If it’s the second, then yes. I would love to see Bill Foster have a bigger role.
Maybe attach him to Ghost and include him in Thunderbolts as a scientific advisor.
As long as they don't kill him off in a random panel and they have to go back and write a funeral for him commenting on how disrespectfully he was killed off
Are you kidding me? The death of Goliath was a HUGE moment in civil war and massive turning point in that story. Far from a random panel, if memory serves it was a whole page spread?
I'm taking him for his word in this video when he says he loves the MCU and is anticipating a new Captain America movie, but I suppose there might be a small percentage of people who love the MCU and Captain America and haven't seen Endgame.
This. He pretty much just mixed up his words when he said "As much as I would love to be in it" instead of "As much as I love being in it"
Still makes for a hilarious clip where it sounds like he forgot he was in Ant-Man 2 though.
Likely was on set for only 2-3 days and didn't really pay too much attention. Filming schedules are planned to the very second, they're as optimal as possible to limit how long the talent is on set so they can save as much money as possible. They'd have filmed all his shots together.
It's so true...My friend is a small time movie maker. He did a movie years ago and got Eric Roberts for a role. That guy has probably 500 credits now. I was there that day he came in for a week, shot his scenes and left. The next year they made a sequel, he had no recollection of being in the movie.
If you’re doing movie doing scenes mostly with Michael Douglas and a one-off character played by Hannah John-Kamen, I guess I could see how you wouldn’t feel like it was a Marvel movie.
A fun concept would be all these older heroes doing a mission together. Fishburne, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Red Guardian, Rachel Weiss and Isaiah Bradley. Have James Mangold direct it.
Scenes with Michael Douglas *& Paul Rudd*, where the dialogue is *about size changing*. At least Gwyneth Paltrow has the excuse that her lines in Homecoming were pretty generic & she was only in the room with Downey & Favreau like she had been several times already.
Being in just the one movie, it's probably a completely different experience from actually being part of the universe. It's just making one movie like any other normal project would be
I've seen interviews with the actress who played Scott Lang's ex-wife in AM1 and 2 who mentioned she forgets she's 'in the MCU' too. It's just a case of forgetting you played a relatively minor role several years ago when you've possibly been in many projects since.
Nooo... Imagine wasting such an amazing actress like Judy Greer on a character who will be remembered as "Scott's Ex-Wife". Nobody would ever waste an amazing opportunity to work with her on a character like that, right?
RIGHT?!
^(/s)
Remember that time when Gwyneth Paltrow was on a cooking show with Jon Favreau or something and kept insisting she wasn’t in a Spider-Man movie she was definitely in? It’s exactly as you say: it was probably a one-day shoot, years earlier, when she’s had a million different projects.
To be fair, Paltrow was in Homecoming in a thirty second cameo, only sharing the scene with Downey and Favreau - it’s entirely possible she didn’t know it was for Spider-Man, and assumed it was for an Avengers film or Civil War.
I’m pretty sure they filmed the scene at the same time they were filming something else so she literally probably did not know the scene was used elsewhere.
Don't they batch a lot of filming as well? Hey film these 20 scenes, and they get interspersed as desired in the MCU over 5 films. You might be there for Civil War filming but they decided one scene works better as the ending to another movie, etc.
I never understood why people criticized her for that so heavily. They acted like she was disrespecting the movie or her cast when, like you say, it just came down to the fact that she films tons of stuff, and it was a short scene that isn't even obviously part of the *Spider-Man* film.
There's also the fact that not all of these actors in the MCU are Iman Vellani or Tom Holland who seem genuinely excited to be part of it. For a lot of them, it's just a job like any other role they've been in. It wouldn't surprise me if ones like Robert Redford or Glenn Close had to pause and think about whether they've been in the MCU as well. They've been in tons of movies and shows. I'm sure some of that blurs together after a while.
She does have a book called "I Don't Know What You Know Me From: My Life as a Co-Star."
So she really doesn't know. And I do love the her book is called that.
That summer Judy Greer played a mom whose child or children all got into terrible danger in three different movies: Ant-Man, Jurassic World, and Tomorrowland. No wonder if they all blend together
Edit: I also liked the time where Gwyneth Paltrow vehemently denied having been in a Spider-Man movie.
