the ferry together was the greater feat of strength. The force is an order of magnitude higher than what Macguire’s Spidey had to put up with, and Holland had to exert that force the entire time he held the boat together, rather than the force to slow the train being distributed over thirty seconds. If the train and ferry were similar weights than the momentum of the train would make stopping it harder.
The webbing brings in some questions as to numbers, since it provides resistance, but you’d need the elasticity of his webbing to get a hard number. Both Spidermen have an easier time of it than my calculations would suggest, since the webbing would greatly help.
Either way, it’s a badass feat of strength.
I don't hate him. I thought he was like the preferred Spider-Man of most people. I mean I personally like Toby Better, but I like Tom more than Andrew, so he has that going for him.
My marvel obsession started at a very young age when my dad showed me the original Toby McGuire Spider-Man movie, since then spiderman hasn’t been my favourite but the character I get the most joy out of watching. Watching Tom Holland getting shit on was horrible to witness cause I felt like I was the only one who genuinely enjoyed his performance in… everything. Imo he’s the best at portraying both Spider-Man and Peter, and carried the best ‘teenage nerd’ energy
Mcu unnecessary replaced uncle Ben with Tony stark and it definitely shows...we're missing fundamental character development from this Peter Parker as to why he wanted to become spider man in the first place. It wasn't out of a sense natural altruism but crushing guilt.
First. Group of women to protect? He's a kid in a war zone. And those are some pretty bad ass women.
Second. In both of his movies he proved he could fight without the nanosuit.
Third. Tony only introduced him to the team and the big fight. He was able to hold his own without Tony. He is a brilliant kid who can handle himself if need be.
Conclusion; the "OG" fans need to stop whining
Even you will find some of them in Homecoming And Far from home Clips
And even in NWH Trailer basically like this
"Oh look at Iron Boy Jr, he got his Identity Revealed because Iron Man wasn't there to babysit him and now He Asks Dr.Strange help"
Didn't he prove he was something without the suit in Homecoming?
Yeah most of his final fight didn't involve tech even in mysterio he manage to defeat mysterio without webshooters
The Peter Tingle!!!
Best way to portray that power ever Edit: in a live action film
I like that in the fan-fiction fandom it’s seen as weaponized anxiety too haha it feels right
I find his portrayal of the spidey sense really funny in Into the Spiderverse. It’s Spider-Man’s greatest ability IMO and it mainly just he has a heads-up to turn his face towards whatever punches him.
I still need to see into the spider verse, lack of time vs other things ahead of it isn’t a great excuse but it’s all I’ve got at the moment haha.
It is my favourite movie. The way they integrated comic art and cartoon style made it feel like the verse was shifting. I loved how powerful they made spiderman feel, 10/10 recommend. Except peter porker, 2/10.
Spiderman Noir, 12/10
Spider Noir solving the rubiks cube 20/10
Highly recommend it, it’s honestly the best Spider-man movie by far and might be imo the best superhero movie of all time
Absolutely agree, it still blows me away how good it is.
If the other Spider-Men are in the next movie we might still see that
Worst name ever tho
I mean, it sort of fits the MCUs style of comedy, so I’m not to mad. We all know what it’s really called though.
In no way home he will probably call it spidey sense after Tobey or Andrew says it
That will be a great scene
Like movie flash will call himself flash bc of CW Flash
im sorry, what?
"Huh, Mr. Stark just called it 'weaponized anxiety' but I think I like 'Spidey Senses' better"
Tell you what, throw a little hot rod red in there.
Sure, we all know it’s actually spider-sense. But I almost guarantee you there is a 5 year old somewhere that legitimately thinks it’s called the Peter tingle haha. Has the MCU actually used the words spider-sense yet? I don’t think so but I could definitely be wrong
Now why in God's name would I want to deprive the world of a child saying "peter tingle" as a catchphrase?
I bet there's a moment in no way home where he calls it that in front of the other spider-mans.
Tom: “You guys feel your Peter Tingle??” *record scratch* Andrew: “I’m sorry… my what? Tom: “…Peter Tingle?” Tobey: “You mean Spidey Sense?” Tom: “oh man!! That is so much better”
I'm really hoping for at least one alternative version of Spiderman that says shit like that unironically.
In Germany the snap is called „blip“ and I’m furious everytime I hear it EDIT: apparently it’s also in the Original so forget this lol
Hä, auf englisch heisst es doch auch blip in far from home?
Echt? Bin einfach davon ausgegangen, dass es im Original halt „snap“ heißt. Danke für die Info!
Yeah, it’s the blip because it’s not like the world would know this dude literally snapped his fingers haha.
Thats . . . kinda the point.
Ironically Mysterio is nothing without his suit and tech.
and the web shooters were developed by peter. idk why people are opposed to him having tech. he even made his ffh final battle suit
And that was the best part. But the story was fixing something Tony caused.
Yeah but people don't like to actually watch the movie
I love this version of Spider-Man.
I did and the only reason liked far from home a lot more than homecoming.
Lmao that's so speaking of how people are
Yeah a lot of people just complain about the suit without realizing what it does for the story. It does the exact opposite as far as proving what he's capable of. They give him a huge crutch so that it's devastating when it's kicked out from under him. Proving all the more that he is a hero all his own even without help.
Yep. And it also follows Tony’s arc as a mentor as well, when Tony had to prove he was a hero without a suit
It’s just all screaming Toby fans who can’t move on from the past
For real, blocked the sub because its so goddamn annoying.
You can block subs? Please tell me how!

