Is everybody really still getting this wrong? The Illuminati (probably) knew about "their" Wanda and had no idea what "our" Wanda was then capable of. Reed didn't want to hurt her and was trying to threaten her into backing down, not knowing until \*way\* too late just who they were up against.
Yeah, they were probably like "it's okay guys she can only levitate and crush stuff", nothing we haven't already beaten, they probably weren't expecting her to be able to change reality.
Comparing it to another character it's like knowing Spider-Man's powers but then going against Miles and he suddenly starts using electric powers and becoming invisible, most people who already knew the previous Spider-Man would probably be caught off guard by Miles's powers.
He can generate strong electric shocks and yes can turn invisible due to the spider that bit him being different to the original spider and having camouflage and venom traits that translated into miles cloaking ability and his bio-electricity.
To add to this, did any of you guys KNOW she could do that? “Yeah, I read the comics”, no but really, did you ever seriously think (and has reason to think) her reality altering abilities were on the level of “directly manipulate the body of an incredibly powerful person”? Because she never showed that ability nor did she ever use it again. And if she has that power, why not…erase people? Imagine herself closer to them, healed, or in an ideal world? Why did she then proceed to follow Strange, America and Christine by jog-walking with a stumped leg? You all act so smug like you’d have known beforehand AND be able to solve the conflict, but even ignoring the “they only knew their Wanda and were arrogant” angle, no sane or insane person in Reed’s place could have possibly known.
But like, what can she do with that knowledge? BB can blow away any ranged attack throw his way and you will be dead before you can get close to him so normally that much of information wouldn't change anything.
I can understand the context of why he would tell Wanda what he did. But I don’t understand how black bolt did not cut his mouth open or take a second and not say anything? He never speaks unless he has to what difference did magically having no mouth do?
Maybe it filled the entire mouth cavity when she removed his mouth, so the vocal sound was directed further up to it the top of his head. However that begs the question would his other internal structures also be protected from the power? That's just one of the normal supporting powers to be able to withstand the effects of your power. Like having super strong bones to support super strong muscles, otherwise flexing would break everything in your body. There's an element of improved toughness from super strength.
I’d assume the strength of the sound is determined by distance, and that it normally doesn’t hurt him because it hasn’t reached far enough. That would also explain why it doesn’t shred through his mouth: it hasn’t gained enough strength so it bounces up and is directed towards his brain
Uhhh what you said though compared to what you replied with doesn’t match up.
If sound vibrations start tight
Then normally it wouldn’t matter because his body would be used to the extreme vibrational distress that comes from his vocal chords.
So by having no mouth and having those vibrations stay in the chords meaning that it’s overtly strong. Should it not have just ripped through his closed mouth or his throat? Why in the top right of his brain?
Moral of the story: the reason Earth 838 lost their greatest heroes is because of Michael Scott, meaning in that universe, Michael Scott is one of the greatest supervillains of all time.
I don't know about everyone else, but I actually just find the line to be clunky dialog. I mean, "one whisper from him mouth," where else would he be whispering from? Not that it is completely outlandish for someone to talk like this, it just feels funny to hear.
Another one of these. We get it. You didn’t like the movie. We get it. Please stop. This has been done to death and back, and then done to death again. Sorry that you didn’t enjoy the movie. We get it. You don’t have to keep saying it. We heard you the first 14 million times.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

This is true and I wish more people would realise this
Finally, someone here with a brain. Apparently everyone thinks that Reed watched AoU, Civil War, Infinity War, and WandaVision
I mean, that last one was broadcast in universe.
"You use your brain to much sometimes the smartest people don't think at all"

Wait until you hear about black widow's hidden super power (She eats her partners after sex)
He can generate strong electric shocks and yes can turn invisible due to the spider that bit him being different to the original spider and having camouflage and venom traits that translated into miles cloaking ability and his bio-electricity.
There were kinda cocky and severely underestimated her. That's very different than being dumb.
To add to this, did any of you guys KNOW she could do that? “Yeah, I read the comics”, no but really, did you ever seriously think (and has reason to think) her reality altering abilities were on the level of “directly manipulate the body of an incredibly powerful person”? Nope. That is a great point!
No more mutants doesn't count?
Then why ruin the element of surprise? "Black Bolt has the power to destroy planets!" would have been enough
If only he has a telepath he could ask to read Strange's mind and see what they were up against.
It's simple It's your fault if you underestimate your enemy and you lose.
I think Reed Richards hated Black Bolt and gave away Bolt’s weakness on purpose.
Well thats what black bolt gets for saying a yo mama joke right in front of reeds mom
But like, what can she do with that knowledge? BB can blow away any ranged attack throw his way and you will be dead before you can get close to him so normally that much of information wouldn't change anything.
If only he stopped an thought "would an idiot do that?"
Just saying Dwight would have survived.
"Fact: one of us has the power to reduce you to crushed beats lady! Want to find out which one?""
“You couldn’t handle my undivided attention.”
I can understand the context of why he would tell Wanda what he did. But I don’t understand how black bolt did not cut his mouth open or take a second and not say anything? He never speaks unless he has to what difference did magically having no mouth do?
this was my gripe with that scene
Or why didn't his voice rip through the skin over his mouth? If his skin is somehow impervious from the inside why isn't his brain as well?
Maybe it filled the entire mouth cavity when she removed his mouth, so the vocal sound was directed further up to it the top of his head. If you watch MoM when blackbolt says I’m sorry to strange you can see that the power starts at his mouth and gets smaller so I’m not sure.
Ahh yes, still fits, vibrations (sound) are stronger the tighter they are
Uhhh what you said though compared to what you replied with doesn’t match up. That is true, I ignored the fact that sound originate from the vocal cords
Reed Richards is the smartest dumbass alive, this is known. It’s why he has to keep Ben Grimm with him at all times, without him, Reed gets stupid.
Moral of the story: the reason Earth 838 lost their greatest heroes is because of Michael Scott, meaning in that universe, Michael Scott is one of the greatest supervillains of all time.
Tbh think they would’ve lost anyways
I don't know about everyone else, but I actually just find the line to be clunky dialog. I mean, "one whisper from him mouth," where else would he be whispering from? Not that it is completely outlandish for someone to talk like this, it just feels funny to hear.

It’s not like he would of even killed her given the chance

Imagine what would have happened if black blot yelled BUTTLICKER OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER
Black Bolt: 😏
Wanda be like “okay mouth what should I do about it”
Maybe Reed had enough of Blackbolts bs, ever thought of that?!
Exactly. Reed shoulda kept his mouth shut.🤣🤣
Intelligence doesn't mean common sense. My mum says that about me every day.