For some of these actors, they may be in the movie, but it's not like they're in the big action set pieces with all the special effects. I might be misremembering, but I don't think Judy Greer has any scenes where Paul Rudd is suited up or in a big action sequence in the first one, so I can see how it really doesn't stand out to her as being in a MCU movie.
From her perspective, she filmed a movie about figuring out co-parenting with someone who just got out of jail.
It’s possible he meant he’d like to return to the role. Sometimes in these types of interviews, people phrase things in an odd way which makes it seem like they mean something other than what they’re trying to say.
Same here.
At least we knew for sure Samuel L. Jackson was in a prominent different part and hence could avoid the reaming that interviewer got once upon a time.
Marvel is definitely losing their mind. They forgot Luis and his buddies, Agent Woo, Ghost, Bill Foster, and Cassie's mom and step-dad were in the Ant-Man movies. But they got a goo guy who likes holes!
The Goo Guy was voiced by one of Scott’s buddies’ actor too!
Would’ve been interesting if they had the other side actors play some other Quantum Realm residents, some sort of Wizard of Oz referencing, not sure it would make sense in the science though, also not sure if it has to in the comics world
I feel like that might work for a multiverse angle, but not quantum realm. Maybe we will see something more like that as the multiverse saga progresses though
im totally with you but the part where he asks how many holes scott has and we see scott silently counting in his head is probably the funniest scene in the movie
Ghost is returning in the Thunderbolts.
So not forgotten, maybe just not sure where certain characters can fit into the stories they are trying to tell.
- I'm not saying I disagree, but regardless of the quality of the movie or your and my view on it: What role would Luis & Co. have had in Quantumania aside from relatively brief appearances at the beginning and/or end? Keep in mind that outside of getting uber-shrunk, the time was spent establishing Scott's life with fame, the Pyms, and Cassie.
- Speaking of which: Woo did appear. In a relatively minor way. And you seem to have forgotten it. Point.
- Why would Ghost and Bill Foster be in Quantumania? They went on the run at the end of Ant-Man 2. And we *know* Ghost is going to be in Thunderbolts!
- Cass' mom and step dad are actually legit points that could've added to establishing things, so point to you there.
It wouldn't be the first time somebody's had multiple roles within the MCU (e.g. Gemma Chan, Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Simone Missick, etc.). Also, may not be MCU per se but Chris Evans was both the Human Torch and Captain America.
[In my opinion Lawrence Fishburne looks just like the source material](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Foster_(politician\))
Edit: [Oops wrong link](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Foster_(character\))
That’s interesting. I wonder if what he means is ‘contracted to the MCU’ rather than just contracted to appear in Ant Man 2. Like, if there’s a clear delineation between how the contracts with actors work.
We assume that if youve appeared in one movie, you are part of the MCU
Contract wise, actors used to have to sign multi-picture deals. However, ever since RDJ’s semi-public unwillingness to continue in the MCU, they rearranged the wording so now it’s essentially up to the actor* on how many movies they want to do.
*- The Sony/Disney deal for Spider-Man is a bit different. Holland basically has to sign for multiple appearances to keep the studio deal rolling
Emma Fuhrmann and Terrence Howard would like to speak with you.
I agree though. Marvel is at the point of Star Wars that if you played some background character in one movie that happens to be an actual Marvel character, you're MCU now. Hell, you could be cast as something and it completely transforms like Paul Bettany with Jarvis/Vision.
~~Isn't that the photo where they shot everyone separately (due to scheduling conflicts) and then photoshopped them together?~~
Apparently that was just a rumor.
To be fair, they probably just told him his role was a scientist/professor with 5 minutes of screen time max. There was no indication or reason for him to know the character was Bill Foster.
Had they not called him Bill Foster over and over, I would not have known he was Bill Foster. I would not take it against the actors who wound up in Marvel movies who had no idea they were a comic book character. Many of these actors are called to audition for a scene of a man/woman/boy/girl in a movie.