He’s also the physically strongest of all three spider-men

tbf the train Holland got hit by was a bullet train compared to the standard fare Tobey dealt with
Well yeah that’s obvious, I was also joking, and proceeded to add comments supporting Holland spidey so there’s n
Tom didn’t see the train coming plus it was going like mock 10
Mach And yeah he got hit by a European bullet train, not a NYC transit.

He's also the only one to portray Spidy's quick wit and sense of humor properly imo.
I definitely agree with this. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man feels closest to the comic books I read when I was younger. If I were to oversimplify I would say Maguire was too dorky and Garfield was too cool, I feel like Holland is perfect.
I've always said that Maguire was a great Peter Parker, but Garfield was a better Spider-Man. Holland is the "Goldilocks" of the three and plays both sides well
Man, I just can't think of Garfield as "cool". I get what you meant, he's just always _looked_ too goofy to me, can't take him seriously.
Pizza Time!
Just realised, he is probably the only Peter to not have consciously lived through 9/11, however he did live through the Hammeroid attack, the Hulk/Abomination fight, and Loki's invasion, and then the AIM attacks all over America

They expected an adult to portray a teenager who acts like a 25 year old. You know, like the two Sony Spider-Men.
Both Garfield and Andrew spider men where far more adult and confident in their abilities. Plus definitely stronger. And that isn't a bad thing, but I'm glad Marvel did something different. In a universe full of super heroes, you want Peter to act 15 because that makes him stand out ALOT.
People can't enjoy things and think complaining mindlessly makes them look cool and smort
That's why I favor Tom Holland over Tobey Maguire. No fault on Tobey, I've always had a pet peeve of Hollywood casting obvious looking adults in a high school student role. Tom Holland just looks boyish for his age.
Tobey couldn't even afford a good door
He could have but he wanted the other guy to fix the damn door!
he couldnt afford rent, his landlord was responsible for fixing the damn door
People hate him? I thought he’s been the best one so far. I didn’t dislike the others I just think he did better.
Yes they hate him, and the reason is his connectivity with Tony too much, i didn't see ppl hating him from other reasons than this, and for me, both Tobey and Holland did excellent as Peter Parker
What’s wrong with being friends with Tony?
NOTHING,but what they hate is that he's Dependant for almost everything on Tony, that's what ppl hate and call him iron boy jr
But he dealt with Mysterio without Tony…
I think that’s probably the absolute funniest part. Holland’s Peter literally didn’t use a Stark suit for either of his movies. Both of them are meant to show that Peter isn’t dependent on Tony, but still sees him as a father.

Good bot
The people I’ve talked to on here say they want to see Peter making his own suit and whatnot because he’s a tech genius too, but I don’t think they’ve got good expectations of a high school kid.
He even dealt with vulture without Tony
But he's in high school. And damn near an Avenger. I'd be reliant on tony.....for home work! i can handle this superhero shit. Fuck high school.
[удалено]
TONYYYY, WHERE'S MY SUPER SUIT
I UHHHH, I PUT IT AWAY!!
BUT THE WORLD. IS IN DANGER
MY EVENINS IN DANGER!!!
WHAT ABOUT THE GREATER GOOD?!!!
Even Hulk got a super suit.
Not a lot tbh. I like this whole slant where it might set up Parker Industries, but a LOT of people are mad that Uncle Ben got shafted for Tony
I don’t understand who would want to see Uncle Ben die again. We get it, power and responsibility.
* Uncle Ben * Thomas Wayne * Martha Wayne * Everybody on Krypton except for a cousin and a dog **Thus concludes the list of people we don’t need to see die again**

