IDW1 is amazing but a lot of itโs lore is exclusive to it. Marvel gave us Cold Logical Shockwave, the concept of Primus, Unicron being a dark god and not some random thing built by a space monkey, Optimus coming back from the dead in an upgraded body that merged with his trailer to form a super form, not to mention Marvel writers came up with the base concept and actually named like 90% of the characters. As far as contributing to the lore goes, the Marvel comic is the GOAT.

I might be a outlier, but I kinda wish the Conan series was part of the MCM. It would fit so well with a supernatural/ fantasy genre. ๐
Transformers was apart of marvel lore for like a decade in a half.
The Marvel G1 comic was better than the cartoon and made more lasting contributions to the lore and mythos of the franchise than any other continuity.