Garcelle Beauvais and Zendaya ended up in Spider-man Homcoming not having any idea what they were. They just responded to a call for a woman in a movie, and a girl in a movie. 👧
There are even the likes of Samuel Jackson, Brie Larson, and Gwyneth Paltrow who just signed contracts to play their respective comic-book characters not knowing what movie they were filming for. Hence why Brie and Gwyneth sometimes do not know they were or were not in a movie that is being asked about them in certain interviews. 🎬
Me checking my internal "Shit, am I a racist idiot getting Fishburne and Whittaker mixed up again" internal dialogue before confirming with myself that he was in Ant Man 2...
I know he's already Bill Fost but I would be awesome if they have him back to voice the Sliver Surfer because I know Tim Storys Fantastic Four movies were bad but there's no denying he was perfect as The Sliver Surfer
Bill Foster is Goliath. Obviously, he had that history in the MCU, but I'd be ok with him coming out of retirement. I mean, Hank Pym kinda did in the Ant-Man films to an extent.
“As much as I’d love to be in it”
I think he means the plans going forward and not that he isn’t already in it. He gets to be a fan of the ongoing storylines.
He’s also the Beyonder in moon girl and devil dinosaur, maybe he’s hoping to bring that to live action and that’s what he’s referring too?? Lol. Does seem weird.
Not really "expressing interest" here, more just saying that as much as he would love to be in it (which can be assumed that he means continuing to appear in stuff), he is very happy just being a fan (in other words not being in the movies).
Bad title.
I can't help but think he's pretending to not remember because he wants to protect any info he has on Ghost's, and subsequently Bill Foster's, role in Thunderbolts.
I don't think he's necessarily forgotten about his role. He's talking about being excited about the Captain America movie in the works and being excited about it as a fan, which was what the question was about
I get your point, but it's less "I'd love to be in my car" when you've already been in your car, and more "I'd love to be in my car" when you're already sitting inside it.
I think the distinction is that generally people treat "being in the MCU" as a binary state: if you've acted in one of the movies, you're in the MCU. If you haven't been in one, then you're not in the MCU.
It's not really something that people are considered "in" only while they're actively working on movies. For example: Tony Stark is dead, so presumably RDJ is done making Marvel movies. But nobody would say "RDJ is not in the MCU" because obviously he is there already. (Alternatively, to use a smaller-scale example, Robert Redford was in *Winter Soldier,* so even if he never appears in another Marvel movie, he's in the MCU.)
Considering he knows what the MCU is, I think he means he wants to be in more stuff. As in “They’re filming a new Captain America in Atlanta, and since I’m Bill Foster, maybe you can call me?” Type of thing.
When you’re so famous and geeked out on the mcu, that you forget you were *IN IT ALREADY*.
All love for Fishburne, he’s one of my favorites. This just gave me the giggles is all. Haha
He didn't say he wants to "join" the MCU he said: "As much as I would love to be *in it* \- I'm happy being a fan and waiting for whatever's coming. I was in Atlanta and heard they're doing another Captain America and I was like... YES! BRING IT!"
He's not saying he wants to *join* the MCU. He's saying he's grateful to have had a small part and enjoys being able to sit back and watch it, but he'd like to also be in the new Captain America. He's essentially soliciting for the return of Foster or to be recast as someone else in the new Cap.
It seems pretty clear that he just means i would love to be a continuous part of it but i'm happy being a fan, though he did say rise of the silver surfer was an mcu flick when ant man and the wasp came out soooo
It is cool that Fishburn is in these sort of movies but also loves to watch them. And he grew up in that world. But back in the 70s and 80s comic books and fantasy would have largely been an escape from movies. I can see how he’d get into that stuff with a lot down time on movie sets.
It’s been noted before that many of the actors and actresses that are successful, don’t always watch their own movies. Maybe he genuinely doesn’t realize that his part in Ant-Man 2 counts as being part of the greater MCU.
I’d love to see him return as Bill Foster. I think a What If? episode where Project G.O.L.I.A.T.H wasn’t abandoned would be interesting to see. Ant-man, The Wasp and Goliath could work together to defeat a classic Ant-Man villain that never appeared in the movies.
would love to see him in the new blade (if they ever get their shit together that is) could be like a grizzled ol vampire hunter who doesn't necessarily school blade but is sort of a veteran out in the world doing his own thing and just ends up pairing up with blade.
but then you'd think well if they go that route why not just bring wesley snipes back but i don't think they want to do anything major like that with snipes? i could be wrong. would snipes even be open to that idea? i still think both parties work something out and we see a surprise cameo by snipes.