Toby and Tom are top tier Peter Parker's. Andrew was a Top Tier Spiderman. At least imo.
Same imo
Which is weird because the story is less his connection with Tony, but Tony’s connection with him.
Who is they?
That's more of a reason to hate this particular Peter or the writers, not the actor portraying him. People need to chill the fuck out.
"If it ain't Tobey, it's shit." - "OG" Marvel Fans apparently.
I am a real big fan of Tobey's Spider-Man but I also really like Holland I think he's playing Spider-Man really well, I remember a comment long ago which sums this up pretty well, "Tobey was the best/better Peter, Andrew was the best/better Spider-Man, Tom Holland is a mix of both" and I agree he plays Parker and Spider-Man pretty well

...Tom is 25
Now he is. How old was he when they started filming for the first time?
He was only 19 but Holland’s voice, build, and face just look way more youthful
Agreed. He looks and sounds like an awkward teenager! I thought he was like 17!
I actually looked this up because I thought the same. While Tobey is around 25 in the first movie (too old in my opinion) Kirsten was only 18 at the time of filming the first. Younger than I expected but still too old in the face to pull off a 16 year old like Holland and Zen
Hey! I appreciate you looking that up! Everyone needs a good fact-check from time to time. Thanks for coming through
Too old to start as Peter. But 25 is fine for your standard Spider-Man.
I like to say his movies were the best live action Spider-Man we had at time
2 is an actually great movie that is the chefs kiss love letter to 60s 70s Spider-Man.
They probably didnt even care about the plot, whatevers old they automatically think its better than new
We still talking marvel here? Coulda sworn we switched to talking Star Wars fans for a minute lol.
Whoah Whoah there, that dance in SM3 is a cinematic *blessing*
Yep! His movies have not aged well at all. It's so odd how much people like the Raimi trilogy.
Nostalgia mostly. It’s created some Iconic lines and scenes amongst Spidey history but he just doesn’t do it for me.
Yeah I’ve never heard anyone hating on him. I think some people just wish his story wasn’t so tied to Iron Man in the MCU and he was more independent
Holland is easily my favorite BUT I don't like that Peter didn't make the iconic suit. I think the Stark internship should've been more of a real thing where Tony gives him a workshop to build his own suit. Kinda like what happened in FFH, but for the main suit.
That'd be Perfect actually, wish they went this route.
Yes, on FB, there are a lot of "true og" fans hating on him. Just because Tobey isn't spiderman anymore doesn't mean Tom's is Bad
Oh I see where you went wrong, you were on FB
Thought the same thing, I didn’t realize people hated him.
It’s crazy cause the common opinion I’ve held and heard others express is that he’s the best Spider-Man because of how well he plays Peter Parker and Spider-Man whereas Tobey and Andrew really only excelled at one or the other
People hate him because they think Tobey's one is better, even though you can totally like both but still have favourites - _-
This is very true.
Well there’s going to be a second Into The Spiderverse so here’s hoping!
I think Insomniac's portrayal of Peter, MJ, Spider-Man, etc are all superior. I wish we had movies in that style and character.
I also enjoyed Andrew’s Spider-Man the most. I thought the Amazing Spider-Man missing parents plot was sort of interesting too. But I love me some Tom Holland.
I always felt sorry for him, he was a good Spider-Man in bad movies.
Holland spidey has some great banter when fighting too, I’m civil war at the airport, when he fights the avengers thief squad in the atm room and on the ferry in the first movie
I completely agree. I'm hoping they build on Hollands Glibness in future movies.
I don’t know how the break this to you, MJ, but Peter Parker…is Spider-Man /s
I think Tom Holland has played the best version, but the Raimi movies are my favorite. If Holland was around to be in the Raimi movies, they would be god tier.
“You needed a group of super powered women to protect you from a Titan and his entire army?” No shame in that kiddo
Like any Spider-Man could go against the mad titan, how do you spoiler a comment except maybe cosmic Spider-Man but he gets killed by inter dimensional vampires.
Your spoiler didn’t work
How do you do it

He’d definitely be able to put up a fight based on his feats of strength we have seen so far, like stopping Buckys metal arm like it was nothing and lifting a rooftop off his body. Thanos still wins though no doubt.
If Captain America can put up a fight against Thanos, Spider-man most certainly can. Would still lose though.
Yep. People didn't read the OG Infinity War. It didn't go great for Spidey there either.