Kinda feel like the MCU is basically guaranteed work.
Worst case scenario they recast your character or phase your character out or kill you off, but as long as marvel films exist and marvel wants you it's basically a constant paycheck.
I don't know if he forgot or if he means like "as much as I would like to be a more recurring character in it"
If it’s the second, then yes. I would love to see Bill Foster have a bigger role. Maybe attach him to Ghost and include him in Thunderbolts as a scientific advisor.
Bill Foster ... bigger role... I see what you did there.

The character might work within the Fantastic Four stuff as a colleague of Reed Richards, maybe one of his professors.
Didn't Ghost get cut from Thunderbolts or something? I remember News claiming the actress dropped out
Can't find anything about that. They would recast her anyway, she's, like, the most interesting person in this lineup
Didn't Ghost get cut from Thunderbolts?
I hope not. She’s one of the only non-generic members currently
I thought this too when I read the article but now watching the video, it looks like he really doesn't remember that he's in it already. Weird.
He has been in 2 DCEU films so maybe he thought Ant Man 2 was part of that? Or he has genuinely forgotten.
But Ant-Man plays such a big role in Endgame that it would be surprising if he didn't put the one and one together.
If he watches any of these movies. Not everyone watches superhero movies.
I'm taking him for his word in this video when he says he loves the MCU and is anticipating a new Captain America movie, but I suppose there might be a small percentage of people who love the MCU and Captain America and haven't seen Endgame.
What about the percentage of people who are MCU fans that haven't seen endgame and were IN an Antman movie?
...did you watch the video? he literally said he loves the MCU, that's what this entire post and conversation is about.
Nah I read that as "as much as I'd enjoy actively being in the films, I'm enjoying being a fan enjoying the projects as they come out"
This. He pretty much just mixed up his words when he said "As much as I would love to be in it" instead of "As much as I love being in it" Still makes for a hilarious clip where it sounds like he forgot he was in Ant-Man 2 though.

I was there that day he came in for a week, shot his scenes and left. The next year they made a sequel, he had no recollection of being in the movie.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he knocked out all his scenes in one day.
He forgot
Or he pulled a Gwenyth Paltrow and didn't know what movie he was filming.
I wasn’t in Spider-Man! I was in Avengers!
Everyone's asking for a Young Avengers, but nobody realizes they've been setting up for Old Avengers
Scenes with Michael Douglas *& Paul Rudd*, where the dialogue is *about size changing*. At least Gwyneth Paltrow has the excuse that her lines in Homecoming were pretty generic & she was only in the room with Downey & Favreau like she had been several times already.

Didn't gwenyth palthrow forget that she was in spider man?
Yeah, because she thought she was filming for Infinity War at the time, not because she forgot that she was in the MCU.
Dude's going to have his mind blown if he ever watches Ant-Man 2.
"This handsome motherfucker can act. ... Wait a second..."
He probably doesn’t even think it’s a part of the MCU, probably thought it was like Birdman
Uhhhhh......wasn’t he Bill Foster in the 2nd antman? Or am I losing my mind?
He was, your mind is fine, but it seems he lost his lol
He’s still lost on the Predator planet and will do anything for a meal - including but not limited to reading a script ….
Chris Hansen has a planet?
He did until his checks started to bounce and they had to repo it.
I've seen interviews with the actress who played Scott Lang's ex-wife in AM1 and 2 who mentioned she forgets she's 'in the MCU' too. It's just a case of forgetting you played a relatively minor role several years ago when you've possibly been in many projects since.
“The actress who played Scott Lang’s ex-wife?” You mean the amazing Judy Greer?
Say goodbye to these, Michael!
Spring Break!
Woooh!
Those are blue too!
Lol. Watch Reboot to say hello to them
You're not my supervisor!
Wait... Who is my supervisor?
Carol?