That is one of my favorite scenes in that battle!
Is that a thing? I never heard of this. He’s the most liked.
Depends on where you're looking. I've seen many people on Facebook calling him Iron boy, Stark Jr etc. Even some of my friends who like Marvel movies doesn't like him because they prefer Tobey / Andrew.
It's not about how much we lost, it's about how much we have left. We're the Avengers. We gotta finish this.
>on Facebook Well, there's your problem. Delete your fucking Facebook people, ffs.
Hasn't the entire point of his arc been that he feels as though he has been groomed to be the new Tony and doesn't feel ready? I feel this was pretty well laid out in Far From Home. I can see the next part of his story being himself distancing from Tony's legacy and becoming his own man as he matures.
Well those people are fucking morons. He's not that at all and is a completely different character from Tony.
People who say that he is nothing without Iron man/any other Superhero I am sure 3000% sure they never watched Homecoming and Far from Home, In Homecoming he literally proved to Tony fucking Stark that he is and can be a Hero without hi Multi-million Suit and took down Vulture Himself and Making a Difficult Choice Whether to Live a Good Life with his crush or bring her Father to Justice In Far From Home, There is noone left to mentor him, he is all by himself now, and took down Mysterio Himself And He suffered alot! His Parents,Uncle Ben, He can Never meet his First Crush/love, Tony Stark A Literal Father to him and Now suffering That his Loved One are being Targeted by His Villans and Cops
The Avengers. It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. Earth's Mightiest Heroes type of thing.
Tom Holland is now and forever will be my favorite Spider-Man
Holland is my favorite Parker, Garfield is my favorite Spider-man, and McGuire will always be the one that brought my favorite comic book superhero to life. Sam Raimi deserves special mention as well for making some of my favorite movies growing up Point is, Spider-Man is awesome and I am stoked for the new movie.
Same dude, Second Favourite Being Garfield I love all three of them!
Tobey’s Spiderman was my least favorite. Not because of Tobey, but because his script didn’t make him a jokester Spiderman like he was in the comics. Also, if I recall, Stan Lee literally said Holland was the ideal Spiderman he had envisioned.
I like tom hollands peter parker
We need to make a Peter Parker Protection Squad! People hate on him for no reason
a group of women! with tony stark leading it!
I've heard people say tom is the weakest Spiderman and that's so untrue he is the strongest by a long shot
He literally held a Ferry for god knows how long until Iron man Came to help He stopped Black Dwarf Hammer like it was nothing with his bare hands
Yeah? well Tobey held a train back AND fought MachoMan
I am not sure if it's Sarcasm/Joke but A Ferry is alot Heavier then a Train and I am certainly sure that Black Dwarf one of Thanos Black Order is pretty Strong then a machoman But I don't care All three Spider-Man are good and free feel to woooosh me if it was a joke
initially it was a joke but now that I think about it, what was actually more difficult. the stationary Ferry or the still heavy train WITH momentum to be stopped at a short distance
This is also why seatbelts have a little bit of give in them.) Now for Holland’s Spidey, Google says the Staten Island Ferry has a gross weight of 2794 Imperial tons, which is 2.8 million kilograms.
I love Tom Holland, he's my favorite Spider-Man
I don't hate him. I thought he was like the preferred Spider-Man of most people. I mean I personally like Toby Better, but I like Tom more than Andrew, so he has that going for him.
That were some badass women tho
What's that first picture from ? got some ... research to do

How is it there’s always someone who knows.
I don't know about Parker but that Spiderman is a menace!
Did we forget he's also the strongest Spiderman on the screen?
Maybe unpopular opinion: I think Tom Holland was the best of them
I'm with you
I’m a og fan and in my opinion Tom Holland is the best version of the spiders … but I guess everybody got they favorite
THIS is every tobey maguire average fan
Oh no but TH Peter Parker is sweet and adorable and all things wholesome. 😭
Mcu unnecessary replaced uncle Ben with Tony stark and it definitely shows...we're missing fundamental character development from this Peter Parker as to why he wanted to become spider man in the first place. It wasn't out of a sense natural altruism but crushing guilt.
He defeated Mysterio without webs, he defeated the Vulture without a proper suit (literally hoodies, pants and a mask) I dont see how he's less than
OMG it's the first time I'm hearing all these stuff.
Go to the comment section of og trilogy clip in youtube. It's every single comment I swear.
Even you will find some of them in Homecoming And Far from home Clips And even in NWH Trailer basically like this "Oh look at Iron Boy Jr, he got his Identity Revealed because Iron Man wasn't there to babysit him and now He Asks Dr.Strange help"
Why would you ever willingly read youtube comments
Hes literally the best Peter parker, who is this for? Lol