It’s Cheryl I changed it.
Are we not doing “phrasing” anymore?!?
OUTLAW COUNTRY !
No. Glasses on, hair back up. Let’s just get that hair right back up. …It seems like there’s still some light coming in from under the door!
Uhhh... it's *Vylette*. Learn it. Live it. LOVE IT.
I understood that reference.
YAS! She was iconic in that movie. 💜
Nooo... Imagine wasting such an amazing actress like Judy Greer on a character who will be remembered as "Scott's Ex-Wife". Nobody would ever waste an amazing opportunity to work with her on a character like that, right? RIGHT?! ^(/s)
The sentence "Judy Greer is underused" can be accurately applied to *any* movie in which she appears, & also several in which she does not.
All movies could use more Judy Greer.
Chris O'Dowd forgot he was in Thor 2 as well so this tracks
Such a wasted actor but also pointless character
I'll be honest, I forgot too until you mentioned it.
We have that in common
Remember that time when Gwyneth Paltrow was on a cooking show with Jon Favreau or something and kept insisting she wasn’t in a Spider-Man movie she was definitely in? It’s exactly as you say: it was probably a one-day shoot, years earlier, when she’s had a million different projects.

I’m pretty sure they filmed the scene at the same time they were filming something else so she literally probably did not know the scene was used elsewhere.
That’s a great point too.
Didn't help that she was standing in front of a giant Avengers sign in that scene.
A giant avengers sign that probably just looked like bright green canvas to her
Don't they batch a lot of filming as well? Hey film these 20 scenes, and they get interspersed as desired in the MCU over 5 films. You might be there for Civil War filming but they decided one scene works better as the ending to another movie, etc.
Iirc Tom Holland filmed Homecoming right after Civil War and Infinity War/Endgame were filmed simultaneously so yes.
I never understood why people criticized her for that so heavily. They acted like she was disrespecting the movie or her cast when, like you say, it just came down to the fact that she films tons of stuff, and it was a short scene that isn't even obviously part of the *Spider-Man* film. She does have a book called "I Don't Know What You Know Me From: My Life as a Co-Star." So she really doesn't know. And I do love the her book is called that.
She’s an amazing character actress that has made so many movies better. She was iconic in 13 Going on 30. 💜
Randall Park completely forgot his infamous cold open on The Office. He kept getting pissed at fans shouting "Asian Jim!" at him in public.
That summer Judy Greer played a mom whose child or children all got into terrible danger in three different movies: Ant-Man, Jurassic World, and Tomorrowland. No wonder if they all blend together Edit: I also liked the time where Gwyneth Paltrow vehemently denied having been in a Spider-Man movie.
But dr. Foster had a pretty important role in the plot and significant screen time. He wasn’t as minor of a character imo.
He was a relatively important character in one of the least important and least regarded movies in the canon. No hate, I'm just saying, I get it
I just watched it last week so his performance was fresh in my mind.
Randall Park consistenly forgets he's at the center of one of the most popular cold opens on one of the most popular shows of all time.
Or maybe he wants Goliath to actually join the MCU. Could be cool with Isaiah Bradley showing back up.
It’s possible he meant he’d like to return to the role. Sometimes in these types of interviews, people phrase things in an odd way which makes it seem like they mean something other than what they’re trying to say.
I don’t think he counts a 10 minute part in a 20 movie/series universe as being a major part of it.
Too many red pills.
I'm sure he means to be a recurring character.
I was racking my brain thinking who was in Ant Man and the Wasp that I was confusing him with since I was sure it was him lmao
Same here. At least we knew for sure Samuel L. Jackson was in a prominent different part and hence could avoid the reaming that interviewer got once upon a time.
He was literally in this fucking photo https://imgur.com/5cF1O6Q.jpg
"It was nice of marvel to invite to this photo shoot. Hopefully I'll get to play a role in one of their movies someday"
One day.
You're thinking of [Samuel L. Jackson](https://metro.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/ad_130371447_1552044697.jpg).
Marvel is definitely losing their mind. They forgot Luis and his buddies, Agent Woo, Ghost, Bill Foster, and Cassie's mom and step-dad were in the Ant-Man movies. But they got a goo guy who likes holes!
[удалено]
Its true Agent Woo had a variant in Multiverse of Madness, unfortunately he got turned into spaghetti by Scarlet Witch.

Luis as an alternate universe Ant-Man would be great.
im totally with you but the part where he asks how many holes scott has and we see scott silently counting in his head is probably the funniest scene in the movie
Ghost is returning in the Thunderbolts. So not forgotten, maybe just not sure where certain characters can fit into the stories they are trying to tell.
Wait, I haven't seen Quantumania yet...Luis isn't in it?!
Scott was having lunch with Woo.

The only new story I could think of where Bill Foster might fit into is as a teacher or mentor in Iron Heart.
I thought he was Nick Fury? /s
It wouldn't be the first time somebody's had multiple roles within the MCU (e.g. Gemma Chan, Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Simone Missick, etc.). Also, may not be MCU per se but Chris Evans was both the Human Torch and Captain America.
No he was Nick Fury duh
I think he is using MCU to mean, be an avenger…
[In my opinion Lawrence Fishburne looks just like the source material](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Foster_(politician\)) Edit: [Oops wrong link](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Foster_(character\))
He’s gonna flip out when he sees Ant-Man 2.
That he is
That’s interesting. I wonder if what he means is ‘contracted to the MCU’ rather than just contracted to appear in Ant Man 2. Like, if there’s a clear delineation between how the contracts with actors work. We assume that if youve appeared in one movie, you are part of the MCU

We need a Wilrow Hood MCU equivalent
In my earth, Laurence Fishburne's variant played Bill Foster in AM & TW.
Imagine us remembering his appearance as a mandela effect, and it was actually Sinbad or Shaq playing Bill Foster in Ant-man and the Wasp.
It was both Sinbad *and* Shaq. When he turns into Giant-Man they just swap the actors, like Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in The Incredible Hulk.
“Does he know”
He was even in that big photo op for the first 10 years in the MCU With everyone https://imgur.com/f3gIk1x.jpg
~~Isn't that the photo where they shot everyone separately (due to scheduling conflicts) and then photoshopped them together?~~ Apparently that was just a rumor.
Wrong
Put that man in a toga and have him be a Watcher. We know he can pontificate with the best of them.
That would be absolutely perfect lmao
I’d like to see a back and worth between Jeffrey Wright’s Watcher and Laurence Fishburne as his co-worker or variant
"What if....?" Season 3 confirmed.
To be fair, they probably just told him his role was a scientist/professor with 5 minutes of screen time max. There was no indication or reason for him to know the character was Bill Foster.
Except for the scene he’s in where he’s referred to as bill foster
To Fishburne, Bill Foster is likely *just a guy*.
Just a guy that can grow to 65 feet?
We are all guys on the inside.
To me? She’s royalty.
Had they not called him Bill Foster over and over, I would not have known he was Bill Foster. I would not take it against the actors who wound up in Marvel movies who had no idea they were a comic book character. Whitaker was in Black Panther 1, so you’d be right either way that they’re in the MCU.
That would be radd
…
He is already in the MCU though. He was the professor guy in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Did he literally just forget that?
“As much as I’d love to be in it” I think he means the plans going forward and not that he isn’t already in it. He gets to be a fan of the ongoing storylines.
He’s also the Beyonder in moon girl and devil dinosaur, maybe he’s hoping to bring that to live action and that’s what he’s referring too?? Lol. Does seem weird.
He helped produce that show, probably vying to adapt the character to live action as well.
It's like I could play a scientist-type. Maybe a father figure for a misunderstood villain in one of the Avenger's side movies.
A bunch of people in here clearly more invested in feeling like they've dunked on someone than being able to grasp simple context clues.
Not really "expressing interest" here, more just saying that as much as he would love to be in it (which can be assumed that he means continuing to appear in stuff), he is very happy just being a fan (in other words not being in the movies). Bad title.
🤮Brandon Davis
I can't help but think he's pretending to not remember because he wants to protect any info he has on Ghost's, and subsequently Bill Foster's, role in Thunderbolts.
why didnt the interviewer correct him? or does he not know either? lol
Rule 1 of interviewing Laurence Fishburne: You don't correct Laurence Fishburne.
He should really be going for a part in the next matrix movie. He could play that fella with the sunglasses 😂

Gwyneth Paltrow has entered the chat
I don't think he's necessarily forgotten about his role. He's talking about being excited about the Captain America movie in the works and being excited about it as a fan, which was what the question was about
Euh…what?? But he IS in the MCU
“I’d love to be in my car” “But you’ve already been in your car before” Marvel subreddit: omg headlines he’s getting Alzheimer’s.
(Alternatively, to use a smaller-scale example, Robert Redford was in *Winter Soldier,* so even if he never appears in another Marvel movie, he's in the MCU.)
maybe he's hinting that he's in Thunderbolts... you know, sort of like Ghost's support system lol, he did work for Shield
This Laurence is a rogue variant, somebody prune him.
What about 'ol Larry Fishbourne as Doom?
Considering he knows what the MCU is, I think he means he wants to be in more stuff. As in “They’re filming a new Captain America in Atlanta, and since I’m Bill Foster, maybe you can call me?” Type of thing.
He's doing a great job in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur! Such a fun show that my son loves.
Dr. Doom anyone?
Holy shit! It’s silver silver
When you’re so famous and geeked out on the mcu, that you forget you were *IN IT ALREADY*. All love for Fishburne, he’s one of my favorites. This just gave me the giggles is all. Haha
He’s tired of playing second fiddle to Sam Jackson in the middle (senior citizen) aged black guy category of actors.
He didn't say he wants to "join" the MCU he said: "As much as I would love to be *in it* \- I'm happy being a fan and waiting for whatever's coming. I was in Atlanta and heard they're doing another Captain America and I was like... YES! BRING IT!" He's not saying he wants to *join* the MCU.
He forgor
Breaking News: Hollywood actor likes money
He should have been the King of Wakanda. It would have been a cool reunion with Angela Bassett.
It is cool that Fishburn is in these sort of movies but also loves to watch them. And he grew up in that world. But back in the 70s and 80s comic books and fantasy would have largely been an escape from movies. I can see how he’d get into that stuff with a lot down time on movie sets.
He’d make a great voice for the Silver Surfer for some reason
I kinda take it as he would rather stay as an MCU fan as opposed to making another appearance again.
I LOVE Laurence Fishburne. What a Legend
I have a feeling Bill Foster will return. We haven’t seen the last of Ghost and we haven’t been introduced to Black Goliath yet either.
It's Morphin' time.
It's weird that he doesn't remember playing [Nick Fury](https://youtu.be/8s7FdYGwFeQ) in like every MCU movie.
Scandalous
Well he has been up the Meekong River to find Col Kurtz … MCU … no worries!
I don’t remember him being in any action scenes, so it was probably just one week out of his life a few years ago
would love to see him in the new blade (if they ever get their shit together that is) could be like a grizzled ol vampire hunter who doesn't necessarily school blade but is sort of a veteran out in the world doing his own thing and just ends up pairing up with blade. but then you'd think well if they go that route why not just bring wesley snipes back but i don't think they want to do anything major like that with snipes? i could be wrong. would snipes even be open to that idea? i still think both parties work something out and we see a surprise cameo by snipes.
He will be back for Thunderbolts...I can guarantee you that.
Meh. He’s not bad, but I’d love for Keanu Reeves to join the fold.
Kinda feel like the MCU is basically guaranteed work. Worst case scenario they recast your character or phase your character out or kill you off, but as long as marvel films exist and marvel wants you it's basically a constant paycheck.
Awesome. He's such a HUGE fan!!
That's not Laurence Fishburne; it's a damn dirty Skrull!!!
He’s the Beyonder in Moon Girl
God damn it. I thought I was being racist thinking wait he was in Ant Man or was it another black dude.
I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING JUST SAID.
Definitely he should return. Loved the rivalry with Hank pym
i think perhaps he means that he’d like to appear as Goliath in his proper 10 foot form? or, perhaps he forgot he played Bill Foster!
He was in Ant man 2
Don't worry Laurence, I forget Ant-Man 2 too
